was not satisfied AT ALL... couple weeks ago i was given a steak that didkt even look cooked (i asked for medium rare). Today i tried again. went to order over the phone and got put on hold 4 times and asked the same thing with a new person everytime. when i got there one worker asked me what my order was and never brought it out. i had to wait for another emplyee to ask the same thing! asked for medium rare and they gave me a overcooked steak.. overall this applebees need better training with being attentive to customers and COOKING FOOD CORRECTLY read more

We got there from a 4 hour drive and got put on a waiting list . Didn't take long max 15 min. We got seated but our server was rude and just not very nice. We almost made us leave . We ordered appetizers and it came out with our food ? There's no point of the appetizers if where about to eat. I ordered the **rib platter for $28**, expecting a juicy, flavorful meal. What I got? A plate of **burnt, dry, and flavorless ribs** that tasted absolutely NOTHING like what I ordered. First off, the ribs looked like they had been left on the grill for hours--**charred beyond recognition**. I tried to give them a chance, but they were **tough, dry, and completely inedible**. This is the worst Applebee's I've ever been to. When we received our order, three of the plates were wrong. I ordered pasta without the bruschetta tomatoes on it, but it came with tomatoes on it. No big deal, I just pushed them to the side. My boyfriend ordered his steak medium well, they gave him rare. His brother ordered medium rare, they gave him well done. They sent their steaks back. After waiting around 30 minutes for their steaks to be brought back, they brought them wrong again. Our waitress, Jessica, spilled one of our drinks all over our table and didn't really seem to care much. "That was my fault, sorry" and brought back napkins for us to clean it up ourselves. I checked the bill when we received it and they charged us for 3 steaks total, we only ordered the 2. We brought it to their attention and our waitress said "oh I forgot". They said oh we will take care of that for you and took off the extra steak we DIDN'T order (nor receive) and one of the steaks that they messed up. IMO they should have removed the extra steak they charged us for AND the two steaks we ordered since they were never eaten due to being cooked wrong. It was a typically Applebees, I sat at the bar for lunch by myself. Service was just okay, nothing terrible though I did have to tell the bartender I wanted another drink after 10mins of it being empty. The food was fast and the portions I got were big. I don't expect much from some larger chains and this would be one. The atmosphere is laid back, not too busy which was nice but service could have better. read more

This is a secand experience going to Applebee's in Pueblo, Colorado. The first was about 6 months ago we went into the one on Elizabeth, we waited to be seated over 10 minutes this restaurant had a few customers and all the staff just looked at us and never said a word, we left. Then we thought we would give the on Northern a chance. We were met by the hostess seated right away. We thought looking good. My husband went to the restroom he was gone for about 5 minutes, and no one came to our table. Then I went to the restroom and when I got back still no one showed up at our table, by this time 15 minutes passed. So I went up to the bar ask the only person I saw. When I asked her when we will be waited on with no eye contact and a very rude voice, she said give me a minute. We got up left. I will never every go back to an Applebee's. read more

The Applebee's on Elizabeth is the worst restaurant I've been to. The service is awful took a half hour for drinks and brought out our food and the whole order was wrong. Took a whole 20 minutes to bring out the right order. Manager was told about everything and seemed to not even care when he came to our table he rolled his eyes and walked away. He said the best he could do was comp the meal. The meal was still 90 dollars. They didn't even comp what they said they comped. The server knew she wasn't getting a tip from any of her tables. We were not the only table that complained. The best advice I can give you is not even come out to this restaurant if you want your time and money wasted. I ordered fish and chips as part of a takeout order and was asked what side I wanted, so I asked for coleslaw. I drove to the restaurant and had my food delivered to my car! After driving home and separating my takeout order I found a container of fish, 2 containers of coleslaw, and NO fries! After calling the restaurant to complain I was informed that I asked for coleslaw as my side, not fries, so there was nothing they would do! Why in hades would anybody order fish and CHIPS, if they didn't want CHIPS?????? Very disappointing. My husband and I went in for lunch and drinks and to watch a Sunday football game. It was almost 1p. We asked to sit in the bar area where we could see the game. We were told we could sit on the upper level in the corner crowded around a lot of others that were clearly there to only eat. We said once again where we wanted to sit and were told we could sit on the other side on bar stools. We just left. No understanding as to why someone couldn't serve us 40 feet away. Perhaps the manager standing around dictating seating arrangements could have brought us two plates and a few drinks. Very poor reasoning to not accommodate customers wants. Went here for lunch today for our 16th wedding anniversary. We hear blood curdling screaming from the kitchen "Stop *ucking up, just stop *ucking up. A server walks out laughing "nobody heard it". Umm, everyone in the restaurant heard it. There were CHILDREN in the restaurant. Not so much as an excuse me from the manager. Unacceptable. Won't ever go back there again. I am a professional who is town for several weeks for work. I came in tonight for dinner and sat at the bar. I planned to order dessert and one last drink and was told there is a three drink limit???? District manager Jennifer Priest apparently made this rule for this location but not for all of the franchises owners location. I am not a gang banger looking for trouble which is apparently why this rule is made for this location. The manager has NO discretion either which is ridiculous. No wonder the bar I was empty on a Saturday night. Let's let a few bad apples ruin it and let's throw common sense and loyalty out the window. I hope this place goes under with the piss poor management on a district level. TLDR - Terrible experience, go somewhere else! This was an all together bad experience, so bad that I literally had to get the yelp app and write my very first online review ever and I'll tell you why; 1) With very few people in the restaurant I am very disappointed in our service because we didn't get plates, silverware and/or napkins with our appetizer. 2) We got our our main course and it was the wrong one, close enough to know we didn't get someone else's order but the wrong one none the less. 3) When the issue was "fixed" I had to instruct our waitress a second time because it was still the wrong order...mind you that it wasn't "rocket surgery" either since we just wanted to eat and get out. 4) When our correct order came to the table I took one bite and was done, I discretely spit it out in one of our kids menus since we still hadn't gotten our napkins yet - I have two big dogs and twin 3-year old boys, my steak tasted like my carpet smells like in our kids TV room in the basement! 5) We ended up leaving and drove to McDonald's so that our, now crying and screaming, kids could FINALLY get their French fries. Delivery I didn't think would be an issue because it's only five miles from my home but it was convenient for me just to have it delivered. Sadly, the food was nothing to write about. Tuesday night, parking lot isn't full at 1800. We walk in and the place seems out of sorts, with waitresses getting in their walking steps. Pros: Restaurant is clean and swept. Despite our recent snow storm, the sidewalks were shovelled and ice melt put down. And the hostess greeted us immediately and sat us. Cons: Food sucked. We ordered the 2 for $22 with me getting the 6oz sirloin steak and my husband the original bacon cheeseburger. We also got the honey BBQ boneless wings for the appetizer. Our appetizer came after the table behind my husband got theirs. A little disappointing as our order went in first. We got our sodas after about 30 mins. I did ask for my steak rare, but did not realize that at Applebees it means 30 seconds each side. I did not get my loaded baked potato, and did mention it to our waitress. She asked if I wanted another and should she take my unloaded potato. I said another please and I can keep my current potato for later. Yep, loaded never came. My husband's burger looked like the kitchen was trying to clean before closing and haphazardly put it together. Presention is not the kitchens strong suit. How can it take more than an hour to sit down and order and pay when the restaurant is practically empty??? The waitress for our section had to bring the table of 4 their food in sections, while taking away plates of incorrect orders. Recommended? No. My husband is a federal employee and we need to watch our finances. This was a waste and should have gone elsewhere. But in the end, food was still good. Just run from this Applebee's.....am a regular at Applebee's but the service here in Pueblo is really bad. At 8 pm, when there were very less customers, actually there were only 2 customers in my lane. I waited 45 minutes and then asked the waiter how long soup will take that I ordered 45 minutes ago just to find out that order was never placed by the waitress. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because our server was a sweetheart. Management is piss poor at this joint. A half lit sign out front, freezing cold temperatures inside, and blaming your staff members for your mistakes; three strikes! The food was pretty decent, but waiting an hour for apps was crazy. I learned that they were training, so I'm trying to be as understanding as possible, but I'm really not sure why we never had a manager stop by about the lack of service. I overheard a conversation with our server and the manager. It was unbelievable! She pretty much told her to take accountability for mistakes made by management. I believe that even if she did actually make the mistake, management is accountable. They displayed a lack of unprofessionalism and morals. I don't know why people rate this place so low. We went on a Friday night with 7 teenage boys - 13 total people in our group. Our drinks were always full, food came out in about 15 - 20 minutes and no mistakes! I had the lemon shrimp fettuccine and I had tons of shrimp - at least twice & a half as much as I've gotten at other places. My daughter had the Steak Parmesan and it was super tender. Don't eat here, they can't even cook a steak, asked for a medium rare and got a live cow, they literally passed it over once on both sides and sent it out, it was 22 dollars too the steak I received was filled with tendons and didn't come with shrimp and didn't even have the right sides, the mashed potatoes taste like a five year old got them out of a box from big lots, maybe the bar is better but the grill needs a new staff this is stupid, no medium rare steak should cover my plate with blood and be cold as the cow it was cut from, and we had onion peels in our chips. We ordered the grilled chicken and shrimp dinner that was shown on the special insert menu. Everything was extremely salty (chicken, shrimp and broccoli) except for the mashed potatoes that were good. When we told the waitress about it, she just said "yeah, I feel ya" with no apology, or offer to tell the cooks or manager. She clearly did not give a bleep. After that we never saw her again. We used the little table device to pay and had to flag down the manager to get our receipt after requesting a copy. We have eaten at a lot of Applebee's and mostly had a decent experiences. Typical Applebee's fare. Been here a few times. Our waitress was pretty cool, really wish I could remember her name as she was personable and related to our family pretty well. I think she had kids as well and gave us a big cup for our daughter which she promptly spilt on the table which was ironic because we were just talking about how she's old enough to have an adult cup. Ok, so it's Applebee's. AKA the definition of "known quantity". But, a lady friend and I stopped in here last night for some late night half-price apps and we weren't disappointed in the least. Our bartender, Katie, was top-notch and we ended up having a great chat. Also...and it pains me to say this, but the Chicken Wonton Tacos on the app menu are primo. I almost ignore the fact that they probably come from the Sysco truck in order to enjoy them, but those sons-of-a-gun are good. Katie, you rock. Worst customer service experience ever! The waitress was rude the whole visit. We requested one of the entrees without mushrooms. When the food was delivered there was mushrooms. We informed the waitress and her response was "I didn't know" and continued to walk away from us. When the manager came and spoke with us he asked if we wanted it remade. We told him "no" and he turned and walked away without another word. We seemed to be an inconvenience for the waitress and manager the whole time.
