The ribeye ramen easily rivals any bowl of ramen I've had -- rich, flavorful broth, tender steak, and a very generous portion. It's easily one of the best ramen dishes I've had anywhere. Fans of the Mount Laurel location, we now have a shore location that you'll love too. When I compare ramen places, Rai Rai is my gold standard. Their ramen noodles are perfect. And the broth is full of deep flavor. I had the spicy seafood ramen filled with fish cake, scallops and shrimp. It was spicy and if you want more, add the hot sauce on the table. The boss got her regular fare of ramen with ribeye steak. The steak is seasoned and cooked perfectly. And the portion size is enough for a meal on its own. The kiddo got the combo meal with chicken katsu and miso ramen. Their katsu is so crispy and it's a delight to eat. Service is prompt and very friendly. If you love ramen, look no further. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. To me, the gold standard was Terrakawa in Philadelphia. This is now the platinum standard. The appetizers all looked amazing. We chose the pork buns and takoyaki. Didn't have time to take a pic of the pork buns because we inhaled them. The buns were light, chewy and filled with a generous slice of charsiu pork, the best I've had. Flavorful, tender, fatty, like butter. The takoyaki was also very good. If I told you what was in it, you wouldn't eat it. I got the Akamuru ramen, lightly spicy. 3 slices of charsiu pork, 2 egg slices, perfectly cooked, chewy noodles and the tastiest ramen broth I've had. I don't know what my wife had. This place rocks! I stopped by for a lunch on a busy Sunday. Even though the place was packed, I was seated immediately and service didn't miss a beat. I got my food in a pretty speedy manner. I ordered the Mini Combo with Curry Rice and a bubble tea. This combo is an incredible value. Even though the two entrees are smaller than a full serving, each one is probably big enough to fill the average person. Well, I'm not an average person, I have a big appetite so I was able to finish both my plate and bowl. Both entrees were cooked perfectly. The curry was piping hot and the pork katsu was crispy. Took my family of 4 here for dinner bc I was craving ramen (long story) and found this place here on Yelp. From the outside you might not even know it's there, but don't let that put you off. Once inside we were seated right away and waiter introduced himself. Restaurant is clean and cozy. We ordered some dumplings and pork buns to start . They were both out fast and delicious. Our server gave us menus and the inside of the restaurant smelled so good like ramen. It was just my girlfriend and I and then a few people came in and big parties. For me, I ordered the Ramen and rice katsu combo it was such a good deal!! I recommend getting that! You get a big portion sized ramen and a big portion sized curry and fried katsu rice platter and the taste of the curry for the rice combo was perfectly seasoned and creamy and the rice was cooked well and the chicken was fried perfectly crispy. The service was good very attentive and cleared our dirty plates if we had any and they were also kind enough to split our checks for us. Overall, the food, the service, the ambience was good price range was a little pricey especially the drinks $5 for a little bottle of ramune and boba but the food combos was a good deal so I recommend that give it a try you'll like it! read more

Was super excited to see rai rai ramen open up in south Jersey. We came after randomly discovering that a location opened up and decided to try it out. The place is bright, clean, and inviting. We came on a Saturday night and the place was busy, but we were able to be seated right away. From the start, the waitress was super nice and helpful with our group. We were seated near the door and the waitress actually asked if us we wanted to move since we catch the wind chill when the door opened. We didn't end up moving but really appreciate the gesture. For the food, we ordered 4 different types of ramen, the Japanese fried rice, takoyaki, and fried chicken appetizer. All were so delicious, we even got a tonkatsu ramen to go. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot, everything was seasoned really well. Comparing to other ramen locations in the area, this place is the best by a landslide. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be coming back! Super excited that south Jersey is getting more foodie options. read more
