I got the spicy ramen and I The flavor was a bit bland so I added chili oil to it & it became more flavorful, also tried the beef broth ramen and that was absolutely delicious and hit the spot! The owner/cashier/cook had quick service, working all on his own and the AI ramen photos as decoration was great to laugh at! Would go again!! read more

This is the kind of place you order at the counter and they bring it out so less of a restaurant feel. It's more take out vibes but fine enough to eat in. We had the Pork Chasu Bun, potato pancakes, veggie Tempura Don and Yamitsuki Ramen everything was tasty. Only issue was with the veggies, they were way to large to eat in a single or even 2 bites, it made it annoying to eat. Also, the veggie ramen should be priced lower than the other ramen options. Otherwise, I really liked it and will go back. Definitely worth a try. read more

Authentic Ramen in the LaGrange Area! I had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened Japanese Ramen restaurant today. Located conveniently near my home, this place could quickly become my new favorite spot for a hearty bowl of ramen. But It's the restaurant's grand opening day, and I want to leave a good review. Service: The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and eager to explain the menu offerings. There was a little delay, but I understand it is their first day. Also, they could provide a cup of water. Ambiance: The interior of the restaurant and the restrooms were clean. The simple interior was cozy. The glass window of the main door needs to be cleaned. It's perfect whether you're dining solo, with friends, or with family. Food: The ramen I had today was Sukiyaki Ramen. As a meat lover, the meat in this ramen tasted like Korean bulgogi. I highly recommend this ramen, but the Shrimp Tempura Udon is not recommended. I've tried and reviewed a lot of Japanese restaurants in my life, but I've never found them worth the price. The tempura shrimp tasted like frozen food from the food depot and not homemade. The menu has four udon noodles, but I won't even try the rest. Price: Compared to other Asian Japanese restaurants based on flavor and quality, it is expensive. However, it's their first day, so I'm sure they'll improve. Overall: The udon was definitely not good, but the ramen was excellent. I will return at least once more to try their other ramen dishes. Hopefully, I will be more impressed on my next visit. This place was pretty good! My boyfriend and I tried it out for a date night. It's definitely a quaint place but it wasn't busy when we went so it didn't bother us! We got the pork chasu buns as an appetizer which were simple but really good! Then I got the BBQ chicken rice Don, which was good but the chicken itself was underwhelming to me. The pork was definitely better! My boyfriend got the miso ramen and he said it was the best thing he's ever had. I'd definitely come back to try more! read more

Service is usually decent and no real issues except for grandma, I'm not sure what's happening with her but just pray for her well being! This place was absolutely packed! People were really anticipating this place tonight during the grand opening. The wait time - long but understandable. The food - ok but needs work. The buns were skimpy on meat and my ramen needed a little oomph. The huge nori pieces were difficult to eat and needed to be shredded. Takoyaki was soggy despite coming straight out of kitchen. I'd say if you really want ramen but don't feel like going all the way to the highlands for a 5-star bowl, this would be a decent place to go. read more

First thing first.....it was DELICIOUS. You wouldn't expect it from the decor but the ramen, the BEST. Flavorful and it actually came out hot, not warm but hot. the milk teas were great as well. It was made from powder like all the milk teas in town but it didn't have that grainy powder taste like everyone else. Must Try, get the sukiyaki ramen, spicy or tonkotsu. read more

The spicy pork noodles was really good , my husband had got the spicy chicken noodles in my opinion the chicken tasted better than the pork and was way more flavorful, the noodles wasn't too spicy but just right ! The service was good the food came out pretty quick didn't have to wait long , the place was clean and had a very homey feel , the only thing is it was kinda pricy for two bowls and a coke and tea , and I wish they had a baby changing spot in their bathroom! While they do have paper menus the first thing you see is the QR code to access the menu. It has a quick service feel to it. You order at the counter and then you find a seat. It seems like they are still learning, but things were resolved quickly. They bring your order to you and they clear your table when you are finished. For the price (which is very reasonable), the food was what you might expect. It was good, but not extraordinary. Please keep in mind, I lived in Japan for a year and I have lived in major cities for parts of my adult life. It filled my craving for Japanese food and my husband liked his spicy ramen. He reports that it was just the perfect spice level. Food came out reasonably quickly and it was hot and fresh. We are definitely short on restaurants and particularly ethnic restaurants in the general Crestwood area and it is a welcome addition. We will return happily and hope you will give it a try as well. The service here is quick and the ramen is fine. The ambience is meh. I think the tonkatsu ramen is probably their best tasting ramen after sampling some of the others. The chashu pork in the ramen was a little tough though (I'm used to it being melt in your mouth soft). Overall, Ive had better in louisville. However, if you live in the local vicinity of the place then it might be fine to get a ramen fix there. Still a bit pricey for what you get and probably wont make an extensive trip to come back. read more
