2 times i went to this establishment within 2 months. The first time, my egg sandwich was rancid. It tasted and smelled like a dirty storeroom floor. The sandwich had to be thrown out. I gave them another chance a few weeks later. I could barely stand 2 bites before I had to throw the entire thing away. Bacon, egg cheese on a roll. Those 2 bites gave me the worst stomach ache, diarrhea, even 24 hours later and I cant leave my house. This is insane.. I will definitely be putting in a complaint with the board of health. I've ordered a few times in the past. My order was always correct and the sandwiches are delicious. Came most recently and ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches. Between the size of the bagels, the taste and the look of the sandwiches, it's always perfect. They give you a decent amount of lox and cream cheese and honestly, you can't beat their prices compared to Howard Beach Bagel. They had the sweetest ladies working there takin care of me and my father. I highly recommend coming to this spot and making it a regular place to come to, I know I would if I lived here. I walked in and oh my god did it felt like a heat wave hit me in my face. That is so wrong that customers have to sit in the heat like that and the employees have to work in that. There are very few places that make the bagels fresh and on-site. This is one of them. I often come here with friends and family for breakfast. There's alot of repeat customers and people who frequent the place for both breakfast and lunch. The staff is great and very friendly. A shame. This place went downhill from what it once was. I go in there for an egg sandwich.. So I see a special on the menu for a mushroom, cheese, eggs sandwich for $4.50 on either a Bagel, Bialy or Roll... She has the balls to say you ordered off the menu with a croissant and a flat bagel... $1 ea extra Plus tax.. I was like "Really??"
