Took myself on a date and this was deff the place to go. I've been dying to try oise since it's Japanese and Italian fusion. My two favorite cuisines. I started off with an espresso martini which you can never go wrong with. For food I had the gyoza app. It was so different but very good flavors. I think I remember it saying something about parm cheese on it and I wasn't sure how it would turn out but it added an extra flavor level I wasn't expecting. I then had the smaller filet and spicy rigatoni for my entree. Both were delicious. I had some left overs for the next day and they tasted just as good as the first day. I was on vacation and we saw this restaurant while scrolling thru TikTok. We hoped to make it to HH but failed so we had dinner reservations. I ordered the margarita and it was unusual and weird. It had like a sweet cold foam on top so I didn't really care for it. I had no straw so I couldn't drink the bottom but oh well I wanted to try the crispy rice tuna, and my friend wanted the sushi. They run out of sushi.. what restaurant runs out of their main attraction?! So I get my crispy rice and omg it was sooooo hard the rice. Like not even tasting like real food but fake food. We dined at Oise for my husband's birthday. Aside from the parking challenge, everything was great. We were seated in a comfy, plush perimeter booth with great visibility to pretty much the entire restaurant. The interior is very aesthetically pleasing and the bar area is especially pretty. Anthony took great care of us as our server. As first timers, he provided guidance and menu suggestions, which we appreciated. We shared the Carbonara, Chicken Parm and Marsala Mushrooms. Given the time of our reservation, we benefitted from the Early Dinner / Happy Hour menu prices, and as Anthony pointed out, you receive full dinner portions at reduced prices (who doesn't love that??). 3.5 stars: this just wasn't it for me. We checked out this newer restaurant, which is "Japanese Italian Fusion". SPACE / AMBIANCE They have outdoor patio seating, but inside is more vibey with great decor behind the bar - check out the photos. SERVICE We dined on Art Walk night, and the place was SLAMMED. They were clearly understaffed, but that doesn't make up for the poor service. Our server took 15 minutes to get to us and greet us, and even longer to get us water and take our order. It took 30 minutes to bring two glasses of wine and whiskey on the rocks. Our server didn't check in at all between the time we ordered our food and drinks together and when it came out - no apologies for the long wait, refresh of waters, etc. and instead was talking with fellow servers behind the bar. For a higher end restaurant, even if you're packed, attentive service or even just one check-in is a must. DRINKS We loved the wine we got! None of the cocktails stood out to us, and were quite pricey, so we passed on those. MENU I was quite disappointed to find it isn't Japanese Italian fusion, but rather Japanese and Italian dishes offered separately on the menu. To me, Japanese-Italian fusion is Japanese flavors in pasta or on pizza - but this is just sushi and pasta on the same menu. FOOD Again, prices are steep here - to be expected when sushi is involved. Oise's decor is chic and modern. This place did not disappoint. It truly left you wanting to come back for more. It was not just the food it was an experience!! Miami - based, and award winning Chef Brad Kilgore and partners are completely changing, and up leveling the culinary scene in the area. Stay tuned for another Oise opening in Downtown Cape Coral. She started with a crafted cocktail the Matcha Vesuvio - A blend of matcha, likely with other complementary flavors, described as herbal, earthy, and unexpectedly smooth. It's a great twist to a peruvian Pisco Sour. We started our culinary experience with the Peruvian Ceviche Roll - Coconut Leche De Tigre, Aji Amarillo Aioli, Red Onion, Swirled Culantro, an explosion of flavors in our mouth! It truly tasted like ceviche! Then we had the Caramelized Meatball - Wagyu Beef, Caramelized Fondue, Red-Miso Marinara, Toasted Sesame Garlic Bread. Just WOW!! For main course we had the Truffle Sesame Carbonara Pappardelle Pasta, Black Truffle, Pecorino, Egg Yolk, Black Sesame. I wish you could see my face when I tasted and ate this!!! We also had the Black Angus Skirt Steak, Medium Rare. It was perfectly cooked and extremely tender. The flavors were so intense - it didn't need any of the three choice of sauces that are served with it on the side. But they are a nice compliment for those who like to add sauce. And For dessert we had their Tiramisu not like a traditional Tiramisu this was next level. It was so good that I realized it was gone before I could even take a picture. Later in the night and at closing time we shared and tried additional craft cocktails. Their famous Lychee Martini and their Old Fashion with a twist. Vibrant and very busy restaurant on a Saturday night. I ordered a drink which was promptly served. I decided on the Spicy Tuna Roll with roasted garlic aioli, kimchi-chili sauce, cilantro and serrano chili along with the Snowbird roll with smoked salmon, blue crab, basil boursin, everything furjkake, and cucumber. Visiting Fort Myers from California and decided to stop by Oisí Restaurante. In my essay I had such an amazing experience. I was greeted at the door and immediately offered still or sparkling water by our server John, who is absolutely delightful to talk to. He gave some amazing recommendations that all hit. We started off with the truffle Parmesan fries as well as the spicy tuna crispy rice. Then we moved on to our mains, which were the dynamite roll with real crab, which tasted absolutely delicious, and the 10 oz filet mignon steak. They brought out sauces without us even asking. Amazing! We love free sauces that complement our meals. Everything was so good and the service was on point. Jason also stopped by to deliver food and help us out and explain the sauces. 10/10 recommended, will be back next time in Fort Myers. And not to mention the decor was beautiful. My husband and I have been dying to try Oise. We couldn't understand how Italian and Japanese could be fused together but now we get it. Imagine taking the best elements from each culture and expertly curating the perfect bite. Sushi with bacon and scallops? Chicken parm with panko and chili crisp? We're not sure how it works, but it does. Besides the stellar service and creative cocktail list, the star of the show (for us anyway) was the ceviche sushi roll. This refreshing roll packed a bold citrus flavor that knocked us off our seat. It all came out at once (not expecting that ) the breadsticks and sauce were cold, but tasted probably even better hot. I've been to Oise multiple times and have tried almost everything on the menu (drinks, food, and desserts), and it has usually been an amazing experience. The service is normally outstanding, which is why tonight's visit was so disappointing. Our server, Angie, barely checked on us throughout the evening, and it took over an hour before we were even able to place our order. When my friend mentioned that her dish was too spicy, Angie pointed out that the menu did mention chili flakes, though she did replace the dish, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food itself also missed the mark this time. The chicken, pasta carbonara, and bolognese were all overly salty. To top it off, we were never even asked if we wanted dessert, which was surprising considering how attentive the service usually is here. I also ordered a drink that was forgotten entirely, and throughout the night we felt like we were bothering our server whenever we asked for something. I know this restaurant is capable of much better, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Don't get me wrong, the hostess, bartender and waiter were all super friendly, but this restaurant seems understaffed as we had to wait for about 15-20 minutes past our reservation time to get a seat. Then it took a while for the waiter to come back after dropping off the initial waters. While ordering, we were informed that they didn't have the entree that 2 of us ordered. Food took longer than normal also and we noticed a table that was seated after us getting their food before us. We had the pleasure to meet one of the owners Brad and he was very much engaged and involved in restaurant operations, very nice personable guy. The ambiance is lovely with nice comfortable curved booths along with regular tables and a decent sized bar. Although the restaurant was fairly busy, it was easy to converse and not one of those restaurants where you can't hear yourself think. We had Dylan for our server - he made such great suggestions from start to finish! Not to mention being very attentive! We will ask for him when we return. The vibe is very much what we like, being from Philly, it reminded us of some restaurants we used to frequent. As far as the food, you won't find this anywhere else! From the cocktails to the sushi rolls to the entrees with the perfect combo of Asian and Italian. We started with each of our favorite drinks, a margarita and an old fashioned. They put their own twist on both and they were a great sign of things to come. We then moved on to appetizers (yes we overordered but were excited to try as many menu options as we could). We ordered the dynamite crab roll and the spicy tuna roll along with the prosciutto and burrata. I loved them all but the one I will dream about is the crab roll! For entrees, I had the chicken parm and my husband had the giant meatball. Both absolutely amazing! We finished with the pistachio gelato which was finished with sea salt and it was the perfect ending to our meal. Simply delicious! Not sure when this place opened or if it was always here and I never knew but the food was great. The decor was very modern with minimalist but japanese decor and greenery. We had reservations for a Saturday night and it was busy. We had reservations but for outdoors and we decided to sit inside, meaning we sat at the bar. The staff was running around and busy but the service could've been better. We had an evening planned, arrived at 7:50, didn't order until 8:05 but food didn't come out until 8:40 which set us back. The disapointing part was that we had expressed that we were in a rush and thought we ordered dishes that would be out quickly but we didn't get to eat any in the space, instead had to take it all to go, bummer. My boyfriend and I had to check out Oise when it opened up as it's definitely the most aesthetically appealing restaurant in Fort Myers. I really enjoyed the interior design which focused a lot on greenery (although my boyfriend didn't appreciate that it was fake greenery lol). We started out with the sushi. I can't tell you which one is which, but the truffle one came the truffle yuzu dipping sauce which was to die for. The sushi was good but the sauce made it great. The caveat to that was that they all tasted somewhat similar but oh well. Then we had the meatball. The meatball was good but nothing crazy. It came with an awkward piece of bread that didn't make any sense for the dish. It was tough to break apart and it didn't do anything to the meatball so we weren't sure why it was there. Then came the pasta, which was good but tasted better as my leftovers the next day lol. Then we had the tiramisu which was really unique and yummy. The execution didn't help either--the exterior was overly dry and charred, with blackened portions I had to trim off. Instead of a clean sear and rich, buttery beef flavor, the steak left a bitter aftertaste. At this price point, neither the ingredient quality nor the cooking justified the wagyu label. read more

We had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Ince we're seated the waitress did come over with a reasonable time. We ordered drinks and our entrées. The drinks came out pretty quickly, myself, and my friend got tiramisu martini and I was disappointed it didn't really taste like tiramisu just alcohol. Another friend got a Diet Coke and it was flat absolutely flat. Our waters never got refreshed, we had to ask 3 times before they did. My one friend got the Matcha martini and that was actually delicious. I would've ordered that if I was getting another drink. Food comes out I'm given the incorrect entrée they did comp and I put in something else which ended up being fine, but it wasn't spectacular. Everyone else said the same thing for the price of the food. It was not worth it. They were expecting to be blown away and it was just subpar. Very disappointing. We asked about mocktails and server provided a number of options. All four in our party ordered alcohol free drinks. Waited and waited. Twenty minutes later, server shows up and says, "we are all out of alcohol free spirits". I ordered iced tea and server says " we have no tea". One of our party ordered coffee. Told "we have no coffee, but we have expresso (sic). Asked him if he could make an espresso and add a little hot water. "Sure, no problem". Ten minutes later he returned and said "sorry, we are out of espresso". They advertise as a Japanese restaurant with Italian influences. Japanese and no tea? Italian and no coffee/ espresso? Hmmm. We drank water all evening. Somewhere in there, we ordered our food including a dumpling appetizer. Forty minutes after being seated, waiter stopped by and said "where's your appetizer?". We were wondering the same thing. Another five minutes and it finally showed up. Dumplings were tasty. Over an hour after being seated, our entrees arrived. Salmon ( perfectly cooked; nice), chicken parm ( tasty but chicken tough from overcooking), Pork chop (overcooked and dry), meatball (very dry), side of Marsala mushrooms ( good ) and side of potatoes (good).
