They have it advertised where an oil change can be done in 15 mins LOL! So if it's not done in 15 minutes do I get a discount? I drove in at 5:30pm and left at 6:20pm. DON'T COME HERE! I honestly wish there was 0 stars, but I will NEVER give this company business ever again. I went in for an oil change and 2 days later decided to go up to Wisconsin when all of a sudden the oil light had come onto my dashboard, i immediately shut off the car and got out to all the damn oil on the ground. I was stranded in the middle of the highway, sat for 2 hours waiting around for a tow truck and then found out that a worker in the lower bay (ACUNA A.) did not tighten the drain plug. He had put the paint on the drain plug making it look like it was tightened but obviously it was not if all my oil had came out. I am very disappointed, mad and upset in this company and obviously these workers don't know how to do their damn jobs. They hire kids that's what it's all about. RIP OFF SERVICE SCAMMER I used this Jiffy location for years, I do my own oil changes on my vehicles but my daily driver is a fleet owned service van. I see there is no waiting so I could use a quick oil change. "What can we do for you today?" My response was Just an oil change. As I'm watching through the windows the guy is replacing my wiper blades! Never asked me just starts changing them, so I figure no big deal not my money it's a fleet truck. If they would have asked me I would have said yes so,.... why bust the man with the man bun? He's probably getting a cut for upselling. My husband brought my vehicle to Jiffy Lube for an oil change yesterday. My car was driving beautifully. I had an oil change done and today when I was driving to work, the engine light came on and my car started to shake. It wouldn't idle properly. I called in the afternoon and asked to speak with the manager. I was told he was busy. After work, my car almost died and I had to drive here all the way from Downers Grove because they told me I had to bring it here. They told me they were going to drain the oil and put in new oil my husband and I requested that they put in synthetic. We waited over an hour while they were working on our car and after an hour, the guy came and told me that they added some synthetic oil to the blended oil that was already in my car and that corporate had called them and told them they could not drain my oil and refill it. My husband was extremely upset and told them we would pay for it but we wanted the other oil removed from my vehicle. They refused to take responsibility for what they did to my car and they charged us $100 to get another oil change done to fix the error that they did. Do not come to Jiffy Lube in Addison on Lake Street. I would hate for anyone to have the same situation happen to them. It's all about the money for them. They don't care about your vehicle or how they leave your vehicle. When you trust someone with your vehicle, it should be returned to you if not better than it was when you brought it to them. Shame on them do not give them the business. Take the car elsewhere. It's a shame that people only have business by ripping other people off. They charged us $150 for me to have another oil change done to fix the problem that they created. And the manager was nowhere to be found, and the gentleman that was working on my car told me he previously used to work on cars at a dealership, but ironically, he's now working at Jiffy Lube. I quit going to Jiffy Lube a few years ago due to upselling, but thought I would give it a try again. I told the attendant I came for just an oil change, no tire rotation which he asked about, etc. He came into the waiting room and said Enterprise had approved a wiper change so they were doing it (this is a fleet vehicle). I told him no, "don't change the wipers" - I drive 35,000 miles per year for my career of 43 years and know when my wipers need changing, not Enterprise. This vehicle is only one year old! A few minutes later I walk into the garage and the lady is changing my wipers! She said Enterprise had paid for it, then got upset with me when I got upset with her after I had told them to not change the wipers! The inexperienced staff there forgot to empty my spent oil and put 5 more quarts on top of the old oil. The engine holds 10 quarts but the over abundance of oil causes the oil chamber to run at high pressure blowing out my oil pump seals. They caused $1700 dollars in repairs to my engine and did absolutely nothing to help me with the cost. Corporate also was no help. They have lost a 30 year customer!!! stay away!! read more

When I first arrived I told one of the employees to put air in my tire and didn't want anything else looked at. 5 mins later I'm called over by supervisor and was told I didn't have ANY antifreeze in my truck. I normally go to the Roselle location but after a few mistakes I decided to go to the Addison Location. At the Roselle location I get the signature service oil change and get the same oil every single time. My bill is usually $39.95 for the oil change. This time the Addison location asked me if I wanted to use the same oil I use every time. I said yes. However my bill came out to $54.99. I was astonished since I never pay more than $40 for my oil change. So I asked the guy to explain because I normally pay less. He claimed they use the same oil that I use every time. I told him I don't think that is right because I get charged less every time at the Roselle location. He looked grumpy and didn't give me any sort of explanation or solution, so I ended up just paying so I could leave the place! I felt very taken advantage of. So I called Roselle right after to ask what the price was and they said they charge the $39.95 and if I used the same oil that should be the cost. They looked up my license plate number and had no idea why I got charged so much at the Addison location. On a side note: the rest of the staff was extremely friendly but this bad experience ruined it for me! I complained to Jiffy Lube corporate but since the stores are franchised I have no idea when or if I'll get a response since they said they "forwarded my email." In addition, they day after I left my low air tire light went on. I had my tires checked out and it turns out they are fine but the sensor is broken. Please save your self the pain and heartache and do not take your car here I recently moved out here and thought this jiffy lube was a good option for a standard oil change i have been to many jiffy lubes before with other cars so I decided to get a oil change on my 2017 vw at this location for the first time boy was I wrong I went there 2/11/22 everything was fine initial my low oil light went on when I had 600 miles until my next oil change and I stoped at the nearest oil place that was not jiffy lube immediately the owner lifted my car and showed me that jiffy lube had broke my oil change cover and tied it with zip ties that wasn't even the worse part my car take 5.8 quarts of oil they only put 3 in so the owner informed me to call and speak to them so they can fix the issue so my husband called and the manger informed him that the people that worked on my car was no longer working there that they got terminated so he can't verify what went on so he would get some one to call me to get this fixed. I took my car for an oil change. I simply stated not once, not twice, but three times that I only wanted an oil change considering I brought my own oil and filter. Now I understand they have to up sale as a part of the job, and they inform me of things that I "need" like ( transmission flush, coolant flush, etc.) -- I get it. Took a Nissan Xterra to the shop for a signature oil change and requested to have air pumped into its tires. One tire in particular was lagging. The manager, Nick, was semi-professional. He said his staff inflated the tires, but soon enough I found myself going back there to have them inflated again. Upon my return there, he was petulant and short-tempered. I felt like he was treating me like a problem. Jiffy Lube re-filled my tires but one staff member rolled the window down when it shouldn't have been. I admitted that I should have told them beforehand not to open it, but it didn't come to mind because I didn't realize rolling the window down in the procedure would be necessary. I simply asked them if they could close it. Nick seemed willing to close the window his team opened but became crotchety with me even though I wasn't rushing him at all. In fact, I was waiting patiently in the parking lot. He asked me to move around the back, and I did so without any contest. After the staff (understandably) failed to close the window using a rag and pincers, the manager attempted to send me away to an auto shop to have the window closed without he himself coming out again to see me. I accepted the resolution. But that doesn't mean I was ready to buy a new window. I just wanted it closed. So I asked the service member to find out if I was going to have to pay for the window being closed/purchased. After speaking to the service member, Nick left the shop up in arms, shouting that opening the window wasn't the fault of Jiffy Lube. I even had to tell him to calm down. (Note: I NEVER SAID IT WAS THEIR FAULT. See how the manager put words in my mouth and implied the worst of the situation -- In pattern to his approach of treating my like a problem?) Additionally, I had asked the service member at what point during the procedure the team needs to open the window and he replied that they open the window for "call-ins." I told Nick this and he yelled in disagreement as though I were the one who made the claim. I don't see how he could've blamed me for simply referencing the statement a service member made. I told him all of this and he became more conciliate, but never apologized. Nor did he fully revert from the aggressive tone he had used for the duration of our conversation. I subsequently went to the auto shop at which he referenced me to get a quote and my window closed. Meaning, Nick is doing all the work for oil changes and two guys are just washing windows but not really doing the work needed to turn vehicles quickly. Took my wife's car in for a routine oil change and the Bozo manager talked me into an engine flush.. Oh it's really dirty and you should do this.. So I decided on the procedure. Thought it can't hurt the car after all.. Right??? It will clean things up and bozo said it really needed it... Wrong.. Halfway through the process I decided to look it up on my smart phone and was blown away by how many people had problems after one of these so called flushes. However, it was too late they had already completed the procedure and was in the process of topping off the oil. Sure as you know what the next day on the garage floor.. Oil.. Two weeks later..Oil.. not a whole lot but needless to say it caused an issue. I take this car in like clockwork for oil changes/maintenance and it has NEVER leaked oil ever. Again finding out after the fact that you should not have this done and I'm sure Bozo is still recommending it to just about everyone that walks in the door. These reviews fall right in line with my experience. I went there once years ago and remember how rude they become the moment you question anything and their prices are stupid high! Most locations have a $15 coupon online, this place does not. Anyhow, I went there because i was in a hurry and going to the north avenue and 355 location was out of the way. They bring my car in and the guy releases the hood. The manager is over the hood and says release it. He says he did so she pulls the hood up without releasing the tab. It bangs against the tab so she pulls the release and opens it. Since my car is a VW diesel with no diesel markings I figure I should remind her its a diesel so I do. She snaps back that she knows what it is. I snap back you didn't know how to open my hood so I figured better safe than sorry. I knew I should have just said forget the oil change and left, but I didn't! As I was waiting in the lobby I saw a lot of fluid running down the bottom of my car so I asked a guy by the door what's with all the fluid? He tells me it is cleaner they spray on the bottom of the pan so I record the dripping anyway. A few minutes later they called me out to the car and asked who did my last oil change. I asked why. He said they put the cap on the filter cover on too tight so when he was removing it he broke the fitting attaching my radiator to a block with a sensor attached to my engine then said the part was already broken and was glued back together which of course was not true. I figure they did it on purpose because I snapped back at the queen. He tells me he can give me a ride home and the car will be ready in two or three days. I flip out and tell him I need a rental car now. He let's me talk to the district manager who says he will be in the shop soon. He gets there and tells me to take his car. That is how I know how cheap that jiffy lube owner must be. A rental car is like 20 bucks. I told them I'd prefer they try to just fix my car quickly instead so I don't have to take his car. To end this story, they fixed my car in a couple hours and then billed me EIGHTY NINE dollars for the oil change. At the very least I expected a free oil change for all the time I wasted at JIFFY lube and a coupon for another free oil change just to get me to come back. Won't be making that mistake ever again with any jiffy lube. When it was time to pay, they only gave me the uber driver discount saying that's what the manager told him . Worst customer service ever. Watched a tech playing on his phone while the manager was blowing my horn trying to get him to open the door. After watching this for several minute I walked outside and spoke through the open door telling him to open the door so I can get my car serviced. He told me to go sit down. I asked what did you just say? and he responded or just stand there. By this time another employee finally opened the door, and the manager pulled my car in, I walked into the shop and told him just keep pulling it through because they will not be servicing any more of my vehicles. He asked why and I told him because he has a smart mouthed rude employee, and they don't deserve my business anymore. Besides oil changes, they also do tire rotations. Price was $20, now $30, I asked if they could do $25, wouldn't. I called in 90 minutes before close and asked if they can get it done before close. He said yes, and that I would need to be back before 8 otherwise they would lock the car inside. Whatever, if I give you payment, just leave the car out. Real issue is I showed up and he said "let me call my boss to see if we have the tools." What?...He came back and said he told his boss that the lugnuts looked rusty and they wouldn't do it. Made an excuse to call his boss, and just didn't want to do it. I told him the wheels have been off within the year. Didn't matter. This is an issue, but my other car with allen key lugnuts which always seize on the key they are okay with. Those are a pain and they are okay cause those aren't "rusted." Not real competitive prices, always trying to up sell you, will take advantage of people, such as my wife with no automotive acumen, with over stating the importance of things like cabin filters need for replacement, ie needs change soon but can wait a few more maintenance cycles. Plus part is your in and out as fast or faster than a mechanic shop where oil changes are not there main function. Oh and staff are not mechanics and in some cases hardly know the difference between a metric wrench and a SAE wrench, they just know enough to get by while going to college. read more

The AC in my car wasn't cooling the air at all, so I took it there for the AC recharge service. It was a little pricey (~$180) but they did a good job with making the AC effective again. At the same time they inspected the levels of fluids and condition of different parts, for example pointing out burnt out tail lights, without pressuring to have those parts replaced. read more
