    Gelato

Perfect quick stop for gelato, they have a variety of unique flavors like smores, oreo, peanut butter and mint, along with some traditional flavors and sorbet fruit flavors. Small spot more of an order and take out. Clean, good service and fast.

The banana cream pie latte is out of this world good. My good I could have 10 of these. The crepes are fantastic and the staff super helpful and friendly. The place was packed and they still got thing out quickly. Really loves this place and I will be back.

I have yet to order their gelato and I plan to one day, but the items i have ordered are always YUM! Lately, it's their Blended Cafe Mocha. I'm a sweet bias, so it fits me perfectly. Coffee not too strong on this drink, which is fine with me. I had their salmon crepe before and it's lovely. The setup outside is small, but cute and a great place to sit during the days where our weather is great, which is very often. I think if I'm going to grow about one thing, it's that's they don't have AC, so it can be kinda stuffy inside when it's warm, but there are only a few seats inside anyways. The service is great. I had my dog with me and was talking to him, telling him I don't have a pup cup for him. The server overheard me and got my furbaby a pup cup anyway, which was sweet, because I didn't know they have those out.

Stopped in for breakfast. Immediately upon entering the store, it was very warm. I ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich and then decided to sit outside. There was loads of bacon on the sandwich and the staff were friendly and patient as I decided what to order. Thankfully the outside tables were available so I enjoyed my sandwich outside then went for a walk and came back and got a match latte with a shot of espresso. The ladies were very confused with the drink order but made it as requested and it was delicious. The ambiance in the store is open and welcoming though, I hope the warmth in the store was just that day otherwise it may keep people out.

Got a Pas Du Tout (peanut butter and banana) sweet crepe with scoop of dulce. My daughter got a blue magic. Bother were great and hit the spot. Service was good and ambience was cute.

Ordered the espresso. Tasted amazing like a double espresso with cream. All scoops come in cups with small spoons. The cashier said they make their own gelato. Its really good!

    literally cheese on bread

    Bad pizza

This review is just for the pizza alone as that is all that we have. I'm going to say it's a salad no for me and enough to make me not go back and try anything else. We stopped here during Comic Con as there wasn't much else that had space. The pizza was over $15 for a pepperoni, and it was some of the blandest undercooked Pizza I have ever had. They added nothing to it to give it any type of flavor it seems, and the sauce was pretty much non-existent. We stomached what we could just because we were hungry, and left the rest for the trash.

Looking for an affordable and quick place to grab a bite, look no further. The Nutella and banana crepe was delicious. It really hit the spot and had plenty of Nutella and bananas in the crepe. We also ordered an Açaí bowl with berries, granola and honey, it was DELICIOUS! We split the larger for only a few extra bucks over the 16oz, and it was big enough to have spilt three ways. The service was fine, the lady who took our order was nice and helpful. I can see why others say about friendliness, the workers won't go out of their way to say hi, but the service was fine. The store was kinda small, so we ate outside. On a beautiful San Diego day, it was an excellent way to grab a quick bite and enjoy the scenery.

Stopped in for a quick cappuccino & Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bagel! Food was great and the cap was enjoyable as I walked around! Staff was super friendly & kind! I enjoyed the atmosphere as they got their morning rush and I had my brunch in the eclectic cafe!

This is my favorite gelato shop! I've been back 3x so far since trying it. The service is always fast and friendly. It looks like a cute little moms and pops shop. Small and intimate. I've tried the Rocky road 10/10 Mixed berry 10/10 Double chocolate 11/10 Mango 10/10 Lemon 10/10 The gelato just melts in your mouth and they give you a really good portion!

This place has it all... ice cream, milkshake, cookies and more. It's a good thing they do because if they sell just the cookies alone, they would not make it. Service was OK. My teens got the birthday cake cookie and the cookies and cream cookie. Three cookies were hard as a rock. Perhaps that's not their signature items. The cookies seem to be sitting out for awhile. My teens didn't even finish their cookie and it was not cheap! Stay away from the cookies.

Stopped by here after seeing that the line for Slurp was wayyyy too long. The display of various cookies caught my eye and I was drawn in to the confetti cookie. I thought it tasted pretty standard- chewy on the inside and not too crispy on the outside. It definitely satisfied my sweet tooth for the time being!!

Don't waste your time on the cookies or "French macaroons." Everything was hard and stale. I wasted $37 (also insane pricing).

Crêpes not great. Coffee was average, basic service and not much of a place to sit in. Would've been good to have place outside to sit.

We waited about 30 minutes (Sunday afternoon rush), but it gave me plenty of time to explore the menu. I usually stick to a simple order, but with so many base options, I decided to "do it all," and I'm so glad I did. My son loved the pitaya and mango bases (and so did I). The blue coconut and classic açaí were excellent, and the blue chia topping was a fun and tasty surprise. All the fruit was extra fresh, and the granola added the perfect crunch. We absolutely loved everything and will definitely be back soon!

I decided to just park along Gilman Drive, which is free, and walked about 20 minutes. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all -- it was a sunny day and there's plenty of street parking if you're willing to walk a bit. I've always loved Blue Bowl Superfoods in Oceanside. It's SO good and easily one of my favorite açaí spots, I could literally eat it every single day. I love all the customizations they offer, the variety of bases, and just how many ingredients they have. This time, I decided to visit their UCSD location, which is right in the middle of University of California San Diego's campus. They open around 10 AM on Saturdays (and typically around 8 AM on weekdays), and even right at opening there were already a lot of people waiting. My friend and I were still able to get in and out pretty quickly around 10. I ended up getting their mango passion base along with açaí. For toppings, I loaded it up strawberries, bananas, apples, blackberries, blueberries they truly have so many options. I also love their variety of nuts, seeds, and different types of nut butters. They really don't skimp on choices. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by. I was SO full after, and honestly, you could even split a bowl with a friend because they pack it generously. It's about $12 for a normal medium-sized bowl, which I think is worth it for the portion and quality. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The ambiance is nice it's more of a grab-your-bowl and then sit outside type of vibe, but there is indoor seating as well. Definitely one of my favorite açaí spots, and this location did not disappoint.

**July 2026: Sunday Afternoon Visit**…read more After an amazing (but exhausting) weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, my body was seriously craving something refreshing and nutritious. I had walked past Vitality Tap several times since it's conveniently located near my hotel, and on my last day I finally decided to stop in and I'm so glad I did. The space is a cool mix of a vitamin/supplement shop and a health focused drink and café spot. For a Sunday afternoon, it was surprisingly busy, with staff hustling to make drinks and açaí bowls. Despite the crowd, everything looked well-organized, and all the customers seemed genuinely happy with their orders. I ordered "The Dragon," which had pitaya, coconut water, pineapple, and strawberries. It was incredibly refreshing, which was exactly what I needed after hours of walking in the heat. Light, hydrating, and flavorful without being overly sweet. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area to try their açaí bowls and juices. Great spot for a post adventure reset.

I placed an order ahead of time and showed up about 25 minutes later thinking it would be ready. When I checked in, a younger employee told me it would be another 10 minutes. Annoying, but okay. The parking situation around here is already a nightmare, so I really wasn't thrilled about having to stand around waiting even longer. Well, those 10 minutes turned into 25. During that time, I watched multiple people walk in, place orders after I had already checked in, and receive their food before me. The crazy part? It wasn't even busy. There was no line out the door, no rush, no obvious reason for such a ridiculous delay. After waiting long enough, I finally went up to an older gentleman working there (I'm assuming the owner) and politely explained that I had been waiting a very long time and was confused why people ordering after me were getting their food first. Instead of apologizing or even acknowledging the mistake, he was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was inconveniencing him for asking about an order that should have been ready ages ago. Then, after another 10 minutes, my bowls were finally ready. In total, I waited about 35 minutes after checking in for pickup. To top it all off, the older gentleman practically shoved the bowls at me without so much as a "sorry for the wait." Look, delays happen. Mistakes happen. What bothered me was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service. If you're running behind, just be honest about it. Don't tell someone 10 minutes when it's really going to be over half an hour. The açaí is good, but not nearly good enough to make up for being treated like an annoyance. There are plenty of other places in San Diego serving great bowls without the attitude.
