This was my first visit to an old Beijing store. I had no clue when I entered, this was part of a chain. I wondered what kind of merchandise could support and all Asian store. The focus seem to be on Chinese and Japanese pieces. I'm guessing this is aimed at the Asian population because I saw a lot of feng shui pieces and not the inexpensive trinkets. For sheer mass, the primary merchandise was devoted to tea sets. Pure Asian tea sets. It was overwhelming. Sadly, for Old Beijing, I am overloaded with tea sets. I could use an awesome selection of Asian teas. With maybe some tea tastings. Perhaps the stuff was hiding. There was an incredible selection of incense. I was a little nervous about all that fragrance, until I remembered I smelled this before, and had no adverse reaction. There were even bundles of white sage, to cleanse the spirits or something. Is that really an Asian tradition? There were some trinkets and toys which were aimed mostly at little kids. But the bulk of it was surprisingly high-end. Sadly, the store decor could use a helping hand. too much stuff has been crowded together. The effect is overwhelming and it is really hard to focus on anything as a result. THESE ITEMS ARE Counterfeit, I walked into the store with my mom and sister. The store was filled with items. We shopped around and felt lucky that we were able to find Labubus and Sonny Angels since they are really popular and hard to find. We were really surprised about the availability of the items. while we were shopping, the owner of the store noticed that we were interested, walked over to us and stated that she purchased the items from the same manufacturer that pop Mart purchases from. This assured us that we were buying authentic items. Although they were pretty expensive, I convinced my mom to buy them (we spent $115 ) We got into the car to leave the plaza, opened up one of the boxes and realized it had been previously opened by someone else. We returned it for an exchange and went on with our day. Once we got home, we opened all the items we had purchased. I was literally shocked and in disbelief after realizing all of the items were RIDICULOUS COUNTERFEITS. My sister cried, one of the items that we purchased was a gift for her friends birthday, which was the following day. My mom was so upset that she wanted to go back to the store, but it was closed by time we got home. We now realize that the owner of the store told us deceiving information that convinced us that the items were real, this deceiving tactic was her intention from the beginning. It sealed the sale. I was excited to see my family member open them, and we quickly realized they were fakes. The packaging and Labubus are very convincing fakes, but Pop Marts' QR Code authenticator confirmed they were counterfeit. I tried to get a refund and reported the store to the police to prevent other consumers from being scammed. August 15, 2025 Bought two Labubu's from this business. They were $49.99 each. One was Big into Energy and the other was Exciting Macaron. I purchased these for my daughter as she has been really wanting one. I got home and gave them to her and realized they were both FAKE. I tried to call the store and numbers were all disconnected. Management gave me a number also disconnected. I finally was able to have the store next to them walk over and take my call. They were super rude and unwilling to resolve the issue. They know they are selling fakes and know nobody will stop them. I just want to warn others who are spending their hard earned money in this store. I should have known better but took a leap of faith. Very disappointed. Please use caution at this store. The Labubu's are NOT Authentic. They have an authentic one infront to make it look legit. This store sells fake Sonny Angels. I was so excited to find these local to me! I got in my car and opened my blind boxes and they were clearly counterfeit. They had no trademark and the paint on them was so bad. I immediately brought them in and the girl working was so rude and didn't help. I went home and just couldn't not accept not getting a refund for fake products. I went back a third time and asked the girl to speak to the owner and she refused to give me her number. Eventually she gave it to me and i contacted the owner, after fighting tooth and nail I did get my money back. Overall this was a terrible experience and I would not recommend anyone shop here. They tried to pin it on me saying why would I buy fake items, but how could I have known they were fake without opening the blind boxes??? And why are you even selling fakes anyway?
