Is it me? or has the quality of their adult clothes gone down, but the prices have gone up? You can never go wrong shopping for clothes for kids here tho because they have an awesome selection for kids. For adult clothes in the ladies section... it's kind of like they gave up. I love Old Navy for the basics because they are cheap. And as one reviewer pointed out... it is supposed to be the cheaper brand of the Gap companies, for those who cannot afford to shop at Gap or Banana Republic on a regular basis. So yes, the quality is not as good, that being said, the jeans that I have bought at Old Navy have outlasted jeans that I have purchased at Banana Republic. However, I am not a fan of this location. I like the fact that the store is big, but for some reason it feels more empty than other stores of this size and there are never any staff members on the floor to help. That being said, there was only one guy at the registers trying to get a rapidly growing line of customers checked out. Having worked at an Old Navy, if the line was over three people, they would call other staff members to open registers to speed up the process... but if there are no associates on the floor, then it makes it difficult to do that. It is surprising as this was a Sunday afternoon... not a weekday where you wouldn't necessarily expect a surge like that. Quality at Old Navy in general seems to be going down. That's too bad because from 2002-2005 it seems like I only shopped at Old Navy. Recently I bought a pair of pants there that was so thin it felt like it would rip the next time I wore it. This seems to be indicative of the Gap in general, the parent company of Old Navy. Again, you will find parking challenging here because the parking lot is way too small for the amount of traffic the mall generates, especially on movie nights at the movie theatre. read more

I used the "Buy Online, Pick Up In Store" feature for the Mira Mesa store. The email saying the order was ready and to go to the designated pick up stop ("no waiting in line!") it says. WHAT A JOKE. No less than TWO associates stood there pretending like we weren't standing there clearly waiting to be helped and one of them just walked past us without even a greeting. We ended up walking out. This is the first time in a while I've purchased from Old Navy and it'll definitely be my last. At least they have automatic cancellation so I don't have to attempt getting some semblance of service there again. read more

Always clean. Always helpful. Be careful crossing the parking lot to get there. People are crazy. Never had a hard time parking at this one. Don't expect super high-quality clothes. That's not what this place is. If you wat something pretty cheap/trendy. This is the place. read more

They have really great deals here sometimes. I scored some fleece sweaters for $5! They have good quality clothes for very reasonable prices. It's not my most favorite brand but there's usually a thing or two I like. This store is pretty large and roomy. The only thing is the clothes get messed up a lot and I wish they'd make more of an effort to tidy up. I know it's really the customers that make the mess but it's the employees job to keep it neat enough for the next customer. I'm less likely to buy something if I have to dig through a random pile of shirts to find my size than to quickly look through an organized folded stack. This store usually has a good inventory. Otherwise they will help you order the size you need. I also like that they started doing email receipts. It's so much easier to keep track of and saves paper. I wish all stores would do email receipts. read more

I came in looking for pajama pants recently. They had quite a large selection for $7 each. When I looked closer, they were all sized M, L and XL. I have noticed this with other items, so I asked an employee if this was normal and he said that all the smaller sizes tend to go first. I would think an inventory manager would recognize that and order appropriately. You can find some basic shirts for under $10, which is great. Sometimes under $5. All their other stuff is not really worth it. The checkout line here is really slow too so you have to ask yourself if this purchase is worth waiting half an hour to check out when there's only one person in front of you and they have two cashiers. Part of the problem is that they don't enforce their own line. They have a sign way out to the side that says "Line starts here," but when people go ahead and start their own line, they will take those people before they take the people who were there first and in the designated line. read more

OMGosh.... I am not an Old Navy fan... but my wife is a HUGE one. Every now and then she'll drag me along with her, basically so I can follow her like a puppy, wining about when we can go. It has a cool clearance section, which is what sucks my wife in. Damn you clearance section. My biggest request is that they put some park benches or something in front, OR, what about a couch and tv for us men and kids. That way we can chill out and have something to stare at while our wifes spend our hard earned cash. I know the spots in the malls all have the luxury of having mall benches outside... but here, not so much. I am sure if they added a comfy couch for me and the boys to chill on... the wifey would probably relieve me of more of my money while I sat patiently. Then again. Na, dont put out a couch or a bench for me to chill on... it will save me money, hahahaha read more

Store employees need to learn when to keep their mouth shut. Experienced a cashier being extremely passive aggressive to a lady this last week. Brought it up to him and he just kept trying to "defend" himself. He literally dig himself in a hole to the point where I will never go back to this Old Navy because I don't want to be one the end of some 20 year old mans passive aggressive attitude. He was rude, insulting and kept reminding me that he works there and I do not. He also kept pointing out that he attended the Women's March multiple times which I have no idea how he connects being a kind vs passive aggressive employee with attending a march. read more

I love shopping here! They always have great sales & clearance items for under $4. I usually shop here for my kids, but they have great clearance items for youth & adults. Yes, you have to check racks & tables but it's worth it! Plus, save your previous receipt (take survey) & get an extra 10% off your purchase. I like their standard styles and cheap (not necessarily bad quality though...I've kept quite a few Old Navy stuff for a while) clothes. Especially their clearances...but you have to do some digging to find something in your size but when you do, they are great deals! Their jeans also fit me and are affordable. read more

I was just at this Old Navy today and got great service as usual. The manager, Brent, was so helpful. I had bought some extra uniform pants for my son a couple of months back. When he took them out this morning to wear, they didn't fit him right. I couldn't find the receipt but went anyways to see if I can exchange for the right size. Brent, checked his store for the correct size but could only find one. He called Fashion Valley store and reserved two more pairs there. I was able to go and quickly get the right sizes without any problems. Their employees always greet you as you enter the store and will help you locate your size and even check the back room for stock. If two people line up at the register, they'll even page another employee to come help cashier. The store is always kept clean and organized and most of the time you'll see plenty of new stock in various sizes. read more

The has got to be the WORST Old Navy ever! I went here at lunch today to get a pair of yoga pants and was shocked. I have never seen such a messy store in my entire life! It was terrible! Also, the lines were crazy long and the employees were just standing around not helping customers at all! I was very impressed with my recent trip to Old Navy, I went there looking for cloths for my girlfriend. But ended up getting many t-shirts and Shorts for myself, because of there awsome prices. Their staff member Mario, made it real easy for me to find all the items I was looking for. He even convince me to sign up for a free Membership Card, so I can save on the current purchase and future purchases. This old navy is neatly maintained. Big and spacey store. A lot of selections. Staff is nice. Like coming here for sweaters and hoodies, and flip flops and such. Good place to shop for children. I'm not the biggest fan of Old Navy, their clothing just isn't my style or taste, but I do love their jeans (sometimes) and their active wear!! For the price the active wear is the best that you can find; I have about seven pairs of their active pants in both Capri and legging length and they've stood up to over a hundred washings still looking brand new! The yoga bras are amazing as well and provide enough comfort for my not so excessive "girls". Their jeans are a hit or miss; the rock star jeggings seem to be two different types of material, some are more stretchy than others and so for better. I haven't tried their other jeans but I do know friends who love their boyfriend and diva cut jeans! read more

I went here with my 2 year old looking for a gift. Can I just say how easy they made it for me to shop with an active 2 year old boy. They provide stroller-like carts which are actually pretty cool and very few stores do that. Also they came right up to me and asked if it would be okay to give my son a free balloon. HECK YES they just bought me 5 more minutes! I got the gift plus a dress and pair of pants for myself. Very happy! read more

i LOVE this store... They have great things. I find alot of clothes for my daughter and they are always having sales (prob. why my daughters closet is over flowing) and wtih the coupons that you get from the FB page it makes the sales every better. Today when i went (the sale and online coupon was too good to pass up) they were having trouble reading the coupon but the Manager was REALLY kind and entered in another code that gave the same discount. ONLY issue i have wtih this store. is that thay always have XS and S in womans but not so many of the larger sizes..which is hard because if you find something you have to buy it right than and there because it won't be there again. read more

Old Navy Factory Outlet in Petaluma, CA--Their jeans smell terrible! I didn't realize it until i got home and put them on. After only minutes I had a splitting headache, which disappeared after I took off the jeans. I've read that their clothes, made in China, have dyes that are processed with formaldehyde and other chemicals, and that the smells cannot be removed. I'm returning the great Boyfriend Jeans I just bought. I hope to find some decent jeans that are made in America. read more

I drove up here twice from downtown San Diego and twice I had the rudest experience from the dressing room attendants. First, I walk in and two managers are standing there chatting it up and I had to interrupt them to ask if there was a restroom. No hello when I entered. The dressing room attendants were so rude and acted as if I was putting them out. I will never be back to shop up there. I was looking to spend some $$ and get some new clothes, but put all of my stuff back and walked out. RUDE! read more
