I ordered the jerk mac and cheese and the flavors were really good but boy was it salty! I'd love to try it again but maybe a different flavor. I've had it from the food truck before and it was amazing. So I believe it's still a good restaurant to try. There is more so a waiting area than sitting so if you come, I would suggest taking it to go.

We stopped by their brick and mortar location about 4pm on a Saturday which is located at 5002 High Point Road in Greensboro. They have limited hours. They are closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and open from 2pm to 8pm the rest of the week. We were very surprised when we walked inside. It was nothing like we anticipated. There were no tables. It is located in a small strip mall where everything looks similar on the front with the signs above the establishments. We actually thought we walked into the wrong place, the walls were black with chairs around the perimeter and the center completely open. There were a couple of framed Chicago Bulls posters on the wall and one TV mounted on the wall near them. There were three posters with inspirational messages on them and a drink cooler. Someone came to the counter shortly after we walked inside. All items are packaged to-go. The menu was on the counter where you place your order with the register next to it. After checking out the menu, we thought the prices were high but we had anticipated that based on other reviews. We each decided on The Original Mac for $15 each. We had a seat at two of the chairs against the wall. No one else entered or left while we were there. Less than 15 minutes after we placed our order, we were provided with our to go order. The bag felt very heavy and we proceeded to our car to check them out. After opening and distributing everything which was very nicely packaged, we opened the containers. The top was a little hard as if it had been baked in an oven. After breaking through the top, the inside was very creamy with hot penne pasta mac and cheese and bacon crumbles. It was delicious! This is some of the best mac and cheese we have had. Although this was pretty amazing, the cost feels like too much for the masses and the physical location definitely needs some work. We may be back, but this will not be a regular visit. There are too many other places out there to try.

First off, this isn't just a random food truck. There is such an incredible story behind it. It's run by Gary and his best friend Alex, who have been friends since grade school back in Mexico City, Mexico!! You can feel that deep history in the way they run their business. There's a level of trust, energy, and authenticity that you don't usually see, and it trickles down to the entire team!!!Every employee I interacted with was genuinely happy, welcoming, and proud to be there (which says a lot) especially during these times. They've also set themselves up in some of the best spots around. I visited : 1) Summerfield Farms. 2) Oden Brewing Company. At both locations, you're not just grabbing food, you're getting a whole experience! Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Live music, dog friendly. The menu is simple, affordable, and done right. We got to try 4 different tacos, their queso dip, and their churros, and everything delicious! The meat was seasoned to perfection, super juicy, and full of flavor without being overcomplicated. But what really made this experience unforgettable? I got invited onto the truck to make my own churros!! let me tell you, that is not something you get to do every day. It was hands-on, fun, and honestly one of the most unique experiences I've had, collaborating with another business. By the end of it, it didn't even feel like a transaction anymore, we became friends! Taco Bros isn't just serving food, they're building up thier community. And that's something you don't come across often.

Overall the truck seemed very clean and hygienic for a food truck. The staff was incredibly friendly and organized. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. The prices are a bit high which is common for food trucks. Guac and chips was $10 and the chicken quesadilla was $14. One thing that would have been a nice touch was Jarritos. The chicken quesadilla was good but could have used a bit more seasoning. It was good sized and stuffed full of chicken, onions, peppers, and cheese. Overall we enjoyed Taco Bros and would definitely try them again at another event.

I got the brisket mac and cheese, and don't be fooled by the piece of meat laying on top. That is kind of just to show you what your order is. There is a good amount of meat distributed throughout the bowl it comes in. It was pretty pricey, but honestly, the flavor was just WOW. The brisket was honest to god smoked and delicious, the combination of cheeses they are using lends itself to the full spectrum of cheese flavors. From sharp, to creamy and nutty, to mild and smooth. The bowl is enough to share with a second person, finishing one on your own is absolutely possible, but you will be very full and calorie-rich if you were to do it. On top of that, love the friendly good vibes coming out of this truck. Chef Breeze and his crew don't seem like they could be happier doing anything else. Smokiin Mac is one of the food truck gems in the Triad, and they deserve it!

It's a food truck that's in partnership with the Hidden Gate Brewing. My order was placed at 4:16pm for honey garlic wings with truffle fries. I was given a buzzer to alert me when my food was ready. The buzzer went off at 4:25pm. I was given a side of the honey garlic sauce since I didn't get ranch or blue cheese. I also asked for cheese on top of my fries. Staff were helpful and great! I sat at a table to enjoy my food. The wings were perfectly cooked and I I enjoyed the fries. I even dipped them in the honey garlic sauce. For me, the sauce was more honey than garlic, which I didn't like. I would've preferred the opposite, if a balance between the two wasn't achievable. 9 piece wings and fries for under $14? That's a steal! I highly recommend them. I plan to return and I'd like to try a different wing flavor and/or another menu items. Several menu items piqued my interest. Apparently, this place is a favorite with some of my friends as well! As I'm doing this review, I'm wanting dessert. I definitely want to try the beignets.

I was eyeing this place for an entire week and happy I tried it out being that I'm from California,…read morethe anticipation was quite high! It's a food truck located in Petra's parking lot and open hella late, which is a WIN! I ordered 4 Quesa birria tacos, Birria ramen and something that looked like a mini quesadilla, I'm unsure of the name. The ramen was very flavorful although it felt like something was missing compared to Cali but overall very delicious! The only thing I didn't appreciate was the price. The cup was tiny and priced at $11. There wasn't enough room for additional consommé (juice) in the cup. I honestly think the cup could be a little larger for $11 or add more meat. My friend says the Quesa Birrias ($17) were good but they still prefer La Costenita's. Personally I don't like La Costenita's, because the meat and taco shells are extremely dry. But that's why we're all entitled to our opinions and preferences. :) The item that looked like a quesadilla was really tasty and only $7! It reminded me of a taco sandwich lol. The lady that took my order could of been a bit friendlier but I understand most people in NC aren't friendly at all. She insisted I add cheese after repeatedly explaining I do not like cheese and advised to dip my taco sandwich in the ramen but there wasn't enough juice in my ramen cup to even attempt that. Overall the meal was delicious, I've tried many places and this is at the top of my list. I would return when I'm craving something authentic but the pricing needs to be adjusted for what you get. Give it a try and tell me what you think!
