    Crispy roll
    Bill D.

I went here with a couple friends on Wednesday Oct. 18th 2023 around 7pm. We were seated promptly and our waiter Michael came to our table immediately to get our drink orders. I have only one complaint and it is a small one: the only tea they have is green tea, I was hoping for Oolong but it's ok. I ordered the General Tso's chicken bowl with fried rice and with crispy rolls. The chicken was excellent, with a sweet and little spice tang to it, plenty of sauce to soak the rice, and a very substantial portion size for the price. The bowl came with a small side salad and choice of sushi rolls, which I ordered the crispy rolls. Now the rolls themselves tasted ok but they put way too much sesame seed on then, which took away most of the flavor and added a horrible texture. The green tea was weak and not very satisfying to complement the meal. My friend had the spicy salmon rolls and they also were excellent, and my new favorite. Our server Michael was great. All in all I enjoyed the experience and will return with different expectations.

I consider this restaurant to be a fusion type of hibachi and Chinese cuisine. We came as a larger party of 12 around 9:00pm on a Friday and there were able to accommodate our party as the restaurant was not super busy. Once seated our server came over promptly to greet us and take our drink orders. Giving us a few minutes she came back to take our orders. I chose the spring rolls and the chicken and salmon hibachi with fried rice. The meal comes with salad also and I chose the ginger dressing for mine. The salad was just Ok however due to the dressing being watery. I enjoyed the spring rolls that came out out nice and crispy and 3 different dipping sauces that i tried all together and enjoyed. My entree came and i was disappointed at the portion size of the chicken (i was told it come with 4oz) and i was not a fair of the vegetables mix which had mostly cabbage, broccoli and carrots which is different from what i normally have served with hibachi style meals so i was expecting and want zucchini, mushrooms, onions, etc. i consider this restaurant to be more of a fusion because other guest were able to order items like general Taos chicken and sesame chicken for there entrees. Overall it was the service that made the experience good.

This place is AMAZING ! I've never had a bad meal here . I'm hoping the "boss lady" sushi roll becomes part of the menu because it is by far my FAVORITE!

Come one come all sushi lovers because their sushi is tremendously good. This place has great service and also does takeout. I've been going here for years and I always love going there for dinner. The food is at a fair price and it's really, really good. I would 100% recommended going to this Okinawa in Cartersville. 10/10

Went in at a little after 3. I would advise going earlier or late. My wife's sushi was left on the table, she said it had been sitting for awhile. Her steak bowl was half full of water. I ordered a "dinner" portion of chicken teriyaki to get a larger portion. I got half a head of cabbage and not much chicken.

We've been to Zen Ramen and Sushi Burrito multiple times, and it's always a fantastic experience…read more The ramen here is outstanding. I've tried the Tonkotsu Kamikaze, which has a nice kick of spice and an incredibly flavorful broth. The chashu pork is always moist and perfectly cooked, and the egg is one of my favorite toppings. It's just delicious. I've also tried the Tonkotsu Black, which uses a black garlic oil to give the broth a unique and delicious twist. It's not spicy, just rich and flavorful in a different way, and honestly, I can't choose between the two. They're both fantastic depending on whether you're in the mood for a bit of heat or not. On the sushi burrito side, the Dancing Sushi Burrito is a must-try. It's basically a giant sushi roll loaded with tuna, shrimp tempura, salmon, cream cheese, lettuce, cucumber, avocado, edamame, wasabi sauce, and eel sauce. It might sound a bit unusual, but it's absolutely delicious. Once I realized it wasn't actually wrapped in a tortilla like a normal burrito, I was all in, and I can't recommend it enough. I always make my ramen a combo so I can add either the chicken karaage or the fried pork gyoza. Both are fantastic. The karaage is super crispy with a great dipping sauce, and the gyoza comes with a unique and delicious sauce I've never had anywhere else. If you go with someone, I'd suggest getting both and trying each other's sauces because they're both so good. Service is often very good as well. The servers are incredibly kind and attentive. We've never had any issues. In fact, they've recognized us as regulars on a few visits and even thanked us for coming in, which was a really nice and personal touch. Overall, Zen Ramen and Sushi Burrito is a place we keep coming back to for good reason. Great food, plenty of flavorful options, and definitely worth a visit!

I ordered the steak & chicken hibachi with double rice in the place of veggies. I asked for a lot of yum yum sauce and teriyaki sauce. Our waitress brought over a container of Yum Yum and three decent sized bowls of teriyaki sauce. It was perfect! My wife had sushi (she's particular about her sushi) and she said this was the best she's had in a long time. She said you could tell it was fresh. She was particularly impressed that the volcano roll actually looked like a volcano and had shredded crab and all on top of the actual sushi rolls. She must have enjoyed it, because walked up to the sushi bar and complimented the sushi chef. Kobe has two dining options, you can choose to do the hibachi style with the chef preparing your food in front of you or you can choose the "dine in" option. We chose to "dine in" and were seated on the right side of the restaurant. The hibachi tables are all on the left side. Kobe is a nice, clean place. You can tell they take pride in the restaurant. My wife enjoyed that each table has its own little lamp. Our waitress told us they are a small business, not part of some chain. They also order their fish and other stuff for the sushi bar every other day to ensure freshness. She told us they had actually received a delivery that day where they ordered several thousand dollars worth of fish, etc. Give Kobe a try, I promise you won't be disappointed!

The pros: the servers were nice, i had no wait despite many seated tables and fast service with my food and drinks coming out quickly. Nice drink selection. The okay: i got a rainbow roll it was packed with a good amount of imitation crab, the quality was maybe a step above grocery store. Nothing special or high quality. The meh: the Wow bao is a chicken bun, first i will say the bun was crispy, the sauce was nice but the chicken tasted like a microwaved patty from a school lunch cafeteria. Took me back to Senior year of high school. Would not buy again. Its okay maybe if i went for all you can eat or something where quantity not quality was the goal i would think differently

There's not a lot of places that have AYCE sushi in Georgia, so I'm really glad we found this…read morespot. The AYCE rolls selection isn't the biggest, but there's all the basics plus a little extra (unless you want uni, then you're outta luck). They have a good variety of small dishes/appetizers, and all of those were surprisingly good. The chicken skewers and chicken bites were tender and juicy, and you can't go wrong with things like edamame and seaweed salad. Another plus were the rolls--they were small but mighty; plus, i prefer small rolls over giant ones if its AYCE. There's a good chunk of topping and the thinnest wrapping of rice around the sushi--toppings are also avocado heavy, which I know some people prefer. I also like that there's actual crab salad in the rolls and not just a block of kani--that extra bit of effort to make the crab salad goes a long way in terms of adding texture and flavor to rolls. The nigiri, on the other hand, had a lot of rice and a thin slice of fish--luckily, it's AYCE so you just eat your bite and move onto the rolls, but this will be disappointing for nigiri lovers. Service was okay--I feel like our waitress was serving 75% of the restaurant so she was either across the room or in the kitchen most of the time. When we did see her though, she was all smiles and very friendly. This is the best AYCE sushi joint we've have in Georgia so far so I'll definitely be back!
