First time ordering from this location and I have just a few take aways. First, my colleague ordered steak and scallops, and she said that the scallops were extremely fishy. She did say the vegetables were good, but she didn't care for the sauce and the rice was just OK. I felt the same way about the veggies, but my salmon and shrimp were good. The sauce was OK as well, but nothing spectacular as was the rice. Most of these places do the bare minimum regarding the salad and this was the same. The ginger dressing was good, however. I will say this place is just ok, nothing great, but an option for "Japanese Takeout". I've eaten here throughout the years and for the most part, I tend to go back to either Kobe or Okyto up the road. But the days where they aren't open/too busy, I give Osaka a go. Food is prepared fairly fast. The hibachi steak & chicken I recently had was packed full of food. The steak was decent but the chicken was pretty dry. That, as well as the rice...pretty dry and not fluffy either. Hibachi order was more teriyaki-like as it was covered in a good amount of sauce. The white sauce and ginger sauces were decent as well. Always a tasty dinner option when we pick up Osaka, and always a very reasonable price. I stuck with my go to, Teriyaki chicken dinner, which comes with veggies and a big servings of rice. I called my order in on my way home, and when I got there in 10 minutes it was ready to go. The cashier was friendly both on the phone and when I arrived. The serving was a good size, enough to provide me dinner for the night and lunch the next day, and only $10. It definitely hit the spot and took care of my craving. Check this spot out! read more

The lady working was very pleasant and friendly, she had a table setup with games and activities to keep her son busy. I will say I did enjoy my meal the portion sizes were amazing. I ordered the hibachi chicken and Shrimp with extra chicken; payed $20.04. Came with a lot of rice protein and vegetables so now complaint there. The food also looked amazing. When it comes to the taste of the cuisine, the chicken had a very bland taste was mildly juicy and had an overall decent texture. The shrimp had a fishy taste reminding me of the ocean. The rice was cooked well and there was plenty of it to fill me up. Vegetables weren't cooked as much as I would have liked. Lastly I would say that the food I received didn't have a very intriguing taste, I didn't have the usual feeling of "yearning" for the next bite. The soup tasted miserable didn't even get through it. My girls and I love hibachi teriyaki etc. We had a problem because I cannot drive due to broken leg and wanted to see if they had a delivery service and they said they do not which I find surprising. I've paid for a lot of people today because I had a lot of people helping me out today. My order was simply hibachi chicken. Call I could not even eat it because it was so surely not just the chicken and the veggies as well. Very upset I don't have money to spend and I will keep that subject private. While the menu describes each delicious dish, the two dishes that I ordered were bland, overcooked, and portions were smaller than the price for which I paid. The steak and shrimp bowl with fried rice and vegetables, by the way vegetables consisted of a slice of carrot and a broccoli floret and the steak was rubbery and chewy and the 5 shrimp were overcooked. Unfortunately, the chicken and shrimp bowl was even more disappointing. Rubbery and chewy food. No thanks. I'll be headed back to anyone of my favorite Asian restaurants. My favorite hibachi restaurant in Greensboro. i've been eating here regularly for over a year as i live nearby and i have never had any issues. the food is delicious and everyone i recommend it to loves it as well. The staff are always friendly and on time with my food and even gave me an extra side of gyoza when i picked up a large order for a party. overall a great restaurant and i would highly recommend it. read more

Ive ate a lot of Japanese food in my life and at various places. This place is every bit of a 5 star for the amount of food you get, quality for price, and price. I've ate here twice now and had hibachi both times. First was filet and shrimp and then the second was the FILET MIGNON for YES $8.55--- If you forgot your lunch and you eat 2 lunches like me every day this is the perfect place to get one plate that you can make 2 meals out of. Make sure to get extra white sauce tho!! Is it shrimp Sauce or white sauce?? My wife argues that it is white sauce but I grew up in the country where ppl always called it shrimp sauce ---- anyways -- a nice clean facility and sweet design and layout of bathrooms. Not to mention the fresh veggies versus some places that hit u with the frozen or from a can ones. AVOID THIS PLACE! I ordered the chicken and filet mignon hibachi. The woman (server name on receipt: BOSS) in the plastic cage at the register ask what sauce I would like. She verbally listed a few. I told her ginger but wasn't sure about the others. She asked if I wanted to try the white sauce. I agreed. I didn't like the white sauce so I asked her if I could have a couple more containers of the ginger sauce; she told me it would be an additional $1.50 then pointed to a small sign stating that each extra sauce is 75 cents. Now keep in mind it was at her suggestion that I try the white sauce. Also note the plastic containers are very small and that many other places give you as much as you want; for example, upon request, servers at Little Tokyo leave a bottle of ginger sauce on the table. Have as much as you want at no additional charge. I had also left a $2.00 tip at the time I placed the order with her. The food was mediocre at best. There are so many other Japanese restaurants that are so much better with similar pricing. All the tables inside also appear to have a lot of rust on the bottoms of the table pedestals which I noticed after I sat down. Plastic forks. Given the attitude of the "BOSS" cashier I have to wonder what kind of shortcuts are also made kitchen! Again, this is definitely a place to AVOID! read more

I always like to try new places, saw the now open sign and decided to try it. Cool little place, focus on little, seats about 15 people, but has open tables. I opted to try the the Filet Mignon bowl, portion was nice, won't leave you stuffed but you will get your money's worth. Pricing is right on the spot, and if you eat out every day like I do it won't bust the budget. Was flavorful and hot when delivered to my table. The only draw back was the drinks are in bottles or cans. I prefer fountain drinks so opted for a bottle of water. Don't let the drink situation deter you, try the place, it's good, the girl taking your order is friendly, the cook knows what he is doing and you will have a nice meal. Will be back! read more
