Wow am I still in shock, what a complete lack of empathy and customer service from the tall curly haired man with makeup. I was shopping with a shopping cart with a baby in the seat, and he previously helped me with a fitting room-so he clearly saw the baby. I took the cart with me to the car as I had my hands full, not knowing that wasn't allowed? I'm buckling the baby in the car seat, she's crying, when I hear the cart right behind me, and with out a word, the employed rudely grabs the cart and as I look up startled he says, (so rudely!) next time don't take the cart outside, you can't take them out of the store, I apologized and said I had no idea and explained that I had a baby and a bunch of bags, even though you could CLEARLY see why I needed it. No remorse, no apology no registering of anything I said, just rudely cut me off with yeah, yeah, for next time don't remove it. OK if this is a rule that they have that's fine but how hard is it to say things nicely. I was genuinely so apologetic when I was speaking to him. I am an in-home caregiver, and I was shopping with the lady I care for, who has dementia. She needed to exchange a pair of jeans but couldn't find her receipt. The manager on duty (I wish I'd caught his name!) didn't just dismiss us or make the process difficult--instead, he went out of his way to help us. He patiently looked up her past purchase to ensure the exchange could be completed, which was a huge relief. But it didn't stop there! He personally went back and forth to the jeans section and the dressing room multiple times, helping us find the perfect fit. He even took the time to explain the difference between petite and short-leg jeans, which made all the difference in finding what she needed. His kindness, patience, and above-and-beyond service were truly exceptional. Made a return and purchase. Asked Aryanna if she would please throw away the Old Navy plastic bag (from online shipping package) and her response was "unfortunately I can't". I was a bit shocked and asked her again cause I wasn't sure if I heard her correctly. She said her garbage was full. I could fit the bag in my hand if rolled. Never experienced that before. I of course can throw it away myself. She just had awful customer service. She was a jerk. I wasn't rude at all to her from beginning to end. I actually love Old Navy. I love their prices, their sizing and their fun colorful clothes. The staff is always nice and helpful. What I do NOT like is the massive line that I always have to stand in to get such wonderful bargains. I really wish that they would staff appropriately for the cashier positions. The clearance area is my favorite to rummage through, but it would be nice if it was a tad more organized. The birdcage location seems to have the smallest of clearance area. This location is usually where I find my jeans though as they seem to have better stock than some other locations. Great customer service! I needed help to find high waisted shorts I ask one employee and she was nice but not too helpful. Then I was about to leave another employee (didn't catch her name) but she had short colorful hair ask if I needed help with anything and I said not really just looking for high waisted shorts and she walked me to where the shorts were. I love this location, the people are always super friendly and helpful. The layout of the store makes sense and the spaces between the racks are wide enough for their carts to fit through. Old Navy is my go to for all festive holiday wear, and their kids clearance never disappoints. The store is always clean and well let. Much nicer than the Old Navy that was taken out of Birdcage and is now Stein Mart. When you walk in you go to the left for men's and to the right is the ladies section. Staff is friendly and they are good about calling backup when the line is too long. I come in every once in a while and usually find a thing or two. Ladies, fun jewelry selection surprised me! Well organized and updated often leaving lovely gems (pun intended) for clearance! Watch out if shopping with little ones - they sell sodas and candy bars at the register. Thumbs down. read more

I have done the curbside pickup twice at this location. The first time I was given an order for someone else with my same first name & had I not have checked the bag, I would have left with someone else's order. This time when I went to pick up my order, I was told that it was already shown as picked up, so they gave my order to someone else. It is store policy to check IDs but they are not doing so. I will never again do curbside pick up from this location - they are incapable of following protocol or taking the time to read both the first AND last name on orders. read more

The in store experience is not great. The women in the fitting room were very nice but on a corporate level, really bad choices have been made. Everything has holes in it and are really odd and unflattering shapes. Finally found something and I pulled my email up to purchase and I asked about the friends and family discount and entered my phone number. I asked how to use the discount and I was told my item didn't apply so I could use my rewards and that was it. I went online later to look at the many things not carried in store and to find that my item should have been discounted. I called the store to have someone talk to me like I was a moron and then tell me I had to come back to the store to have it fixed, after speaking with a rep online who told me that they can't assist with that online and if I called the store, they would be able to assist me with the discount over the phone. Nope. Just got attitude and told that I had to come back in. I don't live close at all so I just got to waste money today. I won't be going back. read more

They have signs posted and announcements over intercom that masks are required. A family was in the store and the man had his mask under his chin. A girl was outside watching a toddler and they kept running thru the store with no masks. The man and woman finally went to check out and the store associate did not ask them to wear their mask properly. They also walked past a store associate named Daniza multiple times and she never stopped them to enforce their mask policy. If my daughter had not been in the dressing room I would have walked out of the store. I will not be back! read more

This place needs a visit from Weights & Measures. Signs throughout the store are advertising one price or a sale, but go to check out, it's not correct price or on sale & management is not honoring it. Signs out front advertising kids clothes as 50% off, then inside it says select styles, but nothing in the department was priced at 50% off. Then I found a pair of kids jammies that I wanted. There were 4 on a rack (2 of one style & 2 of another) marked $4.47. However, they were $16.99, not on sale. Melanie, the manager moved them & said they weren't on sale & refused to honor their mistake. Then she pointed out another sign that had several clothes marked 30% off & said they weren't on sale either. I have never been so disappointed and disgusted with a shopping experience in my life! First off, good luck getting any service until you've walked the entire store from corner to corner at least five times looking for someone. I found a pair of black slacks in the correct size that I wanted to give as a gift, however, they were absolutely filthy! Not only were they completely covered in lint they were also heavily soiled with dirt and dust. I finally found a sales rep and she offered to take 30% off but I wouldn't have purchased them at 90% off. They were so disgustingly filthy that I would be ashamed to give them to anyone as a gift. The online site said they had more in store in the correct size so I asked the sales rep to check. She said she would go look in the back storeroom. I watched her go to the middle of the store, return to me and told me there weren't any in back. I had already selected other items, so I let that go and continued shopping. Several items I looked at had no tags or prices whatsoever so I didn't opt to purchase them. There was no one attending the fitting rooms. I didn't dare explore the clearance areas because it literally looked as though a tornado hit them. I finally selected several items to purchase and went to the register. We were in line for over 20 minutes attempting to check out. I finally get to the checkout. The cashier was a pleasant young lady, however, I had an issue at checkout. I'm a card holder and I had an offer to buy $60 and get $20 off in my email. I purchased $90 of merchandise but she said the computer wouldn't allow her to put the code in because one of the items was ringing up as a clearance item and those were excluded from the offer. That is fine, except I didn't purchase any clearance items. She informs me it was a sweater I bought and calls the manager over. The manager goes over to search for the sweater and what rack it came from. I ended up having to leave the checkout to go show the manager where I got the sweater from. There are others that are identical hanging in the same location which was not a clearance rack. She tries to tell me that sometimes customers pick something up then put it where it doesn't belong. Really? With several other sweaters? A customer decided to move the entire stock of sweaters and put them on the wrong rack? I pointed out to her that the sweaters had no clearance tags on them and that it also was not ringing up at a reduced price. Still she refused to honor the offer and insist that it was clearance when it wasn't. She became extremely rude. I asked for her name and she said it was Angela. I asked for her manager and she said she wasn't in. I went to the car to call corporate. They said if I wanted to go ahead and buy an additional non clearance item for $30 the general manager would rectify it later and said that Angela should have honored the offer under those circumstances. To top it all off, I found something I liked, had a tag on it but no price. I went to their price check scanner, scanned it and it said, "item not found". I walked around to find a sales rep and she said she couldn't figure out the price either. She took it again, went up to the front and finally found out what the price was. Then we had to wait another 30 minutes in the checkout line once again. I definitely won't return to this location and the experience may have turned me off to Old Navy all together. The store was filthy and disorganized! The staff, extremely rude and unhelpful for the most part! The customer service is beyond poor! The employees stand in corners talking to each other while customers roam the store trying to hunt them down for assistance. Just an atrociously run store! read more

This is one of the newer Old Navy stores located in the Birdcage Shopping Center next to Target and behind Ulta. You can't really see it from the street so turn into the shopping center off Sunrise by Target and you will be OK. There aren't many businesses right next to it, so parking is easy. Inside the Men's Clothing is on the left, Women's Clothing on the rift and Kids Clothing in the back. I came in one weekend looking for some pajama pants for my Husband who has purchased many other pajama pants in the past here. Unfortunately it isn't the season for pajama pants (?) or they have cut back on their selection because I only found a few pairs that I wasn't too impressed with. The store was a little messy as it looks like they were stocking the shelves during the middle of the day and I didn't come in contact with any employees during my visit. I would come back here if I were looking for shirts and things for my Husband, because he doesn't mind the shirts here. It has been years since I purchased anything from Old Navy for myself, because I find their sizing to run a size larger than other stores, and everything always stretches out. So with an XS being the smallest size (sometimes they have XXS) I don't fit into anything. They also seem to size all their pant legs, and shirt arms for someone who is 5'6" tall, because at a little over 5'8" tall, everything always seems to be a little too short. read more

I feel really bad writing a bad review because the girls at the registers are just trying to help and I know during Christmas it can get hectic, however I was really shocked at the lack of training & customer service old navy is giving their employees. The manager Mel, was awful. I had an easy problem, turn into a complicated mess last night. I ordered a jacket online and wanted to return in store & exchange for a smaller size. They were going to place the new order for me since the jacket was unavailable in store, and none of them knew how to do it. They tried getting the manager to help, but their own manager didn't even know the customer help number... yikes. She was not helping her employees AT ALL. And the poor girls needed her. I've worked in retail and it's just not a great way to treat your employees. Mel needs more training. I really hope she steps up. I even requested to speak to Mel and the girl at the register (Ashley) seemed terrified to ask, she said "oh I did ask her but she's not coming up" ?? What kind of manager is that? Anyways, at the end of the day it's just a jacket that won't get to me before Christmas and so be it. But wow, mel, please provide your staff with more training. read more

I've always been super lucky that upon walking in looking for clothing for any of my 3 kids they have some great sale I just can't pass up. I really like seeing my kids in bright colors. I also like it when their clothes can take a good beating without wimping out on us either by breaking or ripping because of wear or fading because of having to be washed very often. Well, Old Navy lives up to those high expectations. They normally have the cutest tee's for girls with all kinds of crazy little prints on them for a great price and for my boys I love their jeans. The only thing I will never buy is anything that says Old Navy where it shows as I believe it is stupid to pay for an article of clothing where I will be advertising for a store. If you want me to advertise for you... I will happily have my kids wear it but I'm most certainly not going to pay YOU to do it. Most ridiculous thing I ever heard of... customer paying to advertise for a store. I will wear certain clothes with a brand on them but not a store's name for goodness sake. The employees have NEVER gone out of their way to be friendly but if I score a great sale on jeans for my kids and I know what I am looking for I rather be left alone anyway at a store where everything is easy to find. The person at the register has always been OK and on rare occasion friendly. They also put these annoying little sensors on their jeans that you have to cut off but they don't tell you. I've washed jeans prior to wearing and somehow my kids still set off alarms at the stores when they walk in making us go nuts trying to figure out why we are setting things off. I had an employee at Walgreens ask if my daughter was wearing Old Navy jeans and that was how we figured out what was setting the SHOPLIFTER alarms off. Got home and cut it off a bunch of others that we never noticed. So there it is, the good, the bad and the annoying. I am a fan though. read more

I've recently become a fan of Old Navy, mainly because of their special sales and if you have their credit card you get even more offers. The other day I was in and got their basic cami's for only $2.10 each! Thats a great deal plus their soft v neck t-shirts were less than $5 too. This location is clean and newer and things are set up the same as in other stores. They have a jewelry area but not as big as other stores (Natomas) but better that nothing like the one on Howe. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist you. Keep a look out for their deals cause their regular prices aren't that great. I don't think I ever boughten anything if it wasn't on sale or clearance. Look for those big deals like 40% off everything in store including sale and clearance those are the best. read more

Old Navy Flip~Flops are the Shit........ Yes...... yes they are...... I have determined that along with purses, baskets, jewelry, scarves and several other "items" including flip flops I am a bit of a connoisseur... And to date Old Navy flip~flops are the best I've found across the boards for colors, durability, longevity, style and comfort not to mention their uber low affordability in pricing.... This past Monday's haul of them didn't disappoint.... Had no idea we'd hit a great sale where we would get an additional 30% off of most of the items we'd purchase and so myself I scored the following colors in women's flips: hot pink, flamingo pink, orange, neon green and black if memory serves and the highest priced pair was $3.00... AND they had them ALL in my Sasquatch sized lovely 10's ;)~ For buying flips in September IE: the end of a season I was floored to see so many amazing colors AND in such a large volume.... Longevity: Yep! I am hard as hell (unfortunately) on everything.... Have been since I was a child and can recall my family talking amongst themselves as I'd open my Christmas and birthday presents from as far back as I can remember saying: "Lets see how long it takes her to break it"......... I'm proud to say that I still have more than several pairs of Old Navy flips that are well over 6 years old that are still going strong and look awesome... To date haven't lost one pair to the typical deathly occurrence that plagues all flips at some point in their lifespan which is the toe attachment that connects to the sole of the flip coming up and out or breaking off all together... I also have a closet full of Old Navy clothing that still rocks it and looks like new after several years of regular wear and laundering..... Old Navy clothing is some of the most comfortable I've experienced to date and well...... It can taking a beating which means it was made with people like me in mind aka: The accident prone..... HERE's what I LOVED: Helpful store associates! Yep on two occasions I asked two different people where things were including the cashier who rang us up and all 3 were super pleasant, smiled and helped me immediately locate what I was seeking... CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! Yep! Super clean store with the items for sale neatly folded and hung for sale... Individual CHANGING ROOMS: Now this was a new one on me but they are strategically placed throughout the store for a 'quick' try on or a longer one if you like and you do NOT have to be checked in by a person and told you can only take 3 items in at a time... Love this concept and its highly functional as well.. Good Form Old Navy geniuses who came up with that idea... Pricing: Damn hard to beat this chain for durability, style, function-ability and price. WHAT I DISLIKED: Lack of selection in the men's department.... Why is it that the dudes nearly always get the shaft in so many stores? I've noticed this strange phenomenon since first shopping for baby clothes for my nephew well over 13 years ago and was amazed at the 100001 options for baby girls and 20 for boys..... Us women/ladies/girls/chics like our boys/men dressed stylishly, comfortably and with OPTIONS just like we have... So lets get with the program Old Navy and then I can give you a 5 star rating but not until you correct this area..... Will be back to the store just have no idea when as I have to watch myself as I enjoy shopping entirely too much ;)~ read more

The Birdcage location moved into its new building next to Sports Authority in 2012, and I have to admit, I am a fan. Everything from the displays to changing rooms to registers is bright, colorful, and well lit. The layout is different and items face all directions, so you may have to do a few laps to find what you are looking for. My go to spot for the basics- I just wish their jeans fit my shape. :( They just don't. Too loose here, too tight there. I love the sales, coupons and discounts. Use your Old Navy card on Tuesdays for an additional 10% off and that is after any other coupon or % off. read more

I hadn't been to an Old Navy since I was in high school, so when my mom wanted to stop by here to get some Sweetheart jeans, I went with her. Upon walking in, I noticed how huge the place was. The store itself was also very tidy and looked pretty standard as far as Old Navy stores are concerned. Their clothes, however, were a different story. I assumed for some reason that their clothes would be like Banana or GAP but to my disappointment, they were not. I found their clothes to be hideous. I literally didn't see one thing in there that I liked, even though I actually tried on a few tops that didn't look too bad upon first glance. Their clothes also looked and felt cheap. I'm giving them 3 stars, though, because, in all honesty, though I didn't care for their clothes, they still deserve a decent rating for their good customer service, clean store, and having affordable prices. read more

They have NO maternity section in this store. It took me forever to find an employee to even ask. Everyone seemed to be at checkout- Store didn't even seem that busy. The response I got from the employee I asked was "there is some random maternity clothes in the clearance section." The clearance section looked like a complete nightmare. No thanks. I'm not always a huge fan of Old Navy. Some of the stuff seems overpriced for the quality. The simplistic designs of the fashions do appeal to me, however, so I often shop the sales. This store is pretty jammed full of merchandise. It's hard to wander through some of the displays because they're over crowded. When I was there last, the managers were rearranging some of the displays and I always seemed to be in the way. Kind of annoying. Save it for after hours! The changing rooms are in the middle of the building, which kind of threw me off. I'll continue shopping here, but it's not my favorite store. read more

I went in to this store hopping to get a pair of jeans... walked out with disappointment. It was still about 15-20 minutes left before they closed the store. Music was off, the sales representative wanted to let me know that in about 15 minutes, they were going to closed. I am fully aware of it because you turned off the music. #awk I can hear you guys talking about what you need to do left in order to close the store. I get it that you guys are trying to close up but do I need to hear that while I am enjoying my shopping?
