If you're in Greensboro and looking for food trucks, please visit Conn's Furniture and Appliances…read moreparking lot on Gate City Blvd. This is a one stop shop for all types of cuisines. I have visited many of the trucks, so this visit I decided to try Ebony's original Fish Fry. I was very pleased with what I received. Great customer service. The gentleman who served me was nice and made helpful suggestions. I went with a 6pc shrimp and fried okra that came with a drink. The guy suggested homemade lemonade. This was $9, good for food truck prices. I placed my order and was given a beeper, this allowed me to sit in my car rather than wait outside. When my food was ready, the gentleman who assisted me opened the box to let me see my order. I couldn't resist I grabbed a few okra. Big mistake!! Because I couldn't stop eating them! They were hot and fresh! I almost had them polished off by the time I got home. The shrimp may have been previously frozen but they were cooked hot and crispy. I was surprised by a little side of coleslaw. I believe the slaw was store bought. I tried it and didn't care for it. The lemonade had an aftertaste similar to that of Crystal Lite. It's still in my refrigerator. Overall, I would recommend this food truck. The service was nice, the food was hot and fresh, and the price was good for what I would consider a snack or lite lunch.

My wife and I attended the Wake Forest California football game last Friday night. While the game…read morewas exciting, the highlight of the night for us was our dinner. We cruised the concessions throughout the stadium and ended up at the food trucks that are located at the open end of the stadium. There were over ten trucks there and we decided to try "Ebony's Fish Fry". Simply said, Ebony's had the best food truck food that we have ever had and trust me, we have had a lot. Ramel and Angel McCann are the owners, Ramel does the cooking and Angel is the "personality." Since the game began at 8:00 pm they were serving dinner food. Neither of us had ever had whiting fish so Angel gave us a sample. The fish was moist with great flavor and the breading was perfect. It was not greasy, but crisp with a wonderful flavor. We order the whiting fish sandwich, while Lisa had fried okra and I had onion rings. Both sides were superb. The dinner menu is attached. If you see them at a function, eat there, and you will not be disappointed. If you are sponsoring an event that can use a food truck, give them a call. Your guests will be very pleased.

I got to try this food truck because it was at wiseman brewery the other day & I'm so glad I did…read morebecause it was delicious! I love yuca and I've never had yuca with rosemary & garlic oil but it was as delicious as I could imagine. They were oily of course because of the garlic oil but the flavor was great. I also had the beef empanadas and they were really good too. They're the perfect size & the breading tastes really fresh. I also loved the seasoning in the empanada. The dipping sauce paired perfectly with both the yuca and empanadas. My friend got a sandwich and I didn't try it but she really enjoyed it too. The service was good - food came out pretty quickly even though it was crowded! This is definitely a food truck I'll be on the lookout for again!

The Cubano was everything it should be. Made with golden bread pressed to perfection. Inside, the layers of roasted pork and ham were stacked. Made just right too. The melted Swiss cheese keeps it from falling apart. The pickles and mustard cut through the rich flavor by adding a slight tang. Every bite was comfort for the soul. I paired it with an NZ Pils from Joymongers and it was heaven. The beef empanadas were just as good. Inside, the seasoned beef was 100% flavorful. They weren't greasy and went well with the specialty sauce. Together, they made for a satisfying meal... it was enough to make me keep a lookout for their next Greensboro stop. Cheers!

I finally tried it and so glad I did!…read more First and foremost, the place is clean which is extremely important to me. Items I tried: crunchy roll and steak noodles that includes veggies and also comes with a soup or salad. I choose salad with ginger dressing. Pros - clean establishment - sushi was absolutely delicious - my steak was cooked to perfection. They made it exactly how I asked for it - ginger dressing is absolutely delicious - large portions. Enough for at least 3 meals Cons - my friend and I were not greeted when we first came in. I noticed that most others said in their review that the staff greeted them and were very friendly. We were not greeted. In fact, I had to speak first. I pay attention to things like this. - white sauce is not good to me at all. It is not the usual white sauce flavor you get at other hibachi establishments. I am returning soon and will try a couple new things and update this review of necessary. UPDATE: I've gone back 2 more times. Excellent customer service, great sushi, the white sauce was a little bit better, but still not my thing...too thick...too sweet...too much mayo. Springs rolls are gd. Crab rangoon gd.
