    Nice cold one

We are a local couple and enjoy trying out as many of the local restaurants. It's our first time here and first impression is, well don't know what to expect. The main seating area was kind of full so the hostess sat both of us in the back room which at the time was empty. We were seated in a booth which is very nice and your own little place. The waitress was very accommodating. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. Good, but too much cheese. I ordered the hog wings with mild sauce. My wife ordered the cheesesteak with cheese sauce on the side. Wasn't sure what it would taste like. Food came in a timely fashion and was good. I think we might return and try the burgers.

Was pleasantly surprised. The original Antlers from over a two decade ago was always a great experience. Fast forward, they closed and reopened. Was horrible. Fast forward to today, reinvented. We throughly enjoyed our meal. The menu is basic and simple. Not a ton of stuff, but everything we had was perfect. They have a Friday fish fry for 19.99. Saturday was a prime rib special for 29.99. Two of us had pasta dishes. Large portions, fresh and well prepared. We got side salads which were equally fresh and satisfying. The Prime Rib special was really impressive. Not much fat, perfectly cooked and seasoned, with large portions of side dishes included. Dinning room was crowded, so got a little loud at times. Wait staff was fast, knowledgeable and very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back to the updated and much improved Old Antlers Inn.

I've only been here once recently and it was okay I feel it could've gone better, but not bad overall. A party came in and I was able to hear myself talk before they arrived. They were being overly loud. It made me feel like I was in a rave or concert having to scream across the table to the person I was eating with which was rude. Our waitress was a beautiful kind ginger lady, I apologize for not remembering her name, but she was kind and helpful. Adam and I ordered two hog wings and one of mine were so over cooked the bone was grey as well as the meat. I had to tear it off the bone. For my second one it was nicely cooked, but found a part that wasn't fully cooked so I obviously didn't eat it. Adams, the plate across from mine, was cooked perfectly his hog legs peeled right off the bone and were cooked nicely. Our Mac and cheese was pretty good we've never had home style Mac taste as good as it was here. We both got a side of fries with our meal and not knowing it, but the plate in the picture provided is one side of fries for one order we received the other plate of fries arrived mid meal. I feel that was a bit much and needs to be brought down to a smaller size for the side but that's my opinion. Alcoholic drinks were very tasteful and delicious I believe we ordered an orange sunrise. There are napkins at the table which I found convenient. They serve wet wipes for you to clean your hands with which was very helpful. The ladies bathroom was spacious and clean. I noticed they don't have their menu posted so I'm providing it here for those interested in trying them out. For those wanting steak it is not on the menu, however, they serve it on Saturdays I do believe but feel free to comment and correct me if I'm wrong.

The food was exceptional! The bartender and waitress were so awesome! We were there when they were taking photos of new drinks, I got to try a maple bourbon milkshake! Holy cow best adult drink ever! This our new date spot! We drive over an hour but the food was absolutely awesome! The entire place was spotless! Hands down the coziest and most updated restaurant I've been to in the area! Can't give them enough stars!!!

All the tables were never cleaned off from the previous customers the entire hour we waited for our food. Gross!!!

Huckleberry is a more-tart relative of the blueberry, and is notoriously difficult to farm. There was so much fruit here that we couldn't really say it was the dominant flavor. Quite nice. Nice red hue, too. Wait ... "Berry Man"-ilow? Not sure of the intended implications. It seems to get sweeter as it warms up. I still don't get the name. Wachusett Blueberry Ale was a less-tart and more malty brew. This to us was more beer that fruit-punch. So one of liked the first, and the other liked this. There were maybe a dozen more drafts to choose from. The bar was pleasant, bright, and relaxing.

The visit before last was bad, and this last time was just so dreadful. I had to update my review. Ownership has changed a couple times over the years, and now the restaurant is as bad as you can get. Other than the french fries, my meal was downright awful. The quality of my chicken fried steak about as good as an old TV dinner Salisbury steak. Very low quality pre-frozen portion. The salad bar was OK, but very skimpy compared to past visits., and the bread was stale. The service was terrible too, as we had to hunt down our middle-aged waitress for everything, and I mean everything. She never checked on us until she brought the check, and there were plenty of things that we needed. She never bothered clearing dirty plates or glasses off our table, and was just generally miserable as well. I really hate leaving one star, because I I know how hard it is to run a restaurant, and I really did like this place for so long.

It's no secret that PA's craft beverage scene is positively booming more than any other state in the country. Situated on the former site of an antique store, Bullfrog Brewery has sat on West 4th Street for 30 years in the vibrant downtown and stands out with both its flagship pub and a dedicated production facility, where my partner, his family, our friends, and I decided on dinner yesterday. A reservation was made for a party of 10. Upon entering, some of us as first-timers were greeted by the staff in a historic building with its brick and brass features along the brewing vats looming in the bar and dining areas. The vibe was warm, relaxed, and full of character. It's the kind of place where one instantly feels at home with indoor and outdoor dining options. Their menu tends to be hearty and comforting cuisine consisting of familiar savors of sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, and wings as well as more unique flavors and options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan patrons. For starters, we ordered Fried Pierogi, Roasted Cauliflower, and Sesame Pepper Tuna. Our main meal consisted of a Fried Fish Sandwich, Garlic-Crusted Chicken, Veggie Mac & Cheese, and Frogobello Sandwich, to name a few. The food was cooked well, tasty, and came out in a very timely manner. The staff were friendly and welcoming, checking in at the right intervals and ensuring we had everything we needed. Our server was Michael. It's a well-deserved local institution that makes an indelible mark.
