I like our experience with NOMA. It satisfied our want for some sushi and bento box. The salad in the bento box is delicious, beef and chicken was delicious. The sushi was good too. We left satisfied. The service is great. The place is clean and we got seated pretty quickly when we got there.

We were very happy with our first visit to NOMA. NOMA is tucked away in a little, unassuming strip-mall. It's not super big and has a comfortable, causal atmosphere. Service is super friendly and quick. The food was solidly tasty. It's incredibly convenient if you live/work in the area and really the closest Japanese option by far. Definitely recommend paying them a visit and will plan to return myself! We opted for 2 different Ramens and also tried the sesame chicken Sushi. The ramens were both really tasty and portion sizes were good, not absolutely massive but large. I opted for the spicy beef and my husband for the black garlic. Both had totally distinctive flavor profiles and were equally good, just depends on which you like more. The broth was rich and hearty, the meat was decent quality, and it had plenty of noodles with a good amount of other "toppings". The spicy beef was definitely fairly spicy as advertised, but not crazy. It isn't the "best" ramen in roseville/rocklin area, but it was very good and is so much closer that it'll become a go-to for us I'm sure! I was super excited to see they offered a cooked chicken sushi as I am severely allergic to shellfish which makes most sushi a no-go due to the frequent use of crab inside. This was entirely fish-free and quite tasty! It's definitely not classic sushi, so I can't speak to their sushi at all otherwise but I love being able to enjoy a roll sometimes :) As stated, service was fast and friendly. We had no wait at all and I don't get the impression that there's a wait very often. The atmosphere is really casual for a sit down restaurant, but they do full service meaning you order at the table, they'll refill waters, etc. They also seem to do a decent to-go business. Inside was nice and comfortable temperature and clean. Parking is super easy in the strip-mall and totally free.

Our to-go place for Japanese/Korean food presently. Close to home, good service and good food. They have your usual bento boxes, rolls, ramen and also Korean dishes like bibimbap. Convenient location, plenty of parking, reasonable prices. Back when we first moved to the area, it was a Bambu but then that closed and we didn't come to the new establishment much. But in the last year or two, we've stopped by here a handful of times and have had good experiences. Brought friends here too and they enjoyed it also. Something on the menu for everyone.

Good options for the Bento Boxes [Rocklin CA] This was my second visit at NOMA, the first time was a takeout order a while back. I was able to finally have a dine-in experience and give a review. We had dinner here on a weekday, business was slow. Nice ambiance with a couple of flatscreen TV's. Mom loves Japanese food, which was why we chose this place... didn't matter that we just had an AYCE sushi birthday celebration the day before. Ahhh! Anyway, we ordered bento boxes. I chose a 3-Item Bento Box - beef teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, and mixed tempura. It was served with miso soup, house salad and rice. The Kewpie salad dressing was so good. Also loved the tangy, rich, and sweet flavors on the teriyaki salmon and tender beef. The lightly battered mixed tempura was not oily and crispy. The dipping sauce (Tentsuyu) added flavors. Lastly, the prices were great and very reasonable. $21.95 for a three item bento. Excellent service. We didn't order any sushi so, unfortunately, I can't comment on its taste or its freshness. It was a hot day for ramen so have to come back for it another time. Review #3465

Wow... we are excited to have a new "go to" place! We will be back for sure! And hopefully soon! The food was delicious and we had new choices we've not ever had... the service was great... and quick! Cool vibe too!

Ordered the garlic Raman bowl and the rainbow, ate the roll as an appetizer and it was great! The jalapeño pepper gave it the perfect spice the black garlic Raman bowl was off the chart! Great broth, noodles cooked perfectly and slurping the entire dish to empty! A definite winner and another visit here!! This is definitely the number one ramen house we have been to since we moved to the greater Sacramento area !

Noma Sushi and Ramen is one of the best restaurants around in the Rocklin/Roseville area! The food and service is always 5 stars and you will leave feeling full and happy at a very fair price! I highly recommend you give this place a try!

This place has delicious ramen, great service, and is a nice laid-back restaurant. The prices were good. The flavors were enjoyable. The Tan Tan Men ramen is spicy, but not too spicy. The Black Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen has a good umami flavor. The lady who served us was also very nice. The Ramen was very filling. I recommend this place to others.

I used to love this place, has gone way downhill. Ordered 4 chicken teriyaki entrees, spent over $80 and the food was burnt, dry, and lacking any flavor. I called to report our concerns and the server's response was "oh okay, I'll let them know" and hung up. If this is the way you treat your customers then you should leave our community. I'm so disappointed and won't be going back.

Whenever I'm near either location I make a point to stop by to enjoy a meal or pick up take out to enjoy at home. While a fresh bowl of ramen in the restaurant is always the best experience, their take-out options are packed well and reheat nicely. I'll often warm up ramen the day after I pick it up and it's such a nice treat to have at home. The Lincoln location has plenty of parking and once you're inside you head up to the kiosks to order for dine in or carry out. Definitely take a look through the menu, they have a variety of ramen options, including soupless ramen, rice bowls, and appetizers. They also have a variety of drinks, and I noticed on my recent visit that this Lincoln location has alcoholic options. My favorite order is their spicy tonkatsu ramen- the broth is so rich, there's a perfect amount of spice, and it hits every mark for me. Honestly, I didn't truly appreciate good ramen until I tried Umami Ramen and now this is the standard that I judge all other ramens by. We also typically order their karaage chicken and I pick up and onigiri or two (the tuna is my favorite). Everything on the menu is great though and I'd recommend trying anything that sounds yummy at the moment. There is plenty of seating and I love that the restaurant is decorated with plenty of fun posters, art, and even figurines to look at. They also have a shopping area for Japanese snacks, toys, drinks, desserts and a claw machine. A pro tip is to check out their specials- when I visited they had a $25 special for a small appetizer, ramen, and drink. It was a great deal! They also have the option to adjust your ramen by leaving off certain items or ordering extras- I usually get extra bamboo shoots for $2 (it's a generous portion of them) and their eggs are AMAZING- if you're a fan it's definitely worth ordering an extra. The staff here is also so kind, if you're having trouble deciding they're happy to help and can ring you up if your prefer ordering with them. They also always make sure I have water when I dine in and pack my to-go orders with such care. I highly recommend both of Umami Ramen's locations and hope they open a third closer to me so I can go all the time. For now, I'm happy to travel though!

The broth here is rich, bold, and packed with flavor...some might find it intense, but for me it's a total chef's kiss. You can choose thick or thin noodles, and I always go for the thick ones because I love that extra bounce. I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen because garlic is one of my love languages. My husband went for the Spicy Tonkotsu and was sweating bullets by the end of the meal, but he still cleaned his bowl! The chashu pork was a little dry on this visit, but the broth, noodles, and all the toppings still made for a delicious and satisfying meal. Bonus: They're currently offering FREE gyoza with every ramen order! If you're looking for a hearty, flavorful bowl of ramen, check them out. Just don't question my decision to eat hot soup during a heat wave.

According to one of the nice servers, this business has been running since 2012, or for over a decade, and the food clearly shows this experience. This Chinese restaurant has everything from friendly staff and service to a delicious meal topped with perfectly plated condiments. It is located in the perfect place to not spend seemingly hours looking for parking and includes only a 30-second walk from your car, making it easily accessible. The restaurant was clean, and even fellow customers were friendly, which helped give this restaurant a great homey feel. I loved the atmosphere and pleasant impression and would truly suggest that you pay it a visit. Starting off strong, here are the top five things I loved about Yoshi Ramen and Sushi: The amazing atmosphere, the high quality of the food, the presentation of the meal, the kindness of the servers, and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Each of these things blew me out of the water and gave me an overall great experience while eating. To start out, each aspect I took note of seemed better than the last. I started off by thinking the service was really nice, then I got to the actual food, and it seemed even better. This restaurant is also great for family dinners, as it gave me a chance to catch up with my siblings and take a break from my busy schedule. During my visit, the overall experience was wonderful; however, it was a little bit expensive, or around $20 for a bowl of ramen, and the food took a while to arrive. Though a bit pricey, the ramen came with many add-ins, such as egg, seaweed, and meat, making the price worth it. And the long wait was actually exactly what I needed to have good conversations with my family, as I have mentioned before. Once we did receive the food, however, it was worth the wait, and we all chowed down on our delicious, perfectly cooked ramen. This restaurant's hours were also the perfect time for a brunch, lunch, or dinner, giving you the option to have sushi any time and almost every day of the week. From 11:30am to 3pm, this restaurant runs its ramen factory delight before taking a break and then resuming the delicious business from 5pm to 8pm every day except for Wednesday, in which they are off. Moving on to the best part of the restaurant: The actual taste and texture of the food. I ordered the Yoshi Ramen, and after waiting, I was served a beautifully arranged bowl of ramen topped with many different add-ons and ingredients. It had a very mellow and soft texture with a very pleasant and almost sweet aroma. The add-ons were soft from the broth and tasted amazing mixed in with the ramen. The ramen was perfectly cooked and a complete level up from the cup of noodles I am so used to having at home. Overall the food itself was amazing, and I can't wait to go back soon. From the texture and taste of the food to the friendly service, I was so happy with this restaurant. I love ramen, and getting the chance to taste the real deal was a great experience. The calming feel of the restaurant and the attentiveness of the servers made my meal even more enjoyable and led me to believe that Yoshi Ramen and sushi truly do care about their customers. Overall, I was pleased with each aspect of this restaurant and can't wait for my next visit. I recommend this restaurant to all looking for a tasty meal with friendly service and delicious ramen and sushi!

The cucumber salad was very good, the edamane looked like they had been frozen then defrosted and served, and the stuffed jalapeños tasted off, we ate them, 4 total. My wife ordered a spider roll, it had a strong gamy taste like a lower grade fish that was used. My wife tried two pieces, swallowed the first and spit the second into her napkin, to her it was awful. I ordered the Shashimi Regular, that came with a small salad and miso soup, they were both good, I received the shashimi last, long after the spider roll; it was interesting, but the fish was more of a class C instead of a class A. Their prices were class A and the fish didn't meet that expectation. It was an $84.50 meal but didn't meet the expectations of a class A sushi meal. The waitress was very professional and asked us about the meal, we were honest and she took the spider roll off the bill. She offered an other roll but by then my wife was done.
