Thought I'd stop by Pueblo's new spot, for a quick beer and bite of pizza. Nothing quick about it; our waitresses seemed to have their beaus there, no one else got any attention. Horrible service! I was sitting at the bar, and asked them, by their names, taking turns, for some attention. No response; I sort of yelled their names, same. I watched them as they sort of watched me carefully wrap half a pizza in the few napkins on the bar--it was worth finishing later--but they didn't bring the box i asked for, quite loudly, and didn't offer one. If i hadn't had correct change to pay with cash, i'd still be waiting there. Sad. Had hoped for better. Very bad service. (Iannes' pizza just as good, and their servers are human.) If I could give no stars I would. The new manager staff is absolutely horrendous and rude. I believe "Michael" is the name of the manager in training and it is beyond me how he was allowed to even train for a manager role. He is rude, gives snarky comments, and has no regard for other's. Great bartender good atmosphere.... until the "manager" with her belly hangout decided to walk around the entire restaurant eating food with her fingers and mouth wide open. We showed up to Old Chicago road weary and disappointed. After 11 hours on the road, our original dinner plan that we had yelped went bust, and so we thought we'd go to Old Chicago, although, when we travel, we don't necessarily like to eat at chains. Our server, Raeli made our experience wonderful. She was knowledgeable about the area, offered lots of local beer selections, made sure our every need was met. She really went above and beyond. Really made our night. We sat outside on the patio. The breeze was wonderful. The food was fantastic. We got the Italian Nachos and an Individual Thin Classic pizza along with local brews. If it was possible to give zero stars then I would. This service that was just experienced by myself and several others picking up orders was very unprofessional. We waited for our food for 30 mins after it said it was done. The waitress came back and said someone took our food and we would need to wait longer. The manager refused to come out and talk to my husband or anyone else waiting for their food. After 45 minutes, someone came back and said they found our food and a waiter came out and was very disrespectful to us. I called the manager and she had an attitude the entire time. This establishment does not have their staff trained to handle working in a restaurant. Once our food was home, it was not made correctly and they gave us bread instead of bruschetta, and they gave me the wrong burger; the only thing they made correctly was the pretzels. They at first didn't look busy since the parking lot had quite a few empty spots. We waited maybe a minute for a booth and were put into a corner booth by the patio. Perfect! Pros: Our waitress Sarah was friendly, but as time went on, seemed to be hurried. She did bring out two sample beers for my husband to try without him asking. A very pleasant surprise. Our appetizer, bacon mac and cheese bites were very good like always. We ordered the large classic; pepperoni, mushrooms, italian sausage, and roasted garlic. And that's about it. Cons: We were only seeing one manager. The other two were rarely seen, remember those magic tricks of now you see me, and poof they disappear in a cloud of smoke? Yep, that pretty much explains the other two managers. Hiding in the back somewhere. Our pizza did not come with mushrooms, so we asked for a remake. That did come back perfect. But when our server told us a manager would be by. We didn't see him/her and couldn't get their attention. We finished and got the bill. I asked about talking to a manager again. This time she came. Askes her a company policy and felt like she needed to get this done quickly to move on. A very hurried solution and more of a , fine whatever. Give me the reciept and I'll make the change. Old Chicago, especially this one needs better customer service and managers that are present throughout. Instead there was one manager that was pulling extra duty for her staff. That I give kudos to. I love going to Old Chicago in Pueblo, Colorado. This is the first year that they did not get the MLB Extra Innings package, so we probably won't go there as often during the MLB season. Five stars would recommend! I've been coming to Old Chicago for almost 2 years regularly. (I needed something to do during COVID) All of the staff take the time to know you and genuinely care. The mini tour kick off parties are a blast! Fun games with prizes and always great company! As a female I am completely comfortable walking in alone, sitting at the bar and ordering beer or food. Ate there last night, 2/28/2022, and had so so service. We got there around 6:30. There wasn't very many people there except around the bar. They were having a good time. Our server was just ok. Not very friendly when we ordered. My husband had to go ask for my sweetener for my tea after I told her I needed some. She didn't come back to check on us at all. I've been here several times, about once a week, and have yet to be impressed. Food quality, price, and alcohol is as you'd expect at any O.C., which means it's good in my opinion. The atmosphere is also good, I like the new styling. However, our service has been terrible every single time. Servers are too busy socializing, eating, and doing stuff other than work. It's really aggravating to order a beer, watch the bartender pour it almost immediately, then it sits at the end of the bar for 7 min and 39 seconds. I timed it, because it's so regular. Twice I got up and got it from the bar myself, and one of the employees said they'd do that for me. Except they don't, and on my next beer, they didn't. Takes forever to order food, get waters, etc. I hate tipping the servers low because then I feel bad, but I don't know what else to do. read more

Thursday night special: French dip au jus. Price on receipt added on money for provolone cheese making it NOT a special. No mention cheese was extra - it is pictured with cheese on the menu. My biggest issue was the world beer tour. "Oooh out of that one" "just ran out of that one too" "nope not that one either" That's right 3 No's in a row. 2nd biggest issue - my server / bartender handed my food to the guy next to me. I mean it was in his hands set down on the bar before the two of us convinced the server it belonged to me. Hey Old Chicago! 1) Customers don't like being nickeled and dimed to death "Specials" yeah right2) You can't have a world beer tour if all you have on tap is domestic beer! 3) Don't give food to wrong guy then re-serve it to the correct customer! read more

Really horrid service... Which is really bad since Pueblo, CO NEEDS a good restaurant. Mass chaos in being sat (we were a party of 2). Went through several menus to get one that wasn't dirty. Dirty appetizer plates. Took forever to be served. Never asked if wanted a refill. Then took forever to get check... Which we were charged for an extra drink. Manager came over and said "sorry you had a dirty plate" and walked away. Food was good... As we love OC's. Will think twice about going here again though. read more

We were in Pueblo for the weekend, we did a pickup order from here. I ordered some wing and pizza rolls Togo for my son so he could eat on the way back to Denver. I opened the box of wings for my son and there was a paper or something in the wings so I get off and show the hostess what was in my wings and ask the hostess if they can make me new wings, I also asked the hostess the throw them away in front of me because obviously had a gut feeling they were going to give me the same wings hostess said they made me new wings. Long story short 30 -45 min into my drive back to Denver my son starts to eat the wing and notices the paper in the wings I call the store and was hung up on 3x I was livid. I turned around and went back to Pueblo another 30-45 mins drive to let the manager know that I was being hung up and I had notified hostess about this incident before I started driving back to Denver. Went there less than two weeks ago, I felt the wait staff might be to patient with customers. There was a group of woman at the table next to mine. One of them, throughout the entirety of my meal, was throwing a temper tantrum. Her friends kept saying "Kelly, calm down, that wasn't a roach, it was a black olive!" When the waiter walked over to check in with the table, the woman (presumably named Kelly) said "You know in some places I could have you killed for allowing such distasteful events to unfold" (sounding almost like some medieval decree), all the while her friends keep saying "Kelly stop!". While I was filling out the check, the woman then took her beverage and threw it across the room, miraculously it didn't shatter on the small child the was struck by it. Yet, no one asked her to leave, otherwise the staff was friendly and the meal was good. Kelly, if you're out there, get help. read more

Food is pretty good. Love the Italian nachos. Pan crust is really greasy but that's what you get with pan crust. Tavern thin is where it's at. Big downside is every time I order a beer from the draft list, it's usually out. Last time they still didn't have my 2nd choice, so I took it as a sign I shouldn't have a beer that night.... servers are hit and miss. read more

I love Old Chicago. I have been working the World Beer Tour since 2010. I have been waiting for a location to open in Pueblo since 2011. When this one opened in the fall of 2015, I was hopeful that this location would live up to the corporate model. I was somewhat disappointed. First, it was built too small. Only about 35 tables, and at least of them are these 10-person communal monstrosities that are designed to mash multiple groups together. This results in it always being busy and 30+ minute waits for a table not being uncommon. Second, even 6 months after opening the kitchen is slow in getting orders out. This tells me that the kitchen was built too small as well. Don't get me wrong, my love for Old Chicago is enough to get me over these hurdles any time I am in Pueblo, but I am still disappointed. read more

First time visiting. Wednesday evening and this place is packed!! Extensive beer selection from around the world!! Smitwick for me. Very nice menu. Great selection from appetizers to sandwiches to Mac n cheese to burgers and of course PUZZA. 3 kinda of crust. Yum. Good prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Is Good ,but they just cant get it right they said 20 to 25 min til we can be seated on a wed evening . They offer us a 8 burger special then present a coupon type gift card because of last visits messed up order then say we cant have the specials after we ordered and ate it !!! I ordered a veggie pizza from Old Chicago. When the pizza finally got to me an hour and a half later it had pepperoni all over it. After calling them back to correct the order the lady said "let me get a manager." Then proceeded to put the phone in her pocket and forget about me for OVER AN HOUR. I had time to walk to another pizza place, order another pizza, walk back to my room 15 mins away and eat my pizza before finally getting hung up on. If this is how they treat customers I will never return. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Don't do it. There are many reasons. Food not ordered on time, inaccurate orders and sometimes even the wrong order. But the real reason to stay away is the poor attention to customer service by the management. Why tolerate bad customer service when there are other bars in town -locally owned, that have a better understand on how to treat customers with respect.
