Also Davis Auto repair, which is next to Jim's Oil depot, and of the same ownership, is of the highest quality as well. They take the time to explain which repairs are needed and why. They left my side plate off, likely because it wasn't fastened correctly after the oil change, and it ended up dragging on the road until I lost it completely. On top of that, oil was spilled all under my hood, and when the technician attempted to show me my oil level, he just waved the dipstick around without explaining or showing anything clearly. It was sloppy and careless work from start to finish. When I called to report the issue, the response was completely nonchalant. The manager said he would send me a coupon for the inconvenience that could be used at any Valvoline, but he never followed through. I stop at Valvoline often, but I will never return to this location. The lack of professionalism, attention to detail, and follow-through was extremely disappointing.

So I went to Monro in Northville. Over the last months with the frigid temps, my "tire inflation" warning lights came on twice. I took the vehicle to Monro and they cheerfully checked my air and told me how the cold temps deflate tire air pressure. Today, I took the vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation.
