Prob close to the worst chicken cutlet I ever ate

Worst chicken cutlet I ate in a very long time...do not come here unless it's for a bacon egg n cheese

I ordered breakfast from Old Country Delicatessen through Grubhub because I wanted to try a new deli in the area. When I went to pick it up my gps sent me on a wild goose chase so I pulled over at the gas station and called them up. They told me they were location in the shopping center right across the street from where I pulled over. I walked in and the first thing I noticed is they are very well staffed. I counted at least 6 employees on duty at the time. The deli counter is quite long and takes up practically the entire right hand side of the store until you reach the cashier. They have a good variety of both fresh and pre-made foods and plenty of drinks and snacks too. The guys working there seemed cool. My sandwich was good, precisely as I'd ordered it. They did not forget to include my oj, napkins and a straw in the brown paper bag. The bacon on my bacon egg and cheese was nice and crisp and they prepared it this way without having to be told to do so. No one likes soggy bacon! Eggs were great, cheese was melty and the poppyseed roll was soft and fresh. It was a very enjoyable sandwich. I will be back to try some of their lunch offerings.

House of Heros totally lives up to the hype. We were super excited to try their sandwiches (well,…read morein our case wraps because of a corn allergy), and it definitely did not disappoint!!! The Godzilla (crispy pork, cabbage/carrot slaw, with tonkatsu sauce) was packed with thin slices of perfectly fried pork. The tonkotsu sauce was slightly sweet and tangy, and the carrot and cabbage slaw was very complementary to the plethora of pork. The only change I would make next time is perhaps adding some onions (personal preference) and ask for some extra sauce. The Crispy Cuban was also fantastic spin to the classic. Again, packed with crispy pork, the sandwich was then filled with the perfect amount of ham, melty Swiss, and mustard. Nothing felt heavy. I wish I had seen the list of sides before we ordered. The homemade tater tots look amazing. Before we left, my boyfriend and I grabbed a menu and have decided to check off each one we order every week go. You can bet we will be returning soon!

Nice small deli right off wantagh ave. Stopped in here for a quick sandwich and was rather…read moresurprised how good it was. I got the California hero with thousand island which was very good. They make the chicken fresh to order which is nice. My only complaint is the cheese wasn't melted as requested. Bread was fresh as was the avacado. Service was friendly and seemed family run. The place is smaller but they do have some tables to sit and eat at. Deli as a whole was clean.
