Went to get my usual oil change from this place and everything was good till I start seeing oil almost immediately on my driveway so I call oil pro and they said to bring it by so I did and they tell me the oil filter housing housing cracked because the way my engine is which is ridiculous because it started right after they did oil change. Mechanic that I got a second opinion from said they most likely tightened the oil filter too tight but guess it's not their problem anymore but last time I bring any of my cars here! (Note: I've been bringing both mine and my fiancés car here for over 5 years so this is very disappointing to me.) If it was cracked before I brought it there they would of definitely pointed it out just suprised that they aren't tryin to make this right especially when I'm a repeat customer. I typically take my car to jiffy lube for my oil changes but I pass this place every day on my to work and thought to give it a try after reading the positive reviews. You have to drive your car in the bay to start, I was greeted by a very nice gentleman that took my information to put in the system. It's a small area but very clean, the waiting area was cute and had a home feeling, with a tv and popcorn machine. Great communication and quick turn around. I need a new oil pan so they gave me an estimate told me it's not a rush but probably should get it done next oil change. It was nice not to feel pressured or taken advantage of because I'm a woman. They were honest and up front. They don't vacuum or clean your windows with the oil change though. It was cheaper than taken it to jiffy lube for my car. read more

I have confidence that they will do the job right and have trust in whatever they tell me about my vehicle. Additionally, they saved me a very costly repair when they pointed out a transmission leak and mentioned that they had seen this same issue on a few other vehicles of the same model. I was able to take my car into the dealership while it had less than 1000 miles left on the factory warranty. I am always wary of shady or less known mechanic shops but this one tickles my fancy. Ive been going to this Oil Pro since 2007 and have had zero problems since. The old oil shop I used to go to stole a bag from my car that had condoms and lube I bought from WalMart earlier in the day. ($40 loss). I wasnt happy, but i wasnt about to argue about the theft with all the old ladies in the waiting room. Anyways... The guys here at Oil Pro do a very good job and are very quick. I know a lot about cars and not once have they tried to sell me on a bogus repair or bogus fluid change. They track your cars performance and past adjustments so they know exactly when you need to flush out certain systems. Randomly stopped here because I was in the area and had some time to get an oil change. I usually dread the whole oil change process and the way other places really try to push and sell as much as they can. This place didn't do that. I obviously went at a good time (around noon) and was in and out in 15 minutes. The guy I worked with was informative but not pushy to sell anything and explained their free top off program and a coming up customer appreciation discount day. I don't live in the area but I will make it a point to go back there for oil changes. Highly recommend! read more

I really like this place! They are always so nice and helpful! I always put off oil changes to the last minute. It always seem it's time to get the oil changed at the most inconvenient times -once when I had a cold. I came in, told them I was sick, just do a quick regular oil change. I was out in maybe 15 minutes! I came in too once because one of my tires needed air. I don't know how to put air in my tires and they helped me. Very nice guys! read more

I have been coming to this location since 1999. I love the staff and the service. As for price, yes they are a little more expensive than I want to pay. I will pay for the "extras" like knowing, my car, giving me recommendations (not up-selling), being efficient, and knowing my name. As long as Oil Pro is convenient for me (I live Homer Glen and work in Itasca), they are MY shop. I schedule my maintenance around their hours. I call and get an estimate of turn around. I have been to this place several times in the last few years for oil changes only. Always fast, courteous and professional. Get me in and out with no hassle. They ask but don't push the extras. Last oil change they mentioned my belts were in bad shape and that they offered the service. Gave me a great price compared to what my regular mechanic would charge. Scheduled the service, showed up, they had the parts on site and was done before I finished a plate of sushi. These guys will be my go to for oil changes, fan belts and I just found out they do brakes...next on the list.
