I'm disabled and every year I bring all of my employees to Old Navy for a big shopping spree. We typically spend about $5000 or so. This year i had to sit in my car the whole time because there was no seating available. Backup was finally called when shopper #8 came along. 2)Same day, the gentleman was clearly stressed out as I entered the fitting rooms. He had a speech he barked at me to bring everything out of the fitting rooms but I overheard him say the same to someone else. So I wasn't singled out 3) They don't match online prices. Bummer The good: 1) The folks on the floor are helpful in finding what I am looking for. 2) I shop here for cute clothes at reasonable prices so I need a physical store to try stuff on. Warning: they are trying to scam you. I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel like people need to know what's going on here. I ordered two items online for in-store pickup. Right after paying, Old Navy canceled half my order, claiming it was "out of stock." Not even 10 minutes had passed. Annoying, but fine -- I figured I'd just grab another color when I went to pick up the rest. Fast forward to me walking into the store... and there are TONS of the exact jacket they claimed was "out of stock." Multiple colors, multiple sizes, and even random stacks of them all over the store. Clearly, these never went out of stock. When I asked about it, the employee gave me a very rehearsed (and honestly unbelievable) answer about it "just now coming back in stock." No way -- not with that many on display. Then it got worse. When I tried to repurchase the jackets in person, the total came to $75 for two, even though I had paid $60 for two online. When I pointed out the price difference, I was told, "Oh, they're cheaper online." Okay... but how exactly are customers supposed to buy the cheaper online price if Old Navy is cancelling orders and pretending items are out of stock? It feels extremely misleading and honestly like they're trying to push people into paying the higher in-store price. I just want to warn others: Old Navy is listing items as "out of stock" online (even when the store is FULL of them) and then charging higher prices in person. SCAM. We went here as a family to purchase our 5 year old some fuzzy pajama bottoms after my sister mentioned they were having a big sale and she goes in and out of sizes quickly being tall like mama! Man do they grow fast! She picked out 3 pairs of Micro Fleece Pajama Jogger Pants in Fair Isle Multi, Beanie and Bat which were cute and cozy on her! She also picked out 2 pairs of Gender-Neutral Matching Holiday Cozy Socks for Kids, which she'll grow into being one-size and the Kids Unisex Fashion Socks 6 pack, which fit perfectly! This store is HUGE. Almost overwhelmingly huge. lol, but you are guaranteed to find something to purchase! I came in looking for jeans and was a bit disappointed to find out that sales at each store are different. I was at the Elk Grove location earlier and their sale was $15-$25 for certain style of jeans and this location had no sale for the same style. Rare visits at Old Navy now I don't often shop at Old Navy anymore since my daughters are all grown up and Old Navy clothes are not their style LoL! but once in a blue moon I come in here and catch a good sale (for me). Well, they always have a ton of sales running and on my last shopping trip I found some sundresses that were 50% off (and not in the clearance section). I wasn't really planning on opening another credit card but with an additional 30% off it brought down my purchase even more. I came back 3 times that day to take advantage of it. Unlike some stores where the dressing rooms are not available for use to try on clothes because of Covid, Old Navy's is open. What a relief of not having to go through the hassle of purchasing first, go home and try them on and if it didn't fit go back to return them. There is no separate line for return transactions. All transactions are formed in one line of 20 or so customers. Ugh! The salespeople are friendly for the most part (at least the ones I've dealt with) and helpful when I needed some direction in looking for a particular style of clothing. Well, I'm heading there now to use some Super Cash coupons before they expire. My credit card usually gets deactivated for non-use before my next return to Old Navy. That's how often I shop here... Funny how the service here hasn't changed much. The shift supervisor was discussing percentages of sales & credit card opening right next to me. Discussing about whoever opens the most credit card will receive a raffle ticket to qualify to win a movie ticket. She was talking to two other girls, and none of them even acknowledged me or said Hi. Not even bothered by the presence of a customer and kept discussing percentages and assignments, didn't even lowered her volume or discussed somewhere else. Price is better in the store than online that's why I still bother going in. Selection is always nice in this store but they really have to step up their customer service. Maybe because workers here are predominantly a certain race and not care about everyone else. There was only one cashier and she was pleasant and encouraged conversation, I appreciated that. This is a really good store. For instants it has a good layout and everything you need. Especially right now and I have a Clarence there is Clarence every year, but I mean everywhere I mean every single. Make sure you come to the back of the store left and you'll see everything. Take for instance I bought a shirt that was originally $12 for $.47. How are down if you close an atom is there a reason why 3499 for $1.47. I had a very bad experience with a store manager called matt. I came in with two banana republic gift cards that had less than ten dollars and wanted to cash out as california law allows that. I held on to that for months but had no use. When I reached the store, this manager was all about how to humiliate and deny what he should have done by law. He first tried to turn me back saying banana republic gift card cannot be redeemed. Upon showing thats incorrect his next try was asking how did you get this gift card and the history of it, none of which need to be enquired to redeem the gift card. I stated the CA law and he was arrogant and refused to follow it. He started raising his voice to humiliate me. I left the store and called up Old Navy corporate who said what he did was unprofessional. They escalated it to senior management who finally agreed it was a mistake and he will be trained. This was a very demeaning experience at the store. Not only did he not follow the CA state law about gift cards but was either ignorant or plain lied citing silly excuses just to deny my claim. read more

I came here today because I need to get some new work pants and I was recommended by it by my new employer so I came in here right away. The staff was very friendly and I asked if anybody could help me find khakis since that's what I have to wear my new job and the girls and Help me was very friendly. Help me pick out various sizes and told me that if I need to order them to go out front and I would get free shipping online, and I found a pair that fit perfectly and I was able to order them upfront with the cashier who was very friendly and informed me about the credit card that they have and I told her that I already had one but thank you and I was able to put my phone number in to get some reward which was nice because he doesn't like saving money. This is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere very white selection of items to choose from not just for women for men, kids, teens, and much more definitely a place for the whole family. Definitely very affordable. Very happy with my experience today. Very happy that the staff went above and beyond to help me find the perfect pair. I've been to several Old Navy locations and this one has to be my favorite. It is the closest Old Navy store in my vicinity. I'm so glad it is! I stop here on occasion because the items that I have purchased here are some of my favorites. I have frequented this store a number of times and have always been pleased with the service. The staff is very friendly and always so helpful. Wide, open aisles, easily accessible to carts, strollers, wheelchairs, etc., makes mobility a breeze! Comes in handy when they have the last pair of yoga pants and you gotta get to it, "quick!" The clearance section is organized by color, size, and price! Sweet! Makes shopping on a budget, so effortless! I don't shop here all the time but when I do, I've always been pleased with everything about this location. read more

I'm sadly disappointed with the selection Old Navy has moved toward. I used to promote their identifying of women of all body types when it comes to jeans. I went into the location today and the majority are mid-rise and skinny. When asked about curvy/high rise jeans I was told that there might be some on clearance but nothing else - Well this was the main reason I would drop a &$ for Old Navy - I've found out Kohl's has a better selection focused on body type. I was in town visiting my parents and popped into the store on 1/14/21. When I went to the fitting room, I asked the young woman, Summer, working there if ON still carries flare yoga pants. She said she'd see what she could find out while I was in the fitting room. I came out and Summer had located the pants online, offered to help me order online right there to save me shipping. She could not have been any sweeter. On my way out, even though I opted to use self-checkout, another young woman was ensuring we knew she was there for any questions, ready to help. I came to Old Navy to buy my granddaughter in law 4th removed some socks. I was bombarded with many options, it was impossible to narrow it down! I was approached by a gentle and feeble polite young woman named Balley. She informed me that I was in the wrong section and too look in the little girls section rather than bid tall males. I then found a fuzzy pair of unicorn robot socks my granddaughter hated them. I was then resentful of Balley for this horrible choice until i came to return it and she processed my return and saying that those were baby socks. Honestly the last time I shop at this store. Bring in a coupon received in the mail but cannot use it because it's on my husbands old navy card. Even though I could go online and put in the coupon code, they will not accept at the store. Then when I go to pay, they will not accept a 50.00 bill straight from the bank. I was just checking what time Old Navy opens today and noticed the horrible reviews. I thought I'd write a review as well, hoping that corporate finally realizes that this manager needs to go. She is cranky, rude and belittles her customers. I have three children and used to spend quite a bit of money at this store. After a few bad experiences, I decided to stop shopping here. It's been over two years and I haven't been back. I've been looking for some bike shorts for young girls and can't find what I want. This Old Navy location is super busy, and with that, you expect some things are going to be off. Basically year-round, merchandise will be found all over the floor, or haphazardly strewn over other items. As someone who has worked in retail, I know that there aren't enough employees to keep a store tidy from customers who just throw things wherever they happen to be standing, but this location takes the prize in being a disaster area. My big gripe, however, is their check-out process. A person purchasing one item will stand at the register for a good two minutes before their transaction is completed. This isn't due to slow computers or being asked to sign up for the store credit card, but because their employees are super slow. And because this store is super busy, the lines grow fast. When you're standing just inches from other shoppers, it gets hot fast. Yes, there are random free-standing employees that will check you out, but they are pretty hard to find outside of the Holidays and Back-to-School seasons. Standing in line for forty-five minutes to buy one item when there are five associates checking people out is ridiculous. read more

I shopped here back a few months ago and earned 130.00 In Super Cash I thought wow that's cool . Well when I go to turn it in you find you have to have a separate transaction for each 20.00 super-cash you have so after shopping for a hour 1/2 we finally was able to separate are stuff because you have to spend 50.00 to turn in a 20.00 dollar coupon so we get up to the counter and I told the guy we had 5 separate piles and he assured me not to worry that he knew what we needed to have so we could cash them in well let me just say I will never shop OLD NAVY again I not only paid more than I should have but I still had a 20.00 super cash left and I said how did that happen he said it's your sub-total and even had to purchase a 4.00 bottle of water and a chap stick for two separate transactions I was so done I just paid and left . This is a very frustrating place to go. I was 5 days past the return window of some items for my son. I have a 13 month old at home, so I'm lucky if I get to shower, much less ever leave the house. Unfortunately there aren't many places to find toddler shoes and I ordered some online in hopes that I could return what I don't want, but again- I was five days too late. The manager offered to let me make the return for store credit, but failed to mention I needed to be approved for that through an outside company. Old navy has their returns processed through The Retail Equation which keeps tracks of all of your returns, at all stores. You can request your Return Activity Report through them. And also what Old Navy fails to tell you is that they report your returns to them and those returns might adversely affect your ability to return something elsewhere in the future! So great, now another report to monitor for false information. Again, none of this was disclosed when I went to make my return. I only found out because my return value was too high. I'm done with this company and will be shopping elsewhere with less shady practices. read more

This is a great Old Navy store, probably the biggest in the Sacramento area and definitely has a huge selection and clearance area. Stopped in on a particularly cold winter day with my auntie and we ended up staying way longer than expected because we found jeans for $1.97, fleece snoods for $1, fuzzy socks for $1, and so many other great deals. The quality is hit or miss, and styles are simple, basic, and easy to wear. They do have a huge active wear section and a maternity section, which is nice. Generally a great place to get easy staples and basics at a good price. read more

My wife came here last night around closing time about 10 mins to close and only needed to run in super quick and check on 1 thing...only to be met at the door by a super cocky employee who holds up her hand with 5 fingers up and blurts out "we close in 5 mins"! Totally taken back my wife and daughters were pretty pissed at this point...after a quick look my wife turned around and walked out on principal alone. Not one employee talked to anyone or my family. Arriving home, I had spent a few minutes lounging around on my bed.. It is a fabulous mattress....a Serta pillow top from CostCo...and I literally have to stand on my tiptoes to get my butt onto the bed because on the risers, it has risen another 1/2 foot off the ground. And the minute I make contact, I'm assimilated into the the cult of mattresses and can easily be seduced into slumbering. But, I was rudely awakened by a call from my sister, who said: "Hey, where are you? Get your butt over here." Oops. I forgot that we were going to the Old Navy in Roseville, located across from the Galleria mall. Oops. Well, first off, I can't be seen here since I'm not white. Secondly, I NEVER venture to Roseville because my ex lives out here and there are just some people I choose not to be friends with for the rest of my life. Third, ugh ugh, I realized why I'm never here: talk about lack of diversity and animosity toward single people who are not married-have no kids-and don't drive an SUV. I think my sister and I were the only Asians on the road and with no kids. I pull into the parking lot and am immediately in danger of being sideswiped by some blonde soccer mom driving a humongous SUV and she swerves right in front of me. She's doing this, while yakking on the phone with her bleach blonde stripes-like-skunk hairstyle is whipping around her over-tanned wrinkled arms and a set of three children in the back seat holding on for dear life with their Demon-ride-like over the neck straps. Old Navy is perfect for people on the run. The clothing is cheap, some are stylish, and wearable as coordinates under other fine types of clothing. I've been able to procure a simple white cotton t-shirt ($12.50) here and wear it underneath a suit. My workout shirts are all from Old Navy....my current fave being a slightly sheer Grey T-shirt that says Chicago across the front of it, purchased from the clearance racks for $4.99. Yesterday I was not really in the mood for much browsing, but did locate a great bright yellow cami that actually looked okay on me and managed to cover my fuller-than-most-Asian front. I'm not a great supporter of stripes, but they did not make me look bloated like a killer whale. $14.50 and I was out the door. I've been to several Old Navy locations and have to say, that this location is by far the cleanest, which makes for an easier time for perusing. I'm going to base this review on non-peak hours. I always encounter friendly, helpful employees and the sales floor is usually clean and organized. Occasionally I cannot find what I'm looking for, such as a certain size or color, but I know I can usually just order it online (thought I never do). Do not make the mistake of coming here on the weekends, especially during back to school, holidays, or other big sales. It's a crowded nightmare and you'll be waiting in line forever. read more

I've been shopping at Old Navy since it first opened in Colma back in '94 and I've been obsessed with it ever since. It's a great place to find what I like to call "disposable clothes." The quality is not that great but sometimes, I don't really care about the quality. I wouldn't exactly buy a basic black suit or skirt here, but if you need clothes to lounge in there Old Navy is where it's at. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and given a card where you have the opportunity to either win a coupon or $10,000. Unlucky for us, someone won the $10,000 an hour earlier. Dammit if only I had not done my makeup and hair before we left the house, that could've been us!!! This location is always well organized, with the newest items in the front and the current promoting items in the middle aisles. Right now it's all about yoga, I'm guessing this is to get all the new year newbies into the gym. They have a ton of fitness gear right now for women, not so much for men. I find that the men's section is extremely limited compared to the women's BUT the men's clearance items are so much cheaper than the women's. My husband was able to find two pairs of jeans for only $5, they fit really nice and I like the way his butt looks in them. Ladies isn't that what really counts? He also found graphic tees for only $2 and a jacket for $10. All I found was a pair of sweats for $5, which is great because that was the only thing on my list anyway. Nearly half of the store was marked down, 50% off the marked discount price. The fitting rooms were actually pretty clean but I found it strange that the two girls working the fitting room didn't check anyone in. From a loss prevention standpoint, I can only imagine what their shrink percentage must be. You could easily steal dozens of items and leave totally undetected. Wait in line wasn't too bad at all. We didn't walk out.) after being one of those customers you get behind and you go from a happy happy mood to total anger and to add to it only 9 days until Christmas. She had to ring us up 3x's bc my daughter gets a discount but only for certain stuff and then I opened up a card forgetting I had a freeze on my credit so that added more issues. I love old navy clothes but this store has ridiculously long lines and cashiers who never seem to know what they're doing. When there's 15+ customers in line you need more than 2 people checking out. Especially when one cashier needs to stop to train the second one. It's not any better when you order online and pickup in store. You wait at the counter for someone to help you AFTER they help the in store line. Terrible customer service. This has become my favorite Old Navy location. I don't shop at Old Navy often, but they really impressed me during my last visit. I was buying a massive amount of kids backpacks for work (like 20+ backpacks)...a sales associate offered to take them and hold them behind the cash wrap since I couldn't carry any more in my hands. He was also nice enough to bring a shopping cart to me! When I was ready to pay, they had someone get a cardboard box from the back so I wouldn't have to carry a ton of bags to my car. Their customer service was absolutely amazing that day! I wasn't really expecting it considering the "Old Navy price." I also noticed that this store is bigger than others in the Sacramento area. The women's section had a noticeably wider selection, including maternity, activewear and sleepwear. The clearance section was huge - at least five round racks! This is my favorite Old Navy store I have been to! They have a large selection of jewelry which I love and a huge clearance section! I mainly stay to the Women's section though because I don't have time to sift through the clearance stuff and the prices are usually cheaper on a regular sale anyways. The employees I have come across are always friendly and helpful and the store is always near and organized. The only complaint I have doesn't have to do with the store, but with Old Navy in general... Their clothes run LARGE! Even their XS most of the time is way too big. I come here often and always see a bunch of stuff I like, but I can never fit into anything! Boo :(. They either need to start making XXS sizes or making their clothes more to size. This is my main complaint because most of the time I can only buy accessories and the occasional tank top here which sucks because I want to buy more!!! And I know I'm not the only one. read more

You somewhat know what you're going to get at Old Navy stores. Decent looking clothes at an okay price. Sometimes you get some nice looking clothes, sometimes they have great deals, and sometimes you see prices and wonder if you're shopping at Gap. Management at this specific location is an absolute joke. They're more worried that their employees stay in compliance and take their breaks, than the actual customers shopping.
