    Bad pizza
    Jan H.

This review is just for the pizza alone as that is all that we have. I'm going to say it's a salad no for me and enough to make me not go back and try anything else. We stopped here during Comic Con as there wasn't much else that had space. The pizza was over $15 for a pepperoni, and it was some of the blandest undercooked Pizza I have ever had. They added nothing to it to give it any type of flavor it seems, and the sauce was pretty much non-existent. We stomached what we could just because we were hungry, and left the rest for the trash.

Looking for an affordable and quick place to grab a bite, look no further. The Nutella and banana crepe was delicious. It really hit the spot and had plenty of Nutella and bananas in the crepe. We also ordered an Açaí bowl with berries, granola and honey, it was DELICIOUS! We split the larger for only a few extra bucks over the 16oz, and it was big enough to have spilt three ways. The service was fine, the lady who took our order was nice and helpful. I can see why others say about friendliness, the workers won't go out of their way to say hi, but the service was fine. The store was kinda small, so we ate outside. On a beautiful San Diego day, it was an excellent way to grab a quick bite and enjoy the scenery.

This is my favorite gelato shop! I've been back 3x so far since trying it. The service is always fast and friendly. It looks like a cute little moms and pops shop. Small and intimate. I've tried the Rocky road 10/10 Mixed berry 10/10 Double chocolate 11/10 Mango 10/10 Lemon 10/10 The gelato just melts in your mouth and they give you a really good portion!

This place has it all... ice cream, milkshake, cookies and more. It's a good thing they do because if they sell just the cookies alone, they would not make it. Service was OK. My teens got the birthday cake cookie and the cookies and cream cookie. Three cookies were hard as a rock. Perhaps that's not their signature items. The cookies seem to be sitting out for awhile. My teens didn't even finish their cookie and it was not cheap! Stay away from the cookies.

Stopped by here after seeing that the line for Slurp was wayyyy too long. The display of various cookies caught my eye and I was drawn in to the confetti cookie. I thought it tasted pretty standard- chewy on the inside and not too crispy on the outside. It definitely satisfied my sweet tooth for the time being!!

Cute little shop nestled in downtown San Diego. They offer an array of different sweet and savory crepes, gelato, smoothies, specialty drinks and more! Truly a place everyone can find something to satisfy a craving. Service was quick and attentive. The store offers some indoor and outdoor seating. Plus prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back to try new things whenever I'm in town.

Got the Nutella crepe with bananas and strawberries, it was delicious! They allow dogs in, which is a plus. The employee was kind and the prices were reasonable.

Mid nothing special. Flavor and texture was not there compare to other places I've gotten macaroons from. Nice and clean place very well kept. Fast and easy good service and good info.

This crepe spot will satisfy your sweet craving at night, but I don't know if we would return to grab a sweet crepe during the day. We were walking around Downtown and stumbled across this shop. We thought it was closed just by looking at its hours via Yelp and in the front, but they were still open. Their hours are not up to date or maybe they were open late because of comic-con. We ordered a classic crepe and substituted Nutella for condensed milk; strawberries and bananas were added to it, too. I'm not a huge Nutella guy, and some of the menu items had condensed milk instead of Nutella, so it still made sense. We waited a bit, and the lady making our crepe did not seem like she wanted to work. The crepe was a bit chewy but good! I enjoyed the seating outside, and the owner's little son took our plate and asked how the food was.

The vibe is super comfortable and very inviting, the kind of place you actually want to sit and hang out for a bit. I tried the caramel macchiato and can honestly say it was one of the best coffees I've had in the San Diego area. Smooth, not too sweet, just perfect. For dessert, I had the Nutella crêpe with bananas and strawberries and it was amazing. Light, fresh, and not overly heavy. I was also surprised they had savory options, so I tried the chicken pesto crêpe and it was just as good. Really flavorful but still light, which I loved. They also had gelato that looked insanely good with some rare flavors like Dubai chocolate. I didn't get a chance to try it this time, but I'll definitely be coming back for the ice cream and to try more items. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Olala Crepes was a nice surprise! Initially came in here wanting to try their crepes but ended up just trying their acai bowl. They offer two sizes for their acai bowls, which we had gotten the smaller size. It was a good size if you're looking for a good snack that's not too sweet. The acai mix itself was lovely; I loved that every bite you can expect to have some granola. The acai is a bit on the liquidy side and not as frozen as I am used to, but nevertheless still good. The staff was all super kind and sweet. Would come back again!

Returning to comic con, i always find myself stopping by here at least once for a treat on the way back to whatever telly we are at. This time around i opted to not do the crepes (was a bit sweet for me though i know they say it's more on the healthy side) We got the acai bowl and it was enjoyable, felt fresh and the toppings were yummy. Has a lot of granola in it which i welcomed for the change of pace in texture. Thanks again olala will be back next time.

Overall: small shop with okay sweets, rude and inflexible service, nothing special about the ambiance, and no bathrooms Stopped in for an acaii bowl and gelato. Both were super sweet. The lady who took our order seemed very angry to be at work. They don't offer samples even after you have paid for your order and you can only get one flavor if you order a small. There was some outdoor seating.

Crêpes not great. Coffee was average, basic service and not much of a place to sit in. Would've been good to have place outside to sit.

We shared a savory and sweet one. For the savory one, we got the crab crepe which was its own experience, as I've never had a seafood crepe, so I was pleasantly impressed with how tasty this was. For the sweet we got the Nutella with strawberry and banana, which of course was delicious! Cannot go wrong with Nutella, ever. The reason for the 4 stars was because I have a peanut allergy and made the cashier aware of it and requested if they could simply take extra pre-caution in preparing our food; instead of just understanding, and complying with the request, it seemed like the worker wasnt understanding that I just wanted things to be cleaned off before cooking our food, and felt like she was trying to scare me off from eating here. Additionally, the workers need some slight education in food allergens, and the difference between peanuts, and tree nuts. If I didn't know any better I would've walked out disappointed in not being able to eat here because the worker was not understanding my ask but instead making me fearful of cross contamination, which I am well aware of but it can be prevented by a quick wipe down, and clean utensils to cook with??? All in all, the food made up for this slight annoyance, so I would recommend for others to try it! Just be careful if you have peanut allergies :)

While there is street parking available, it's North Park, so it fills up fast. There are a few dedicated spots in the back, but don't count on them being open during peak hours. The Food & Drink * Quality: The coffee and food hold their own. The flavors are solid, and the quality is definitely there. * The "Hidden Fee" Frustration: A heads-up for future diners: when ordering items like the Caprese Baguette, be wary of the "side" options. Even if the cashier asks which side you'd like, the breakfast potatoes come with an extra charge that isn't always explicitly mentioned during the ordering process. The Vibe * Atmosphere: While the French-inspired concept is clear, the interior doesn't quite hit the mark for everyone. If you're looking for a highly curated or "Instagrammable" aesthetic, this might feel a bit underwhelming compared to other spots in the neighborhood. Service : The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that the food and coffee arrived promptly and making the overall experience much smoother. It's always a plus when the team's hospitality outshines the layout of the room.
