    Peanut butter jelly time
    Joe C.

Came here for the August special, peanut butter jelly time, and it was fantastic. The peanut butter mouse and raspberry jam were very flavorful. The cookie cake bottom was on the plain side, but the other ingredients made up for it. My wife got the peach cobbler croissant. It looked beautiful but it kind of ended there. It was very dry and lacked flavor. She was pretty disappointed. I tried a bite of it and it was pretty bland and dry. The guy working the counter was super friendly. I throughly enjoyed mine but was bummed my wife didn't enjoy hers too.

Nice spot to grab a sweet treat in Liberty station. I had the almond croissant! Delicious! Service can be slow even on early mornings when not packed. They also sell coffee. They take debit.

Paid for our order tonight, gave a tip eventhough they don't deliver to our table. The guy says, "Your drink will be right here when it's ready okay?" (He points to the counter on his right). We watch the customers who ordered after us receive their order first. I walk up and ask him nicely, "Is our drink ready?" He looks at the young lady next to him and asks if she made our drink. She shrugs her shoulders, "No," and walks away. This is why I will never give a tip to counter orders again where we have to pick up our own food and drinks!!!

Pastries here are pretty decent! I wouldn't say the best pastry place but they did have some unique items. I had the quiche which was pretty good and their creme brûlée croissant. I was curious about the cookie croissant it looked super good. Service was quick but I did go right when they opened. Ambiance is nice, it's in the middle of a food hall so there's lots of people walking around.

After perusing the Tet Festival on the Liberty Station lawn, we decided to grab some sandwiches for lunch inside the food hall. We did a complete tour of the place and then decided on Paris Parfait, where we ordered a turkey club, grilled cheese, and soup to share, and also 2 iced teas. We both really enjoyed the sandwiches and loved that they were served on toasted sourdough. They were both very satisfying! The grilled cheese was extra cheesy and oh so yummy! The soup was quite tasty as well. I forgot what kind of tea we ordered, but it had a floral note. The sandwiches were freshly made to order and quality ingredients. Service was quick and pleasant. We sat at the counter that was still decked out in Valentine's decor.

One of my favorite must stop in Liberty Station. This location of parfait Paris is special for the fact it's in our food hall. After having a meal or snack at the L.P.M, I can always count on this shop to satisfy my sweet tooth. All the best pastry and gelato available in this area. The staff is always friendly, and the ambiance is casual so you can pop in anytime to grab coffee or sweets. Definitely try: The hazelnut noisette, gelato, and the rolled croissants.

Such a cute little Boulangerie! The pastries are so gorgeous and taste just as good. The server was very personable and had great recommendations. I ordered pain au chocolat which is a classic and lived up to my expectations, and a turkey club which was perfectly balanced and satisfying. Great flavor and everything tasted fresh. Fantastic lunch spot in Liberty Market!

Updating my previous review to 5 stars because of their almond croissants. Seriously the most delicious thing. The taste and quality has also remained constant over the years. Aside from their pastries, they have other small cakes and macarons as well as coffee and teas. But ugh, their croissants are seriously the best. Located in liberty public market, they have their own small counter space for customers aside from the other tables and areas shared with the other stalls. Service is quick and straightforward. A lil pricey, but like, delicious and worth the occasional splurge.

We got a croissant here and a Croissant aux almonds. Very fresh french bakery. We've been coming here for years and years.

Great service! Welcoming and friendly. The display of desserts are so tempting as you walk by and see these perfected pieces of delicacies. Espresso & coffee was hard to resist. Croissants, sandwiches and more. The breakfast croissant had a nice toast, light and flaky. Crème brûlée gets a nice torched sugar topping to crack into. Right next to pasta design a corner location with bar counter seating available for customers to take in the Parisian ambiance.

You know what? When you see a place that's super busy with a long line, dont get discouraged! Just put on your patience pants on and wait in line! I can tell you, we are so glad we did! We tried some of their succulents desserts after lunch and they hit the spot! Oh yes! It's so good! And their drinks! Hmmm to die for! It's definitely a splurge because the prices are a little hefty but so worth it. So savor each and every single bit you take because these delicacies are not meant to be chomped down. The staff was very friendly and even though swamped with customers, they are amazing.

Tres Leches Iced Latte and Iced Matcha Latte!
    Sunshine A.

So glad we ordered coffees from here! I love the tres leches latte as well as the iced matcha latte. The service is great and the young lady who assisted us spoke French so we practiced. The service came with a smile and I definitely would come back!

I stopped by after getting lunch today and decided to try to the bread pudding like dessert... more on that later, but let's start with the terrible service. After ordering a small dessert for $13 I asked to purchase bottled water. The guy in the pink hat said they didn't have it, I then asked if I could have a cup of water. This a**hole proceeded to tell me that "I could go to bathrooms and drink from the water fountain" are you kidding me? I should have said no thank you and just cancelled my order right there. I wouldn't have been missing anything. The "French pudding" I believed they called it, tasted like bland banana bread without the banana. It was such a waste of money and the service was so awful. Will never go there again.

Well, today was not the day to get it right either. First we waited 15 minutes for someone to even take our order, and since this was at the start of a different shift (we were the last order before 4), I guess they didn't even print our receipt and 3 people got their orders before I even realized what was going on. Mind you, this is now half an hour in front of the register. I ordered 2 Triple C's, with me asking for one to be adjusted to add Nutella and take out whipped cream. I got a hot cake with Nutella and caramel syrup, without ice cream, custard, Oreos or ice cream. I would suggest training these kids to properly handle food, but it would be a moot point past their blank stare, considering their brains short-circuit the moment they need to follow a different set of directions. At this point, I'm sick of it and I just want to leave and not cause a scene over an order of stupid crepes, which is btw, almost $40 (!!) with tip and tax. Totally unacceptable.

Staff were friendly -- especially to the regular I saw come in. While it's definitely a coffee shop in feel that serves food, the food that they serve is incredible. I had a delicious chai latte and the Madeline Benedict, both were incredible. After ordering I remembered how much I love the lie dirty chai from the South Park location -- next time. It didn't appear there was a parking lot so you have to find street parking. It's on the north side of El Cajon Blvd and there was street parking on Ohio that wasn't metered. While there is street parking available, it's North Park, so it fills up fast. There are a few dedicated spots in the back, but don't count on them being open during peak hours. The Food & Drink * Quality: The coffee and food hold their own. The flavors are solid, and the quality is definitely there. * The "Hidden Fee" Frustration: A heads-up for future diners: when ordering items like the Caprese Baguette, be wary of the "side" options. Even if the cashier asks which side you'd like, the breakfast potatoes come with an extra charge that isn't always explicitly mentioned during the ordering process. The Vibe * Atmosphere: While the French-inspired concept is clear, the interior doesn't quite hit the mark for everyone. If you're looking for a highly curated or "Instagrammable" aesthetic, this might feel a bit underwhelming compared to other spots in the neighborhood. Service : The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that the food and coffee arrived promptly and making the overall experience much smoother. It's always a plus when the team's hospitality outshines the layout of the room.

The decor and setting is cute and quirky, including cow sculptures hanging upside down from the ceiling. There were only a couple other visitors when we arrived, as it was near opening time. Our dishes took a whopping 35 minutes to be ready, and service was not very friendly nor helpful. Luckily, the music playing through the speakers added a nice vibe to the place, songs like Our House by Madness and Can't Fight This Feeling. We ordered the brunch pizza (with eggs cooked overeasy) and the breakfast flatbread which looked almost identical when served, as well as an iced mocha. The quality of the pizza was pretty average, and the eggs were slightly overcooked. The drink was really good, made fresh, with a smooth taste and a nice sweetness to it, the plastic cup coated in chocolate sauce. It tasted more like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee, which I personally enjoyed. They typically serve gelato here, but it would not be ready till almost two hours after opening time. So no milkshakes or cold desserts were available in the morning this past Sunday (no worries, Ghirardelli is just a block away). I appreciate the variety of menu items offered here. But they really should communicate online that their gelato's not ready till two hours into the day. If there's one thing that irks me about an establishment, it's failure to communicate appropriately. Even though our recent visit was somewhat disappointing, I still gave 3 stars, assuming this was an off day for them.
