Our tour guide, Julie was great at going over the do's and don't of being around them. Also, she shared beautiful stories of how this all started and information about Alpacas. They were all so cute and well behaved (didn't get spit on) haha. I apologize that I can not recall the name of the great woman who showed us how their coats are handled. I think I was so intrigued with what she was sharing that I didn't catch her name. With that said, it actually was my favorite part! If in the area, I would recommend booking this! Great for all ages :)

Started with a short presentation about the facility and alpacas, then on to the visits. We had a blast getting to feed them and petting them occasionally. Apparently they aren't real fond of it, but you can get a head rub in while they eat. They have such great personalities and are fun to be around. We also got to spend some time getting a lesson on the process of spinning alpacas fur from Nancy. Such a great job showing us how it is done. They also have a small gift shop you can visit after for some really cool alpaca products, post cards, and such. This was an unbelievable experience that I would highly recommend. We are already planning to go back with other family members. Please, give this place a visit!!!

Admission was only $6 per person, and children under 2 are free, which makes it an affordable outing for families. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They answered our questions and gave us information about the farm. The barn is on the smaller side, but there were still plenty of animals to see, including ponies, goats, chickens, and sheep. Outside, we also saw a turkey, horses, cows, and a pig. We visited around 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, and at one point we had the entire barn to ourselves, which made it especially enjoyable with our little one. Storytime for little ones is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. After visiting the animals, we explored the produce market and were impressed by the variety. They had fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious pastries, breads, jams, and lots of other tasty snacks to browse. If it's your first visit, I'd recommend going during one of their scheduled activities so you can experience the tractor ride as well. There was plenty of parking, and I appreciated that they had a changing table available for babies and toddlers, which made the visit even more family-friendly. Overall, it was a relaxing, low-key outing that's perfect for families with young children. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to experience more of what Tanaka Farms has to offer!

Low-key and charming, with some unique surprises. Chief among them, the craft apple cider cocktails. I got a mule and my daughter and wife got a tasty, smoky Bourbon revelation in a glass. (Well, actually a plastic cup, but I'd drink either out of a rusty hubcap they're that good.) "Would you like some ratatouille crostini to go with that?" "But of course!" (Best call I made all weekend!) Sit by the fire or find a spot of sun at one of the scattered tables. Walk around and explore. Go to the creek at the back of the property and listen to the water go burbling along over the rocks and through the brambles. We were there early (just short of 11 a.m.) so it wasn't too crowded. If you want a commercial experience, go to the Village or else where on the mountain. If you want something truer, go to Stone Soup Farm.

This farm has always been a family favorite, we've taken the kids here year after year due to its beautiful scenery and very nice staff. The store sells awesome marmalade! The tour is relatively short, but very informative, which is perfect for kiddos, and there's very few people compared to busy weekends! The activities such as panning for gemstones and candle dipping are very fun for the kids, and I cannot say enough good things about their new children's garden! I highly recommend this farm, they have beautiful private picnics as well!

I chatted with Tiffany about the services she provided and she made it very smooth and clear what it would be like. Very reasonable pricing for the amount of work they have to do to bring these little guys places ! Our favorite out of the bunch was the little mini rooster as the kids were able to hold him and would do a little *cockadoodle doo* which everyone got so excited for. When it comes to animals we were so happy with the rest of their selection for a small get together for my son. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone else. It was on the back of the card scan the QR code and it was that simple. They had animals you could feed. Which cacey my daughter was scared but she did it and overcame her fear. The only reason I came was to see my daughter and make sure she knew her dad came like I said I would. The place was packed so I'll highly recommend to come early and save up for this one because if you coming with a family of 3 or 4 the tickets will run out fast. But I do recommend this. I give it a 4 because they need to do better at the parking giving discounts for veterans
