Can lightening strike twice in the same place? Not…read morenormally but damn, have I lucked out with stuff at this Kohl's. Same premise as last time. I needed new kicks (man I hate that term) and remembering that last year I had some really good luck here I went to the well again. Low and behold they still had the exact same style in stock, in store, on sale, with the ability to add promo-coupon-discount codes and by using the old lady's Kohl's card there was another discount. The email came an hour later to come on down and pick things up. The only hiccup came when I got to the customer service desk in the store as they didn't have the order at the desk so someone had to be dispatched to find where the shoes were. Two minutes later shoes in hand I took off. I would rather core my eyes out with a melon baller than go shopping but if you have do it and if you know exactly what you need this system from Kohl's works exactly as advertised.

The return desk asked me if I accepted "Kohls Cash". NO. I paid in real money and I want real money back. I was told to call and request a prepaid return labe. No Kohls doesn't do that (40 minutes waiting for a person). I paid $ 15.65 in return shipping. I received a letter from Kohls dated 4/26/24 stating "here is your receipt with return amount details". I was NOT credited. I received fake Kohls Cash. What a scam !! Surprise Kohls, I just filed a dispute with paypal and I WILL WIN !!

Second time at this store and I had to make a return since they didn't have the same item in a…read moresmaller size so the staff, Denise was doing my returns and then the "store manager", Tia started touching my receipts and items, so I spoke up and asked her what the matter was. She said she needs the original receipt. I said this is the original receipt (I am going to email corporate a copy of all this) because she started to get loud and said because she is the store manager, she can. I said excuse me? I said Denise was doing my refund and you decided to interrupt us and now you're giving me a hard time? Tia continues to say, she is the store manager and it's her job. Is it really your job to be rude and obnoxious? My items had tags and receipts but because I spoke up for myself, Tia had an issue with that. Don't "abuse" your so called store manager privilege. Tia then decided to cancel my refund and ask me to leave her store. Talbots, how do you hire a store manager like Tia to represent your company?! It's horrible and degrading to treat someone like this and keep in mind, there were other customers in the store too. How can Tia act so unprofessional?! And please check your store cameras to validate my claims. From the minute she walked in, she decided to give me a hard time when a customer is allow to make returns if the items are too big. I definitely want corporate to review this and she should step down from her so called Store Manager role. Being kind is very simple. If Tia can't be kind, then she should not be working with customers at all. The only reason I am speaking up is because I do not want this to happen to any one else especially elderly who can't stand up for themselves. And Denise said, she couldn't process the return either because she has to listen to her store manager, Tia. Horrible work ethics and shame on them for treating people like this.

We walked up to the entrance and immediately noticed 2 ROSS security staff standing near the center desk area. Great to see because loss prevention should be at top of every retailers priority. We showed them our cash register receipts as we left the store. Inside, the assortment of clothing and home goods was mediocre. Many rack were organized into categories and easy to find different sizes within the departments. The staff, especially the head cashier, was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Teresa was beyond helpful, even getting us started with fittings while she balanced another client and she was extremely helpful in helping us decide how many uniforms to purchase and what other children at our school typically wear so my kids would fit in (our school has a lot of uniform choices). The manager kept checking on us to make sure we were ok and to answer any questions, and Robin helped with getting our items embroidered quickly and kept us updated on the minutes left until all of our items were ready to go. Yes, things take longer but that's because they take their time with each customer and everything is custom embroidered, but you leave there with everything you need for the school year. Honestly, wonderful customer service - we will definitely be back next year to order directly in store.
