Went in to pick up an order yesterday around noon decided to look around found a pair of pants go to check out the lady helping me looked nice I guess but then and she grabbed my item folded it up she spoke to her coworker " these pants make people look fat" in Spanish and I looked at her with shock maybe she lacked brain cells or common sense or just both. Maybe she didn't know I speak the same language and lacked intelligence but anyone in their right mind wouldn't say that in front of a customer. Let me start by saying that I love bargains. If bargain shopping was an occupation, I'd probably switch professions. As I get older, I am more willing to invest in quality pieces rather than constantly cycle through poorly made clothes. It's no secret that not all ON items are made well. However, ON has recently become my go-to for workout clothes. It has cute designs and very reasonable prices, especially if we can score a sale (which isn't hard to do at all if you just keep an eye on the website). The quality is on par with my Gap workout clothes and I actually prefer some of their pants to my Nike ones due to better fit. I am particularly impressed with the cleanliness and organization of this location as well as the friendliness of the staff. Sometimes it can be hard to get assistance at bargain stores, but here, the staff at the fitting room was happy to bring out my size from the back with a smile. read more

So upset that I couldn't wait until I got home to write this review. Found what I needed but I was helped by a young male cashier (didn't get his name). Did not even say hello! Just grabbed my item, scanned it and TOSSED it back to me and after I paid. No "have a nice day." Silence!!! Your job is so easy just to talk to people like you can't even pretend to be happy? Old Navy keeps its stores clean, although more than a little disorganized. There is a very large selection of pants and shirts, and it's no surprise that the costs are low. This Old Navy is in a beautiful location next to some other stores like Home Goods. read more

I went in for an interview. The manager Lynette brought me back. Asked me 1 question which was a lil about me. Told her I was a student moving I to the area and I'm looking for future employment. She then said "you have too much going on in your life right now, I can't help you. Find a place to live then come back and see me." Like how am I supposed to find a home without a job? She was incredibly rude, insulted me and gave a biased look towards me and had no empathetic thought of meeting me in the middle. The interview literally lasted 2 minutes. This manager has no idea how to operate a store. Or how to treat possible employees. Let alone how they treat their current ones. read more

Epic fail! Not a soul in the store and I never saw an employee until I left the building! I had a heap of clothing and had to wait for another customer to leave to get a dressing room which was filled with someone else's left over try on clothes. This store is a mess, constantly. Today I walked in 30 minutes after they opened (with maybe 1-2 other customers in the store) to what looked like a tornado had hit the store. Clothes everywhere. Stuff on the floor. Items unkempt and unfolded laying everywhere, not even in the correct section. The worst part? There were easily 3-4 staff members walking the floor doing what looked like taking "inventory" in this mess and I did not witness a single one of them pick up, fold, or hang up any items. This is the second time I've come to this store and treated unfairly and especially by a manager (deja) maybe not even her real name. First off we had a nice talk about me shopping at deja antique store and she was somewhat friendly as soon i brought up the return her attitude change. The item was defective and she proceeded to deny or to replace it due to the policy of return. That "policy" is not shown in the receipt. I understand we are under a pandemic but a defected item is a defective item. Dont get me started on customer service,its hard to find anyone to help out and when you do they are all on their phones while speaking to me. They use that same phone to check prices yet they wont allow me to download that app it would be so much easier than asking around the price of an item. From now on its only online ordering or I'm driving to bakersfield where I'm treated like a valued customer. read more

Messy inventory. The cashier with the green and yellow hair was very nice and professional. However, the male cashier with the glasses (#2539495) was extremely rude to my friend. She had two coupons and asked which one she would get the better deal on. He told her that she would have to "do the math". Just wanted to complement one of your employees. Her name is Stephanie and she works at the Froom Ranch Way store. The store was crazy-busy and I thought there was an error on my receipt. As it turned out, something got into my bag that I hadn't intended to buy. She was stocking and dropped everything to help me so I wouldn't have to stand in the long line. The store gets three stars. service is usually great, staff friendly, store clean. The fitting rooms stay clean. It's quick to get in and out of. However: I normally love the items I find at Old Navy. I don't usually splurge on full price jeans because I'm weary of the fits/sizes old navy offers. I bought the Divas because they fit like a dream in the fitting room. I MEAN PERFECT! Halfway through a normal day of wear, however, they stretched out to resemble my husbands jeans. What the heck. I found them to be baggy in the butt, the knees and the hips by the end of the day. I wanted a long, slim, skinny fitting pant, and these definitely morphed into gross fitting slouchy pants. I have given them a shot twice now and hate how they stretch out so easily. I start my day feeling and looking good and then feel like my pants stretched out three sizes by the end of the day. Won't buy any jeans from old navy again. REALLY wish I could take them back and get a refund but unfortunately, I no longer have my receipt :( Beware the expanding Diva "Skinny" Jeans! Updating my previous review about Old Navy. Again, I was in to buy socks for my son. I was utterly mortified by the mess of the place. I have been to thrift stores, to discount stores and to WalMart. Never have I been to a place where there is no pride in the store whatsoever. I cannot describe the ghetto effect of that place. I phoned the manager today and she sounded like she wanted to just say "Yah, whatever" and could not get off the phone fast enough. She told me they cleaned it today (one day would not have been enough!) but I cannot imagine that this store was ever allowed to get into this condition. It was PILES of non-folded clothes all over every table, and racks of clothes all disheveled. I will not go back in there. Online shopping or change to a different brand of socks...I'm grossed out by this lame store. I should have taken pictures, because the messiness was unbelievable. And this is in SLO...I mean really...HOW could it have been so entirely ghetto like????????? MAYBE Old Navy might take a look at the people they have working here....could it be that you need some more responsible people? Perhaps an adult or two??? read more

I love Old Navy. When I want to go shopping this is the first place I go. This store in particular, I love even more. It's always clean, I can usually find what I'm looking for easily, and the employees are friendly. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that at my most recent visit, I found a bathing suit I really liked, but they didn't have it in my size on the rack. I asked one of the employees if they had any more in the back in my size. She went to go look, came back and told me "no" in fact they did not have it in my size, however, she would go check other stores to see if they had it in stock and they could ship it to me for $5. One of the stores that had my size (supposedly) was in Bakersfield. Since my mother lives there I told them I would just have her go get it for me. Well I had my mom go to the Old Navy in Bako and they did not have that particular bathing suit in my size. I called the San Luis Old Navy back to see which other stores had it and if I could have it shipped. When I called back a the guy I talk to said that their store DID have the bathing suit in my size and would I like him to hold it for me. I ended up getting the bathing suit, but it would have saved me a headache and my mom a trip if the first employee had just looked a little harder. read more

Yesterday I took my granddaughter to do some clothes shopping. Great sales. Lots of choices. However when we got up to the register with one item we waited over 30 minutes to check out. We had one inexperienced cashier, a manager who by the way told all of us in line she could not wait on us because she was the manager and a cashier who explicitly stated she just came back from a break that she has a right to, The wait was so long that the women with babies has to deal with screaming babies now. Really do we have to experience this in Old Navy? How about the manager jump in and help her team check people out then go back to stocking shelves? No good customer service for Old Navy,...If I need anything from Old Navy it will be online shopping for me. I didn't drive 20 miles to shop at a store with inconsiderate employees. Also, someone is needed to straighten the shelves, racks and just general assistance to the consumers. read more
