I told them how much higher they were than their compeitor and haggled a bit on the price. He said he'd talk to his boss and call me back. No call back, so I called and said I'll pay their price. I decided it was worth the extra money to get it done same day. I show up 5 min early and I'm the only person in the lobby. No one says a word to me or even looks at me. After a couple min, I say something to the guy in the lobby so he knows I'm the guy there for the appt (he already knew). I sit there for another 15 min while he makes phone calls and carries on with business like there isn't someone there for an appt. Needless to say, after 20 min of sitting there, I left as it was obvious they were doing me this way on purpose. If you didn't want my business say so. Having me waste an hour of my afternoon was pretty uncool. Felt like I was in JR High all over again. If you want to save yourself an experience like this and a lot of money, take your business to Grain Valley Muffler. Side note: I tried to talk myself out of leaving this review. Couldn't do it. You don't treat customers this way. I'll match your pettiness.

Back in the spring I had my car towed to this place which alone cost me $150. This was after waiting two weeks for an appointment and providing a list of items to look at. THIS, is the place you want to repair your car!!! Seriously, I can't say anything negative about…read morethis business!!! I wondered by their high ratings with so many people reviewing them how on earth they can maintain a 5 start rating‽ It was hard to believe. But, now I know why they have so many 5 star ratings. We took our Chrysler Sebring to them to repair. Our particular model is very difficult to work on. You have to remove one of the front tires just to replace the battery, and then, you have to remove the radiator to replace the alternator, and then take off the timing chain to replace the water pump... etc... you get the idea. So, we knew it needed a battery and alternator. The car sat motionless on our back patio for about 3 years. All the while, unbeknownst to us, the squirrels were having a feast under the hood. They quoted us $1100 plus for all the work that needed done and that was a fair quote. So we had the car towed to their shop. After 3 weeks (We were in NO hurry), we got a call stating that the car was ready to pick up, and that we'd only owe them a bit over $500. Without going into details, I'll say this shop is one of the most forthright and honest repair shops we've ever dealt with. We'll be bringing ALL of our vehicles to this place in the future. And we'll highly recommend this place to ask of our friends. I wouldn't go anywhere else if I were you!!!
