I was actually surprised about how good the customer service was. The cashier was extremely nice. He asked if it was our first time here, walked us through the menu, and even gave us a couple samples of the wing flavors before we committed to one. The environment was beyond my expectations for the typical in-grocer restaurant. It was big, bright, well decorated, and super clean. You would never guess you were in a grocery store if you didn't have to walk through it to get inside. Because it was slow the cashier brought our food to us instead of making us get up to get it. He brought out the parmesan fries first. They were so delicious and probably some of the crispiest fries I've had. It was really clean inside & the employee who took our order was really nice. He let us try the soy garlic and honey garlic flavors - we decided on the honey garlic drumsticks. We also got the Parmesan fries. Everything was so delicious! The drumsticks were so crispy and had such a nice flavor. The fries were also really crispy and well salted. The chicken and fries were both crispier than similar chains I've tried and there's more flavors to choose from. The food is made to order and it tastes really fresh. Chicken Bee delivered! Tucked away in the International grocery mart off Market St. We tried the soy garlic wings, bulgogi, and mozzarella sticks. The wings were VERY crispy in a good way and they're HUGE. Very similar to Bonchon wings. The bulgogi had that great sweet and savory flavor - tough to stop eating! The real hit was the mozzarella sticks. Hard to tell from the picture but they are massive and tasty! Also loved the craft bottle of water they give for the table. It's a small, local place. No fancy thang, straight up an enclosed place to eat. Also they close at 8:30pm which I think is too early. The food is made fresh!!! I got the spicy garlic flavor on the chicken, which I didn't regret! Perfect crisp in each bite. Lots of great Korean dishes on the menu to choose from. Service was attentive! Parking in this shopping center on the weekend can be hectic, but once you find a spot...the restaurant is located inside the Super G market. I was a little confused at first as to where it was located. When you walk into the market, take the right entrance. If you go left, you will have to snake through the market (not far) to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is small but there is plenty of room to sit. You order at the counter and if you dine in, they give you a buzzer. In hindsight, I wish I used that time to walk the market, because it took almost 30 mins to get our food. I ordered the bone in wings (6) with pickled radish (half spicy/half soy) and my daughter got the boneless spicy wings (6) with white rice. We asked for water and we were provided a white jug with two small cups. The chicken was nice a crispy and flavorful. The spicy was not too spicy, but had a nice kick. I really enjoyed the soy wings. The pickled radish was tasty and was a nice balance with the spicy wings. The food is a five star, but the longer wait and having to walk almost a mile to the restroom brought my review down a star. read more

I tried Chicken Bee's lunch special, half spicy/half honey, and their original gimbap. The gimbap was especially tasty, and my favorite part of the meal. The fried chicken was also incredible. The honey sauce is the perfect amount of sweet, and the spicy sauce was the perfect amount of spice. The pickled radish that came with the gimbap was very fresh and tasty as well. Located inside of Super G Mart, the inside of this restaurant is actually surprisingly larger than I thought it was every time I've seen it while shopping, and it's very nice inside. I was happy to see a Chicken Bee in the Greensboro area, located right inside of the famous G-Mart! To be honest, parking can be quite a challenge but it's worth the search for a spot. The prices were fair and the quality was there. It takes a little bit of time for the chicken wings to come out and worth the wait for fresh food. I was a bit disappointed that the wings came out a little cold, especially when there weren't many people dining. On another note, my corndog never came out so I had to go ask for it. Their chicken is made to order, so you might have to wait 15-25 mins depending how busy they are. My partner and I dined in for lunch when they first opened, and I like how you can mix flavors of your chicken wings and I got half honey garlic and half soy garlic. Prices are steep for the small quantity of food, but at least they deliver on the quality. Bingsu is a new dessert for us, having it only one other time at Bom Bom in the same shopping center. We tried the mango and at first the shaved ice was so cold it hurt to eat. But once you mix in the mangos, sweetened condensed milk and ice cream with the light, powdery ice and Frosted Flakes... this thing becomes an amazingly fun and delicious dessert for two or more to share. The Frosted Flakes are the surprise star of this dish. At $13 it's not cheap, but it's fun and unique and serves more than one. read more

While at the counter, the cashier said I could sit at the table and order. I thought that was cool, however while I was waiting, I observed at least 2 other patrons order at the counter. I ordered the Quarter Dark meal with Spicy Garlic sauce. The chicken was fried well. Not bloody and crunchy. Juicy and hot/fresh out of the grease. The sauce was tasty and mild. Not spicy at all. Disappointed that they will combine sauces for the wings but not the whole pieces of chicken. My order came with 1 decent size drumstick, 1 full size thigh, half of a thigh (that's why the menu says 2 thigh pieces) , fries, a drink, and I chose rice as my one side. The other options are pickled radish or coleslaw. Upon entry, very cool modern casual decor. I like that they are up to date with ordering from the table with the QRC code. However, someone still has to come to the table for you to pay. Also, This establishment should provide wet wipes for your fingers (it is a fried chicken restaurant) or a hand washing station. If you ever find yourself in Super G, I think this place is a must! The few times we've been there, it was packed!!! Luckily, the one time we were there, wasn't. The food was incredible. I'm a huge fan of Asian food and this place is definitely up there! They have so much to try from and the portions were huge. I can't wait to go back and try their other menu items. So I came to this place to compare it to bonchon Korean fried chicken and it was alright I felt like the chicken was super crunchy but the soy garlic flavor could have been put more on to the chicken. It's almost like they put a light coating of it on there I guess next time I'll have to ask for extra sauce so that I can taste the flavor because the wings just tasted like regular Chinese chicken wings to me. We waited for our food for quite a bit, but it was well worth it. The staff was really nice and was definitely some authentic stuff. You can sit down or take out, but sitting down and eating your takeout food will be an extra $2 fee per person. Cute little place though! They place Korean music videos and Korean music. Loved it ! A day later I got some video in my YouTube feed about a Korean fried chicken place in Greensboro (chicken bee) so I had to check out. I don't know if this is exactly what it's like in Korea or not but either way it's the best! The crunch on each bite is so much different than typical fried chicken. I tip them $3 so total $28.17. 3 days later, the bill show up on my bank I was charge twice, one $28.17 and second time $60.82. they over charge me as a reward point. Which I never know when I purchase the wings. they try to steal my money and now I'm afraid they might steal my credit information too because I only swipe once not twice. Their flavors include honey garlic, soy garlic, spicy garlic, creamy onion, and scallion top. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting their honey garlic chicken. Also, they have AUTHENTIC KOREAN BINGSOO. Their bingsoo is comprised of frozen milk and various toppings, such as chocolate, mango, and strawberry. I got their classic red bean bing soo and thought that it was worth it. I'll definitely be back again soon. The only downside is the time that it takes for the food to come out. I waited 40 minutes after ordering for my food to arrive to the table. I drove 30 minutes out with a couple buddies to hit up Chicken Bee and do some light shopping at Super G Mart. My parents had suggested I go visit to try their famous dessert, Bingsoo. At around 4pm, it was pretty empty and quiet, but it has a nice atmosphere. The wait was a bit longer than I expected, about 20 minutes, but it was worth it. This is some of the best chicken in North Carolina! The breading is the star of the show here. Super crispy and crunchy, and piping hot. You'll be hearing an audible crunch on every bite of chicken. I got a boneless half/half sweet and spicy combo, and the medium size comes with 10 boneless pieces of chicken. I was afraid that 10 pieces wasn't going to be enough, but each piece is HUGE for a "boneless wing". I only ended up eating half of my chicken to save room for the Bingsoo. I ordered the Mango Bingsoo, and for the price, I felt the taste was a little disappointing. It's covered in mango chunks, but also has this artificial mango syrup drizzled all over it that I did not care for. Apparently, I also ate it wrong (according to my parents)! Next time I go, I'll have to try mixing up all of the shaved ice with the other ingredients for a better experience, and to try the Oreo one too. I'd definitely give it a shot if you're looking for a unique desert, and/or have people to share it with, because it's MASSIVE. I have been going to G-Mart for some time now to buy ethnic food from my country and had no idea this place even existed, but I am very fortunate to have found it. In my humble opinion, Chicken Bee has better food than Bonchon AND Nomu. My mom, who accompanied me, agreed as well. Great k-chicken and sides! Everything is made to order, so you get your chicken hot, crispy and fresh. Honey garlic chicken and original were delicious. The kimchee fried rice is on point. The mandus (gyoza-like fried dumplings) were addictive. Also, the fish cakes were great with the cocktail sauce. Only reason I didn't give this five stars is that I think Bonchon takes a slight edge of a lead with their chicken. But I will definitely revisit this place if I'm at Super G mart. read more
