I purchased a pair of shoes that unfortunately did not fit. Before buying this pair, I had purchased a smaller size when it was not marked as Final Sale. I returned that pair and purchased a half size larger, expecting it to fit better. However, the larger size was not only longer but also much wider, making the shoes look oversized and uncomfortable on my feet. I explained the situation to the store manager, Annabelle, hoping she would make an exception given the circumstances. I wasn't trying to break the Final Sale policy--I genuinely expected the larger size to fit because I had already exchanged from the smaller size. Unfortunately, she completely ignored my explanation, showed no empathy, and made no effort to help. She didn't even smile or try to have a respectful conversation. I was left feeling like she simply wanted me to leave the store. I shop at this Anthropologie location and online almost every week, and this experience was completely different from what I've always received in the past. The previous managers and associates were always friendly, professional, and provided outstanding customer service. This was the first time I've ever felt so disappointed. Policies are important, but great managers also know when to listen to loyal customers and handle situations with kindness and professionalism. Sadly, that was not my experience today. If you're purchasing Final Sale items, especially shoes, be very careful. Even if you are simply exchanging for what you believe will be the correct size, you may not receive any flexibility if the fit is completely different.

After finding what I wanted she even went out of her way to check online for other options and showed me the Layne Bryant app on her phone, and showed me how to use it. We were immediately greeted by a cheerful employee and when we said we were looking for shorts, she didn't skip a beat and asked "men's or women's sizes?" I loved that she didn't assume anytime. My wife wears men's pants and shorts almost exclusively and hates when people assume otherwise. It wasn't long before we had a few pair that my wife wanted to try on. We were hesitant, not knowing if dressing rooms were open yet-you know, Covid and all. Another employee noticed our hesitation and invited us to pick any room and go ahead and try them on. We ended up leaving with a couple pair of perfectly fitting Levi's. (I can call them that because they actually are Levi brand.) The price was a little steep-a little over 100 dollars for two pair. But from what I know about the brand, they should last awhile.

Their clothing is largely on the more trendy side- probably bordering on my fine line of what I find as being my style. The only problem was that one of the girls there was a tad pushy- I don't think she quite had an understanding of my style by the types of things I was picking out and she kept bringing by things telling me that "oh, this was super cute" and "these sold out so fast" and it got a little tiring. When so many businesses are struggling, I can see this one growing, as will only the best stores. I'll make it a point to stop there on my Park City trips, I'm way up in Brigham City. The new location also has a stroller/wheelchair button to open the door for you, and I'm loving it! This new location is also more spacious, with a little more room to navigate with a stroller/car seat. Overall, I really like Carter's clothes (and their associated brands). Some of the new releases are expensive, but if you can get it on sale or take advantage of the rewards program, you can get some great deals. I also highly recommend utilizing the in-store pickup, although some staff members definitely seem to know what's going on with pickup more than others.

If you sign up for their email notices you get extra deals. Something is always on clearance, so I try and buy for the next year's season to save money as Carter's can be expensive.

Select what you want, try them on (yes!! they have dressing rooms!) and pay for it all in one transaction. The inventory is hit and miss; each seller has their own "style" as well as sizing. Some sections have only women's clothing, others have a mix of mens, womens and even children. There's a small poster above the rack that explains what you'll find in that section. I love supporting local folks and this is a great way to do it. The pricing was also fair-not quite thrift store, but better than what you'll find at the mall. I was happy with my finds!

However they legitimately had a ton of expensive name brand clothing for pretty low prices. The set up was a little confusing though. They have "stalls" and each stall has different types of items and entirely different pricing and deals. It's almost like individuals are able to rent a stall to out their stuff, but I don't think if thats actually how it works.
