We are so happy he is our tech and because of him and the wonderful customer service, I have spread the news of your company to family and friends. Keep up the great work and please give Dennis a raise!! He deserves it!!

I signed up with Fox Pest Control last month after a route manager came to my door and sold me on…read moretheir general pest plan. During that pitch, he specifically brought up mosquito fogging and mentioned including it in the $49/month price he quoted me as a bundled deal, since my neighbor already received this service. When the technician showed up for the first visit, it turned out mosquito treatment was never actually part of what I'd signed up for. What I'd been told verbally and what was actually in the contract didn't match. The rep either didn't know the difference or told me what I wanted to hear to close the sale, using my neighbors' service as a selling point. Instead of owning the mistake, I got two email responses from two different reps that read like AI-drafted templates with no one actually reading what I'd written. Both leaned on the same generic phrasing about understanding my frustration, but neither addressed the real issue: their own employee misrepresented the plan to make a sale. When I said I wasn't paying extra for something I was told was already included, the reply wasn't an apology or a fix. It was an attempt to upsell me to their pricier Yard Enjoyment Plan, followed by an offer to knock $10 off my current, wrong plan just to keep me signed on. If your employee misrepresents a service to close a sale, the right move is to admit it and either honor what was promised or cancel the account, not offer a discount to paper over the mistake. Every reply felt like it was pulled from a script rather than written by someone who'd actually read my complaint, which made the whole thing feel worse than if they'd just said nothing. I've since asked to cancel my service outright. For a company with such good ratings, this experience, a misleading door-to-door pitch followed by canned customer service, was a letdown. If you're considering signing up, get every promised service in writing before the rep leaves your driveway, because the verbal pitch clearly doesn't hold once you're in their system.

Project Overview I rarely leave negative reviews, but after…read morespending nearly $16,000 with Universal Pest & Termite, Inc., I feel others deserve to know about my experience. I hired them to remove a serious rat problem and encapsulate my crawl space. The salesperson, Brandon, did an excellent job explaining the process and setting expectations. Unfortunately, almost none of those expectations were met once the work began. Communication Issues The project started late, and throughout the job there were multiple days when no one showed up without any communication. I repeatedly called and texted Brandon looking for updates, but getting a response was difficult. Eventually, I had to contact his supervisor just to get the project moving again. Work Quality When they finally said the work was complete, I decided to inspect the crawl space myself. I'm glad I did. I found areas where insulation had not been installed correctly and sections that had been completely missed. To their credit, they agreed the work was incomplete and came back to fix it. However, it makes me wonder if those issues would have ever been addressed if I hadn't crawled under my house myself. I also discovered ductwork that had been knocked down during the job. Despite reporting it, no one came back to repair it, so I ended up fixing it myself. Pest Control Results What has been even more disappointing is the pest control service that was supposed to follow the encapsulation. Since the project was completed, I've actually seen more rats than I ever did before, along with an increase in bugs. I eventually started treating the property myself because I wasn't seeing results. On the few occasions they claimed they came out to spray, the visits lasted only a few minutes. It takes me nearly one hour to thoroughly treat my property's perimeter, so it's difficult to understand how an effective service could be completed in such a short time. Final Verdict This entire experience has been frustrating from beginning to end. For the amount of money I invested, I expected professional communication, quality workmanship, and reliable follow-up service. Instead, I had to constantly follow up, inspect their work myself, point out incomplete items, and even make repairs on my own. I hope Universal Pest & Termite, Inc. takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication, quality control, and customer service. As for me, I cannot recommend them based on my experience.

I have been a customer for many years and in the past impressed with the customer focused response to special customer needs. When I purchased another property in the Bayview area 2 previous GETEM technicians could not get it right. I had numerous "water bugs" (roach like pest) encroaching the interior of the home after multiple treatments. This became intolerable when the Roach like pest were now found in the beds. It was not until a seasoned 20+ year veteran GETEM employee carefully surveyed the home and quickly changed the pesticide approach eliminating any more ROACH like pest in the beds. 2 weeks ago I was offhandedly informed due to "route software" my home would be serviced by a different technician. The uncaring unresponsive "Amy" who manages calls showed no empathy or compassion. She simply showed intolerance to a customer's need to have a seasoned expert to continue servicing the home to prevent ROACHES in the bed. The request to have the seasoned technician continue was not unreasonable given the "route" was adjacent and would not require additional time or expense. The new business model of GETEM is SCREW-THEM (loyal customer). I have moved my pest services to another "family-owned" pest control business who responded within hours and whose service was superior and more affordable. Maybe my $1,000.00 a year residential account is not worth an effort to a corporate greedy company. Final parting words from GETEM ...."I am sorry you feel that way" which sum up the new business model. New Business Name should be "For-GETEM"
