    Salmon Teriyaki Lunch (no sauce)
    Rommel A.

Just passing through going to Tahoe and wanted Sushi when we came across this spot. We came here once last year coming home from Tahoe and enjoyed enough to come back. My little one has allergies to soy, gluten, and shellfish and they were able to accommodate her. We ordered her the Salmon teriyaki (no teriyaki sauce and rice. She enjoyed it very much. They even made the chopstick kid friendly by wedging a wrapped up chopstick paper and a rubberband. My daughter had fun with it. We didn't order much variety so I can't confidently say if everything was fresh or previously frozen, but it was so good that I could care less. I got the Crossings roll and my wife got the Triple tuna roll. Basically the same thing, but the tuna had 3 types of tuna and the Crossings had tuna, Shrimp and Salmon. So good we ordered another Triple Tuna roll. The filipino server was awesome. Friendly, easy to approach and knowledgable about the menu. Whether you're passing through or from the area and want sushi, my wife and I enjoyed the Crossings and Triple Tuna Roll. I hope this place is here for a long time.

First experience dining at Oki Sushi. It was Friday and almost all their tables were full. The place was a lil' small. I went as a party of 3, and we ordered two bentos and 2 rolls. The bento was great with the basic assortments, the beef teriyaki was tender. It took a while to get my 2 rolls, that the two people I was with already/almost finished their food before my rolls arrived. 3.5 star experience, but the servers were friendly

For lunch, my client and I agreed on sushi since we were finishing up some shopping nearby. It is gorgeous in here. There is a large blossom tree on one wall. A good size model ship on another one. The light fixtures are catchy. It looks very modern with the dark walls and large TV. We sat down right away and took time reading over every roll. We both love salmon and my client was telling me to pick her roll. So we both got the same one, salmon and lemon on top, and deep fried shrimp, cream cheese, and cucumber inside a seaweed wrapped roll. As we waited, we drank our ice cold waters on this hot day. When our rolls arrived, they seemed smaller than other places I have been to. They tasted great! Since we only got one roll, I also had a salmon hand roll. You usually can't go wrong there. I felt like that hand roll was packed with a good amount of salmon, a few avocado slices, wrapped with rice and seaweed paper. It was served beautifully on a unique looking plate. Our server was very friendly. She kept our water cups filled and checked on us a couple times. I will be back to try a different roll sometime soon!

Food here was great! All the sushi was fresh and delicious. I ordered three rolls to share with my sister. All three were tasty. The service was good. They have the best ice! The space is tight but they did a good job making the most of it.

Very yummy and fresh food. I was on lunch break and the food was prepared very fast and service was good so I appreciate that when in a hurry. The staff were extremely welcoming and were good at explaining the menu for people who didn't know what to order. The food had perfect portions and price was decent. The atmosphere had a modern vibe to it and was very nice. Super spacious considering the small building. Would come back!

Food: excellent sushi quality. Not too big or not too small. I recommend the nigiri if you can get it! Fresh washabi ontop of the nigiri :P special rolls were also excellent and definitely met expectations. Service: very polite and understanding. Gave us enough help and enough space for my fiancé and me to enjoy our rolls. Ambiance: feels like a hole in the wall. Amazing food and great vibe going on here. Parking lot is easy to use and locate. Definitely recommend! Coming here more often when I'm in

The Mexican chef was talking to a girl the hole time on his phone. Two orders of rolls took 39 minutes.

First time visit this past week we had a couple of bento boxes and two sushi rolls. Everything was served at just the right temperature. They were all good size servings and everything tasted fresh and delicious. There's plenty of parking out in front the restaurants a little bit small inside, but there were enough. The waitress was polite and attentive will be back.

We ordered an $8 oyster shooter, most come with either hot sake or cold sake, theirs was room temperature, a little roe, tiny oyster in a very tiny one shot glass. It took 30 minutes before it was served. We also ordered sea salt edamane, stuffed jalapeños, sunomono salad. The cucumber salad was very good, the edamane looked like they had been frozen then defrosted and served, and the stuffed jalapeños tasted off, we ate them, 4 total. My wife ordered a spider roll, it had a strong gamy taste like a lower grade fish that was used. My wife tried two pieces, swallowed the first and spit the second into her napkin, to her it was awful. I ordered the Shashimi Regular, that came with a small salad and miso soup, they were both good, I received the shashimi last, long after the spider roll; it was interesting, but the fish was more of a class C instead of a class A. Their prices were class A and the fish didn't meet that expectation. It was an $84.50 meal but didn't meet the expectations of a class A sushi meal. The waitress was very professional and asked us about the meal, we were honest and she took the spider roll off the bill. She offered an other roll but by then my wife was done. My wife declined the offer. The restaurant's ambiance was modern and very nice. I would not recommend eating here to my friends.

The ambiance is beautiful, especially the massive chandelier in the center of the room. I ordered the 12-piece sashimi dish ($31), and the salmon was the standout; it was glistening, juicy, and incredibly fresh. I also appreciated that the miso soup was included; it had a perfect consistency and wasn't overly salty. However, the side salad was a bit of a letdown, it was quite bland and barely had dressing. That said, the service was so good that I'll definitely be back.

Our server greeted us right away and was very sweet and attentive. You could tell she was still in training, but everything went smoothly. The only small thing I would suggest is having more napkins at the table, since we were only given one per plate and ended up needing a few more during the meal. We had originally reserved a tatami table, but quickly realized it wasn't the best fit for our group since we had some older people with knee pain. Just a heads up, the tatami seating does not have recessed flooring. Luckily, we were able to adjust to a regular table. Once we were settled, we looked through the menu and ordered a double toro roll, a wagyu roll, and a dinner bento with unagi-don. Happy to report everything we ordered was delicious! The double toro was very fresh and refreshing, and the wagyu roll had a rich, savory flavor that reminded us of a yummy steak. We enjoyed every bite. I was especially impressed with my bento box. The presentation was beautiful and the portions were very generous. The bento came with steamed egg, a fresh garden salad, assorted tempura, and unagi-don. Everything in the box tasted great. The tempura was light and crispy, and the unagi was savory and satisfying with egg ribbons in the rice. I think it might be one of the best bento boxes I've had in a long time. Overall, we had a great experience at Azayaka Japanese Fusion. The food was delicious, the service was warm, and we would definitely come back to try more dishes.

First, I want to say the chef was younger, but he put alot of care and effort into each dish, so he should definitely be acknowledged. However, as soon as we walked in, there was no greeting from both of the female servers, only cold stares. Many servers do not give great service to younger tables and assume they won't tip. This occurred throughout our dining experience and we didn't feel welcomed at all. Our table also wasn't the biggest and there was no pre-bussing done to clear our dining space. Also, as a recent graduate, I brought my cap to receive a $15 gift card for their promotion. Instead, she gave a "neighborhood" discount (10% off which made it $10 off). I didn't mention anything since I did not feel like coming back to this location. Then I looked at the receipt, wrote a 20% tip, but this was where I felt scammed. It's difficult to explain and I wish I took a picture, but please check your math on the suggested tip. Total with discount: $98 Previous Total: $108 Suggested Tip: 20% = $20 and Suggested Total: $128 I don't mind tipping $20, but the suggested total would include a $30 tip? I don't know if it's intentional and the server wanted to pocket the discount as her tip, but it did not feel fair. We had two younger kids with us and I didn't want them to notice, so we just left after paying. We been to the Sacramento location many times, but their Roseville location was disappointing. Horrible service.

The tempura was light and not greasy at all. I liked that they served the teriyaki sauce separately so you can control how much sauce is on the chicken based on your preference. Our rolls were served with a little spicy mayo and I believe eel sauce on the side of the plate ( nice touch! The first thing I noticed was the quality and generosity of the food. Unlike many sushi restaurants, they don't skimp on the fish or the rolls. Every dish was beautifully presented, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. The lobster tempura was perfectly seasoned with a light, crispy batter. The Liz Roll actually delivered on the spice (which is rare these days), and the sashimi was cut thick, buttery, and incredibly fresh. If you're an oyster lover, don't skip the fresh oysters--6 for $28 is a great deal. Their Happy Hour menu also offers plenty of delicious options, making it easy to sample a variety of dishes without breaking the bank. Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday from 5-9 PM, so expect a crowd. During our visit, it seemed they may have been a bit short-staffed, and our food took longer than expected to arrive. Hopefully that's just part of the growing pains of a popular new restaurant. The only thing I'd love to see is a patio. With Granite Bay's beautiful evenings, outdoor seating with a few cooling misters would make this place even more enjoyable while waiting for a table or lingering over sushi and drinks. Thankfully, they do offer a Yelp waitlist, which makes the wait much more manageable. The staff remained friendly, welcoming, and appreciative despite how busy they were, which says a lot. Overall, the quality of the food easily outweighed the wait. Fresh fish, generous portions, creative rolls, and a solid Happy Hour make this a place I'll happily return to again and again. Looking forward to seeing this hidden gem continue to thrive!

I had already decided I was going to leave a smaller tip because of the service, but when the bill arrived, I noticed that gratuity is automatically added for parties of six or more. That honestly made the experience even more frustrating. I really dislike automatic-gratuity policies like this because there's no longer much incentive for the server to provide great service, the tip is guaranteed regardless. The ambiance was quiet, clean, and welcoming. The staff was courteous, friendly, and attentive, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food itself did not meet our expectations. I would rate it about a 4/10. I've had much better and more authentic ramen and sushi elsewhere. The meat in my ramen had an unpleasant taste that seemed old, and both the noodles and broth lacked flavor. I'm not sure whether this was due to the quality of the ingredients or a lack of attention to preparation, but the overall experience was disappointing. We were a party of five, and honestly, no one had a "wow" moment with their meal. The general consensus at the table was that the food simply wasn't very enjoyable. Several of us did not finish our meals because we weren't satisfied with the taste. That said, I wanted to give this restaurant a fair chance because we've passed by it so many times and didn't want to judge it without trying it ourselves. I have noticed that it often seems fairly empty, and after this visit, I can better understand why. I genuinely wish this establishment the best and hope they can improve the quality of their food.
