Stopped by here for a crepe craving on a weekend and it was pretty crowded. I split a strawberry nutella crepe and it was a decent size. I think it was around $11ish dollars. There is a good filling to crepe ratio and they have a ton of different options. The crepes are made fresh and in front of you. Overall, I thought it was decent and they didn't skimp on the feelings, as I had mentioned earlier. Liberty Station is always pretty busy, but luckily, there is a ton of parking around the area. The location in Gaslamp is open later than this one so if you are looking to get a late night crepe fix, make sure to o to the other location. read more

Never missed ordering a crepe here when I'm in the area, my Son and I always have sweets from here after lunch at one of the food stalls here in Liberty Market. Their crepe here is good and my son always enjoys watching them make it. My son had his usual order here the ALA FOLIE crepe, it has NUTTELA and BANANA.STRAWBERRY with Ice cream on the side and as always he devours it and always forgets to offer to share it, that's how he likes it. This time, I didn't get the Crepe, but I tried their FRENCH BEIGNET chocolate trio. After trying it i dont think I will get it again , way too sweet for me, I will stick with my regular order of their Crepe. The display is full of cookies, macaroons and other delicious sweets that I have to come back and try. I got a mint chip shake and it was absolutely delicious. The milkshake wasn't too thin or thick- I really enjoyed it. The lady working behind the stall was nice and had a good energy about her. This was honestly the worst crepe I've ever had. Not only that, the macarons and raspberry beignets weren't good either. My date and I got the Olala and you couldn't taste the lemon curd at all and it was more sweet than sour. Though fresh, there was not enough strawberries to make it worth the price. We got 6 macarons and the only decent flavor was Raspberry, which is funny because the raspberry beignets were incredibly dry. After one bite, we ended up just throwing the rest away. Extremely Disappointing Experience with Staff and Management I rarely leave negative reviews, but the service at this establishment was unacceptable. I ordered a pesto chicken panini and was told it would be ready in about 10 minutes. My husband stood directly in front of the register the entire time, clearly waiting, while several staff members were chatting amongst themselves rather than preparing orders. When the sandwich was finally made, they never called out our number. It sat unattended, and only when I came around the counter did we realize it had been sitting there. The sandwich was cold. We politely asked for it to be warmed, but the person claiming to be the manager flatly refused. We explained that we had been waiting the whole time and our number was never called, but she said she didn't care and claimed she had no authority to issue a refund. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable eating the food, unsure of how long it had been sitting out or who may have handled it--so I threw it away. I simply sat down so my daughter could eat her meal. Shockingly, the manager then came over to our table to escalate the situation further. Her behavior was completely unprofessional and frankly, harassing. Not only did we receive poor service and cold food, but we were treated with hostility and disrespect after calmly walking away. I will preface this review with the fact that the service is stellar and the crepe we ordered was super delicious. They also mistakenly gave my friend the wrong flavor of macaron and they kindly apologized, gave her the correct one, and let her keep the wrong flavored one. This review is solely to emphasize how horrifying the dust situation is; everywhere is literally covered in dust. The TV and cords are covered with nearly half an inch of dust - I have never seen such thick layer of dust in my life. This is unfortunate generally, however it is alarmingly terrifying for a food establishment. I had to suppress the memory of the discovery in order to eat the crepe (I ate it outside, as far as possible from all of the dust). I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt that perhaps all of the booths were insanely dusty but upon inspecting the booth across the hall, that was not the case. I'd give this place 5 stars easily if it weren't for the unsanitary space. Frankly I'm surprised and shocked it hasn't been discovered and mitigated already. I love the Downtown location and am now scared to visit that location again in fear that their space is concerning as well after how many times I have eaten there :( I'm praying it improves and I can get back to enjoying the crepes without concern :/ read more

I have never left a Yelp review in my life. That alone should tell you how bad this experience was. I simply asked a basic, reasonable question before committing to a long line: whether there were any vegan options. The employee told me "yes, some," and told me to "look at the menu" which I had done prior to asked, a menu that does not indicate dietary restrictions or preferences in any capacity. After waiting in line, I watched the same employee consult with someone, who later learned was the manager after the situation from an employee at another establishment as this is inside a food market. I was told they only have vegetarian options. This is no problem as there are many other businesses that offer more inclusive menu is the market. The manager apologized and said she doesn't usually work there so she didn't know. The owner(I later learned) jumped into the conversation saying they only had lemon gelato which I was not going to get back into line for as this conversation was not off to the side where you pick up. Mistakes happen. Poor communication happens. What was unacceptable was what followed. After they thought I walked away, the employee, manager, and owner were visibly talking about me, mocking me, and laughing. I could see the employee shrugging and laughing. Watching leadership mock a customer over a basic dietary question was disgusting and wildly unprofessional. The moment they realized I was still standing there, they abruptly stopped and went back to work. Being unable to accommodate a customer isn't the issue. The best place to get crepes in San Diego!! I recently visited France and fell in love with salted crepes. I'd been craving that same flavor ever since, and this is the only place in San Diego that truly captures the authentic French recipe. I tried the pesto crepe and my girlfriend had the salmon both were delicious and very filling. I also got a Nutella sweet crepe, which was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind, answered all my questions, and took care to avoid cross-contamination since I have allergies. It was pretty crowded at the market when we went in December near Christmas time, but there is plenty of parking if you're ok with walking a bit. Although there were two registers, they were only accepting orders at the register near the ice cream display. We waited 10 minutes for our singular crepe to finish. We had gotten the Olala which consisted of lemon and brown sugar. The crepe was a bit tough to cut through but had nice browning. I didn't like the crepe itself since it tasted floury and left a powdery mouthfeel. Its size was a bit bigger than a standard palm and had a light dusting of powdered sugar. There was a slight lemon fragrance to the filling but I was disappointed in how little brown sugar there was. Not only was I missing the molasses quality, the filling was primarily at the tip with the outer half being dry and plain. Service was quick, just placed the order and then waited. Perhaps their paninis and macarons are better but since I didn't like the crepe base itself, I can't see myself enjoying the other ones either. The box comes with chips which was honestly the standard lays ruffles that they probably poured from a large ruffles bag. The panini had a little crunch to it but barely. Usually with paninis, there is that slight browning of the bread when it's made. This one was white with the indent of the panini and lacked substance. Honestly I could have made a better one myself. After a group dinner, my daughter and I were seeking dessert to-go. The little place we typically get our chocolate chip cookies closed down, so we had to circle around Liberty to check what other places sold cookies. I did see Cravory individually wrapped cookies being sold by a place, but wanted to try something different.
