Fast forward to a few weeks ago and unsurprisingly I had the same experience. The staff at Krannawitter eye care are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Of course, Dr. Krannawitter herself is great and quick. I've tried other optometrists in the area but Dr. Krannawitter is patient and really listens to your eye needs. I've seen Dr. Letourneau and Dr…read more Henderson for all my vision needs for many years as their practice has grown, but it appears they have forgotten why locals chose them in the first place. I selected them because they were a local practice and not some national chain where I was just another number. Well that's no longer the case. They've apparently outsourced their scheduling to a call center in a foreign country and I no longer feel that my personal health information can be trusted with them. I contacted their Olathe office to express my concern, but did not receive a return call from their office manager as I was promised. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Ridgeview Eye Care. I hope they realize that trust is key to keeping the customers who helped build their practice.

Discover Vision totally ignored all of my symptoms and reports of severe light sensitivity and pain after their cataract surgery. They provided negligent care with intense UV light treatments. The patient was definitely not drunk or under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. It's pretty obvious when people are drunk because they reek of alcohol she was just there for an eye visit. I am not sure why the staff thought she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs because she clearly wasn't but they proceeded to call the police on her and tell the police that she was under the influence of alcohol yet the staff still treated her for her visit. If she was really under the influence of alcohol wouldn't medical professionals not be allowed to treat her? I don't think the staff would've treated her because it's probably a liability to treat a I patient that's under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I was an appalled by them treating her this way when the woman was just was coming in to get a new prescription for her glasses and I witnessed her behavior. She was not under the influence of anything for the staff to call the police on her is absurd and extremely unprofessional. I will never go here again after I witnessed how they treat their patients very unprofessional receptionist, staff, and definitely the medical staff. I don't know what this lady did for them to treat her this way, but she didn't deserve that and I will never go there again and I will tell all my friends and everyone I know how this poor young lady was treated and how no one should ever go to insight vision center off Lone Elm in Olathe, Kansas. Do better. I don't know why the staff assumed she was under the influence. Now I believe the staff or medical professionals that work there were under the influence is that why they thought that she was? It's absurd and I will tell everyone about this. You lost me as a patient I hope you lost her as a patient and I know tons of people that wear glasses and they were going to your vision center but I've already told them what happened. Now those patients told me they will never go there again and I'll keep spreading the word of their unprofessionalism. No Patient should be treated in this manner.

Took my 3 year old here to get an eye exam. She was super wiggly, the assistant(I'm not sure of…read moretheir actual title but he was super super cool, had a septum piercing like me and my daughter loved him) had trouble getting imaging due to that and the fact that she was too small and had to sit on my lap to reach. The doctor proceeded to take her prescription manually, I was SO impressed with his patience and professionalism. Then, after that, the doctor suggested that we go back to the machines and try again. He was able to get pictures this time! The machine read her prescription as the EXACT numbers that he had recorded during his manual examination. The man behind the desk urged me to bring her back if there were any problems with her glasses. They ended up slipping down her nose a bit so I took him up on that. He fixed it in a matter of minutes and they have fit perfectly for the last 3 months!! I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was and how grateful I am to this location. Couldn't recommend them enough.

A much better vibe than our previous eye doctor in Leawood. Let me start by saying Dr. Niebuhr is amazing! I told her my complaints of wearing contacts and how they felt on my eyes. She did her magic (took measurements) and gave me a sample pair and the rest is history. Apparently I have different vision per eyeball and more of an astigmatism on my left. So far so good, I don't even feel them in my eyes at all! My previous doc said I had the same vision in both eyes but for whatever reason i still had the same complaints that my eyes just wouldn't cooperate and I would get headaches frequently while wearing contacts. Now I know why! ‍ Luckily a friend recommended Grin eye care a few months ago and I think I found our new family eye doctor! I'll be sure to follow up if things start to go south...
