This place is a joke and nothing like the others. The managers in charge have no clue how to run a restaurant. The poor new waitress is obviously still learning and thrown to the sharks with no back up, manager no where to be seen, not helping in anyway. There are 4 or 5 greeters none of which were getting drinks, we were here for 40 min before we got an order done. Well I am a frequent visitor to OC's in Colorado Springs, and now Pueblo has one, about time. I was at the opening and things seemed a little bit out of the norm compared to the Springs stores. So I visit the Pueblo store quite often, and the speed of service is horrible. I see people waiting to be seated and there are seats. Tables don't get bussed as fast as they should. It is not that busy but yet food comes out slow. Beer orders take time to get. They need to step up or I'll be in Co Springs more often. read more

My wife and I play a game every time we are driving in I-25, we have to guess how full the car park is at Old Chicago. It is always so full! We went early on a Friday afternoon trying to beat the rush. Well I do not know if it is possible! It is so popular. We were able to pick through happy hour menu items which were well priced. Our server was great and he made his mission to help me find a beer I enjoyed by using a lot of tasting. Overall if you do not mind a very busy setting it is good. Food was okay, nothing bad but nothing special. Really disappointed with the service though. My brothers both ordered strawberry lemonades and were extremely thirsty because they just got out of a soccer game. The waitress kept bringing them more drinks, with out even asking, before my brothers were even half way finished with the ones they were already drinking, also with no mention that there were no free refills, and this my friend is how you rack up $25 in strawberry lemonades on your bill. Lol I'm here right now, wanted a burger. All the burgers on the menu had cheese on them. I'm not much of a fan of cheese on my burger. We were kinda waiting for the newness to wear off & waiting for some better reviews on Yelp~~well we decided to bite the bullet and try it. Our server was okay~~but just get that "you're mere presence is annoying me" vibe from her. There was three of us and we all got Cannoli's~~the wait for our food was not too long~~and the taste of our food was--meh. My Mom said her Cannoli had literally one tablespoon of veggies, besides the cheese~~~~the side salad was like store bought bagged salad~~~while we were eating there, we were talking about how good Do Drop is, compared to here & in the future we will stick to Do Drop! I love Old Chicago. But not this one. The customer service is awful. We waited 45 minutes for a table, 15 minutes to get drinks, and then another 30 to get our meal. After taking home my leftovers, I found a hair baked into my calzone. I also had a friend who had a fly in his beer. The manager told him to expect that since the doors were open and wasn't offering to replace it. Needles to say, I won't be returning. I will make the drive up to Colorado Springs if I ever have a craving for OC again. This is sad because Pueblo needed some good places to eat. read more

I am glad Pueblo finally got an Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom! My wife and I went there opening night. We got right in and ordered. The service was a bit slow but the pizza we ordered was the best I have had in a long time. The beer was wonderful and I look forward to working my way through the World Tour of Beers! So if there were an option for no stars that's what they would receive. Walked in today for the first time and there were several customers waiting for a table. There were at least 5 empty that I could see i was given a time of 10 to fifteen minutes wait for a table. I waited and waited the empty tables remained empty. More people arrived and the tables remained empty. There were 4 hosts doing nothing a manager *keith) walked up and acknowledged no one still nobody was sat. I asked to speak to the manager after 20 minutes of waiting for a table. When he arrived he was full of excuses but nothing that made sense. I will definitely not go back. One reason people go to dinner is to enjoy the experience of not having to fuss about dinner, at least in our house it is. We went here last night to spend the evening with the kids celebrating another great school year 2 with straight As and 1 with near straight As (C in chemistry I can relate!). Long and short of it we had a great experience! Our server was perfect she took really good care of us in a busy setting. The food was fast and delicious everyone enjoyed the time we had here. Stopped by OC on our trip back from Mt Rushmore. It was just after lunch time and the restaurant was pretty much empty. Our server was cool, friendly and prompt. Placed our order , got our food, it was as expected. Food was really good. We ordered a pepperoni pizza with the Chicago crust. It was thick and I filled up on two slices. Overall the environment was pleasant and the food was damn good. I also want to add that I left my debit card after I signed the check and the manager Deborah was gracious enough to mail it back to me. Not many places will do that. And for that, they earned 5 stars in my book. read more

We used to like coming to this location, but it started going downhill. Yesterday we went to eat there at 4:00 p.m., we walked in and weren't greeted or acknowledged by the 2 girls at the front counter. Had to wait 5 minutes before we were even spoken to. There were several open tables and plenty of employees. Once we were seated, our waitress couldn't answer our questions about seasonal beers on tap, so my husband had to go up to the bar and look for himself. I ordered a drink, then the waitress came back and asked me if I wanted to order a drink! I told her again the drink I wanted only for her to come back and tell me they were out of the stuff needed to make that drink. It took an hour for our food to come out, which looked as if it had been sitting waiting to be delivered for a while. There was no sense of urgency what so ever while we were there. The food was mediocre, and the service was even worse. So disappointed. read more

My four coworkers and I went to Old Chicago for our Christmas luncheon on 12/22/2015. We arrived around 1120am at which the restaurant and bar were not busy. We were seated promptly at a table and greeted promptly by our server Drew, who was fabulous the entire time we were dining. After taking each of our orders, Drew repeated them back to us to make sure that they were correct, which they were. Four of the five of us got salads, three were Caesar salads. Eventually the restaurant/bar did get busy but after waiting almost 20 minutes for our salads, we asked Drew what was going on. Drew stated that the kitchen made the Caesar salads, the servers could not so he had rang them in and was waiting on the cooks. Four out of five of our orders came out incorrectly. Two of the four were actually sent back to be made correctly. By the time the remade food was ready the girls wanted it to go because we had to get back to work. I decided to then open my take out order and look at it....the top of the pizza was pretty crispy/burnt. I got the take out to take home to my Ma, who is visiting from Michigan and if i wouldn't have had to go back to work, I would have requested the pizza be remade. The entire time Drew was polite, apologetic, and embarrassed. Having been a server/bartender myself for many years, I know exactly how he was feeling. With that said, I'm also not one to complain to the manager, I felt I needed to that day though. The kitchen was horrible that day and the manager, Keith I believe was not that excellent either. When the manager got done doing what we felt like was avoiding us (we waited about 15 minutes for him to come to our table) he came to the table and I explained all of our issues. I explained I wanted to bring it to his attention that Drew was great, the kitchen was horrible and they owed Drew money for what they were costing him by messing up his orders. The manager stated that my pizza was burnt because of the sauce on the pizza....uh okay? Please don't make excuses for the stoned cooks in the back. The manager did pay for our entire tab, which we did not request all at but were very greatful for. We understand that Old Chicago is new to Pueblo and just recently opened, that shouldn't be an excuse for poor job performance and lack of concern for employees towards one another. Okay, let's get the sad news out of the way first: I am continually disappointed that they never seem to have my fave beer, Dale's Pale Ale, on tap. It's from a somewhat local brewery (3 hours away), so you'd figure that they would. Oh well, I'll survive. The food, on the other hand, is so consistently amazing, that I'll forgive the lack of my fave beverage. Also, every server my friend and I have had has been wonderfully available and kind. I read a lot of negative reviews about this ( Pueblo) Old Chicago, but thought we would try it anyway. To start it off we went on a Saturday afternoon at 1:00, not super busy but was informed that it would be about 20 min wait. Ok 20 min isn't that bad and that's about what it took. We were seated at the back, behind the community table and just out of sight of all but each other. About 15 minutes after being seated someone came by and took our drink order and told us our waiter would be out shortly? We got our drinks and ordered our meal. The food was ok, I personally thought the "meat me " calzone should have more meat. My wife's was great and rest of the meal was uneventful. We were charged the correct prices, unlike many who commented. We will probably return and try the pizza in the future. read more

This was our second visit to this location. The place had a decent crowd for an early dinner, but we were seated promptly. Our wait-person, Devon, was pleasant and helpful. The food was well prepared, but the fries were plainly not fresh and hot. They did prepare my burger as requested - a feat not easily handled by too many restaurants when you ask for medium rare on a hamburger - so chose not to complain abut the fries. Overall, a pleasant enough experience. We'll go back from time to time, but it's not a high priority location for us. read more
