    Spicy Miso Ramen
    Hikari N.

Located right on the outskirts of Rowan University, this place hits the spot. A small little shop with friendly workers ready to take care of you. For being in Jersey, the spicy miso ramen has a very rich broth and LOTS of flavor. Definitely recommend hitting this place up if you're in town

Insides of the crab Crab & Cheese Rangoon (3Pcs) Very yummy

My son and I tried this Ramen spot because we were out in the area. Ambiance was a little lack luster but the staff was prompt and polite, order was taken quickly and everything was good. Best Crab Rangoon I've ever had possibly!!? Very good, crispy outside, plenty of filing. The Ramen was good, I did end up adding siracha and chili oil to give it more of a kick. Over all a fun and satisfying lunch spot!

Tonaktsu app(half eaten) Peanut noodles with chili oil

I haven't tried the ramen so I can't speak for it, but the peanut noodles...errrr not the best I've tried. It was bland and had a salty bitter aftertaste? Not the worst but still wouldn't try it again. The tonkatsu was better though. The coating was dry but the meat was surprisingly tender. The sauce was also pretty good. I do have to say though the employees were friendly and always smiling. I had no problems with the service and the inside of the store seemed like a typical Japanese restaurant you would see anywhere with the wooden furniture and slightly dimmer mood. It was clean and perfectly sized to fit 6-8 tables. I'd come back to maybe try the ramen but not for the noodles I tried today (also if you're thinking of still wanting to try the peanut noodles don't get the one with chili oil it's not worth the extra dollar when the chili oil already comes on the table which I didn't realize)

I never write bad reviews Sadly my first and last time ordering from here; ordered from uber eats so I won't complain about not giving any utensils and the horrible travel packaging. But I ordered kani salad and shrimp tempura ramen. The crab in the kani salad is so ungodly chewy and the entire thing smells weird. The broth of the ramen is good and flavorful but you're really out here giving only the pits/roots of the bok choy and a few mushrooms in a $17 ramen? I'll spend money on food if it's worth the price but you can't be serious...

This was my first Ramen experience and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is located on Rowan University's campus. There is a a parking garage (1st hour is free). The restaurant is small, clean and the staff are attentive. I ordered the gyoza as my appetizer and it was tasty. I ordered the seafood Ramon and it was so delicious. The wontons were also good. My overall experience was great; the food was reasonably priced and I will return.

It feels good to be back! Feels good to be out and about again. Between school, work and family, I have missed posting my food adventures! Still on a ramen quest (yes, my daughter and I are certified ramen heads), we decided to try yet another ramen restaurant. Hello Oishii Ramen! Since the day was beautiful, I decided to take the drive to Glassboro and see what this place was all about. Located on Rowan University campus, the parking is pretty tricky. I had to park a little ways down on the street in front of a small lot of stores. The restaurant was beautiful! Full of art and clean, it was also very quiet. It was not busy and we were seated immediately. I ordered the spicy miso ramen, the takoyaki, and oishii mango slush with the pearls. I do not remember exactly what my daughter ordered, so I will only focus on the food I ate. The takoyaki was delicious! Nice and hot, the drink fabolous, and the spicy miso perfect! Just enough noodles to broth ratio, and the pork was crispy and cooked perfectly. The staff was awesome!! Friendly and efficient, they were very attentive. Side note-Please appreciate the waitstaff where ever you go! From McDonalds to Capital Grille, please treat those in that field with respect and dignity. Be understanding if it takes longer to get your food. We are experiencing a shortage of folks in the restaurant industry.

Went here with a party of 5, it was great! We ordered as much as we could since it was our first time. The people were very polite, and stayed on top of everything! We had both ramen and non ramen food. My son watches anime and love ramen since they have it in all his shows.

My first time sitting down and eating in! The place is clean, waitstaff accommodating, and overall chill vibes when you want some ramen instead of going to Philly. I got the Spicy Miso Ramen which was okay, not the most flavorful of spicy. The pork was a little tough and subtle flavors. Everything came together okay, I definitely have had better ramen (more flavor). It feels a little lacking but nonetheless checked my ramen craving.

rying out some new restaurants while I'm in the area for the holidays. I'm on a Ramen noodle roll and this place was pretty decent for being in a college town. But what a good bowl of Ramen. I got the spicy Ramen and we also got the shumai and a crab salad special which was delicious. The spicy Ramen was loaded with noodles, pork, semi hard boiled egg and some other stuff. I would say it was a pretty good bowl for its price. Also the two waitresses were super friendly and very attentive

We arrived at noonish and they had 4 tables occupied and it smelled great in there. Nice large booths so we didn't feel cramped and had plenty of room. We started out with an appetizers of edamame and steamed goyoza. The edamame was as expected lightly salted, & fresh. The goyoza was steamed to perfection, excellent taste nice side sweet sauce added the flavor. See image. The wife had the salmon Alvacado roll and volcano roll. She stated the salmon was a nice deep red, which we would expect for a quality sushi grade, and the avocado was aged perfect, not hard, nice and soft and creamy. Her volcano roll she mentioned it was tasty and fresh, the volcano roll her was presented a bit different then other sushi places as it wasn't deep fried with spicy sea leg on top. It showed as a circular plating with crushed panko and the Kani salad on top. We both felt this was much healthier then a deep fried version and she felt it was tasteful and better. See images The kid had the amazing roll, nice plated presentation, the shrimp he said was not overcooked while deep fried and the breading on them was crispy and the tune inside was a excellent color and was a nice cut size, the pepper tuna on top he stated was fresh and sauce and mango & eel sauce was excellent on the sushi and enhanced the flavors. He had the seafood deluxe raman, first time eating raman and ordered it spicy. He stated all the seafood was cooked excellent, the lobster was cooked and cut into bite size chunks and with the spices of the raman, the shrimp, scallops and lobster picked up those flavors and he said was awsome. The learned how to use the raman spoon and roll the raman on his spoon to a nice roll up, and he said the noodles were so soft and he had allot of noodles, his favorite part was the egg and he stated next time he's getting it again, as it was spicy like he requested and it left a wonderful taste upon him. See images I also had the amazing roll and felt the same. In addition I also ordered the Angry dragon roll, the shrimp inside again was cooked to crisp perfection and tast, the tuna inside was a nice deep red and a nice cut portion size.it was topped with spicy crabmeat a nice portion of it to add to the savory flavors along with a nice plating of eel sauce & spicy mayo. Our server Inda? Was so polite and attentive while handling the 4 other tables, she was very friendly and we told her its our first time at the restaurant. My review - ID your looking for a nice clean, friendly restaurant, with friendly staff and excellent sushi, the top grade deep red salmon and perfect tuna along with mouth bursting flavor experience, you need to check out Yuzu. I left feeling Hara Hachi Bu, Even though the ride for us was over and hour, we are adding Yzu to our top tier sushi restaurants that are a must no matter the distance the chef is a Itamae and Gochisousama Deshita For an excellent dishes.

The ones we had in Hawaii had a spicy kick at the end. These were comparably good. One flavor all around. No spicy after kick. The Kalua Pork and Cabbage was spicier than what we had at Hawaii. It actually tasted better. They added ginger and it was spicy. I liked the Taiwanese cabbage better than what we had in Hawaii, which was regular cabbage. The ribeye steak ramen was good as well. It makes me want to try the rib eye entree. I like the black pepper flavor. I took the steak out as soon as it served, so it would not cook anymore in the broth. I was impressed that they made it medium rare. The chicken broth was not too salty, which it can be in other places, so I was pleased that it wasn't. The menma bamboo was crunchy. Many places have it too soft. The black seaweed/wood ear like topping was also crunchy. The wavy ramen noodles were perfectly QQ or all dente. There were two doors to open at the entrance. Handicap accessible. No steps. Two gender neutral restrooms. Spacious. Handicap accessible. We found street parking right out front. We came at 7 PM on a Monday after the dinner rush. Our server was very attentive. He also answered all my questions. I asked it they were Pulehu Ribs. When he did not know, he went to ask his colleague. I would come back for the same dishes, get a bigger order of the short ribs, and try the garlic shrimp. Definitely a new staple for us. Before going to Hawaii, we never had Hawaiian food before. This was a good way to revisit our vacation!
