I love shopping at old navy, but this one associate there rubbed the wrong way. I'm a woman of color and I thought I was tripping but no, this lady named Kailey had her eyes on me the entire time. Not in a customer service kind of demeanor, but more like loss prevention as of I was going to steal something. And I only say this because NOT ONCE did she come up and interact with me or offer to help me find anything. But everyone else near me, she had no problem walking up and talking to them so friendly like. Like???? Is this what customer service is now? Treating people like they're potential shoplifters just because of the color of their skin? Honestly, better off ever coming to this location again. Normally, I always price match all of my items off the Old Navy app which the Trinity parkway location ALWAYS honors but this location for some reason doesn't. Customer service at this store is awful!!! They're incredibly rude and unwelcoming. I don't know how they remain in business. Returning online orders at this store is a complete headache. Today while shopping, a sales associate literally followed me and asked if I was planning to purchase every item I picked up to look at; she seemed agitated that she had to re-fold the t-shirts. I will never shop at this store again. They should take some lessons from the trinity parkway store, which has amazing customer service; they are very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. read more

I love Old Navy because I can get lots of basics like leggings, tank tops and tees. And I love being able to go to one place to shop for myself and my son. But this particular location...yikes! It is almost always wrecked. WRECKED. Old Navy in the Weberstown Mall in Stockton, California Yelp Challenge. 34/100 We come to shop at Old Navy only a few times out of the year : sales, sales and sales lol. I have three kids, so I have to be on point when it comes to deals. So when we're walking around the mall we'll pop in and see what they have to offer at that time. I have two teenagers and they both have thier spots just like me, where we get certain things at. My youngest doesn't mind where she gets her clothes really. VD'S tip: I never pay full price for anything. We don't do it big here, just socks, T-shirts, gym shorts, pants and whatever else we find on sale. But I do like the Old Navy flip flops they sell. They're perfect for shower slippers or just chilling in them. I also like getting us the Old Navy plain shirts with the their emblem on it. I've only bought one pair of cargo shorts here for myself. The sweaters they sell are pretty good here to. Customer service has been okay, nothing ever really stood out. Helpful when you ask for something. So yeah, when they have the next big sale. I used to work at this Old Navy...wayyyy back in the day. So long ago there was still an exit on the parking lot side. People would walk from the mall right through to the parking lot and shoplift on the way out. This place was a complete mess when I was here yesterday. We visited Old Navy later in the day thinking that I would be able to find a good selection of mens clothing. There was one or two sections of mens clothes and a couple of empty sections and no other. Even in the clearance section there was minimal mens clothing. I don't know what happened...maybe they are waiting for a big shipment or maybe they have decided that us guys just don't matter anymore. :0) read more

I was in and out of this location. I told myself not to get sucked into anything that I couldn't live without. I did the once around and didn't see anything that caught my eye. In the past I've seen "deals" that were worth my attention, but that was not the case today. The merchandise seemed somewhat stocked, the clearance was well groomed and the summer tank tops were tidy. There was just nothing that struck my fancy. I was in the store about five minutes and walked past two sales associates while I roamed. Neither acknowledged me and no one asked if I need help finding anything. Clothes have definitely classed up a bit and this is one of the spots I hit up to look like a young professional and the young adult that I am AND still works within my budget. I usually walk straight to the back to peruse their clearance racks because that's where all the magic happens. Especially when they have their "take an additional 50% off clearance items" sale, it is wonderful. This particular Old Navy is always fairly clean and organized. The staffers are super friendly and there has never been a time where I was not greeted or asked if I needed assistance. I wouldn't normally write a review for a store as mundane as Old Navy. The quality and price of clothing are average and besides the occasional coupon its nothing to get excited about. However I just have to give them a 5 star rating for the extraordinary customer service I experienced last night. I bought a few things among them 2 pairs of childrens jeans which were advertised at 2 for $30. Well when they rang up it came to the original price for one pair at $19.50. I didn't notice because I used a facebook coupon and at quick glance saw an amount taken off so figured everything was priced right. After I walked out I took a closer look and saw the discrepency so I walked back in the store and asked about the transaction. Davina, who may or may not have been the manager, apologized numerous times. It took her a minute but she made the adjustment and even gave me and extra 10% off for my trouble. All I wanted was the few dollars difference. I ended up getting the jeans for $8.50 each! Way better than Black Friday prices! Thank you Davina!!! read more

Their clearance racks were full of XS clothes so that automatically gives them 5 stars. And not cheapie girlie type tiny clothes, I'm talking about clothes I can wear to work and look squared away. For someone that has an extremely hard time finding decent clothing due to my size, this was totally awesome. Just went here and purchased two clearance items in the back. I got white pants and a skirt all for under $25. Since they didn't have people manning the dressings rooms, I went in there a couple of times to try on stuff. I hate it when people are there monitoring what you are doing. Freedom is nice. Overall this Old Navy is decent and has great bargains. read more

Where's the love for Stockton's Old Navy? I'm perfectly happy with our store. The only thing that irks me is the trek through the mall to get to it. If you are so inclined, you can venture through Forever 21 and dodge a few mall rats or two (that, and see the moms that are pretending to shop for their daughters.....lol)! I've been to the store in SoCal by my kids' digs and yes it is a bit larger but I certainly can't say the store it much better. My personal fave is the sweetheart jean, especially when they're on sale. My only gripe? If you want your sweethearts in a tall, so sorry, you'll have to purchase them on-line-boo! There is a bonus to shopping Old Navy on-line, you can read the reviews to see how a particular item wears, fits (true to size or not) and get the skivey on the quality, then proceed to your ON and buy without shipping fees (as long as you don't need talls). A new discovery? I found a whole department of fitness clothing which I really liked. I treated myself to a new Curves outfit since my calorie counting has paid off. I wore it for the first time today and felt pretty cool in my new threads-all the old crappy Walmart stuff is history in my Curves bag. It's funny but if you feel good about the way you look, a workout can be more fun and productive! Thanks Old Navy for your new line. Being an old married couple, my wife and I often go out to eat together once a week, and then I accompany her as she shops, trying hard to not die from boredom. Yesterday, we shopped at Old Navy, where she hoped to use a $30 coupon, only to find that the system said she had used it before. How could she have used it before? The document has to be surrendered at the point of service..... Anyway, she had another one and had to pay less than $10 for a couple of skimpy-looking pieces that were probably made in Thailand for $3 total. Bottom line: she informed me that she could have purchased gently-used tops in a thrift store for about the same amount. She proclaimed that she will never shop there again, and I have to agree with her. Personally, as I browsed the store, I was unimpressed with the merchandise and selection, as well as the overall store appearance, especially the raw concrete flooring. Look for Old Navy to be the next victim of the general trend away from malls and specialty clothing stores.... read more

I always get greeted at Stockton Old Navy and asked if I needed any help by a sale associate, not once but usually twice. They are always friendly and helpful. Sometimes the clearance is a mess rarely and mostly tidy. If there is mess in the clearance, we can only blame the customers who don't put things back or pick them up if they drop it. I know we are all in hurry, but at least be a kind and considerate customer. Great clothes for kids and myself. I can always find deals there for my basic casual wear. read more

I was in Stockton for an appointment and had brought some old navy items that needed to be returned. I love going to the one in Manteca (I live in Tracy). But I was right down the street from the mall so I figured I would get it out of the way and just go to this location. Boy..I should have waited. The customer service was terrible! I was helped by Auroa (I believe that's how it's spelt). No hello, no greeting what so ever. And just to note I was the only one in line at this time so it's not like she was being rushed or anything. I told her I had a return and that I had the receipt on my phone. She looked as if I was taking up her time but since I have worked in retail before I always make sure to have my receipts handy and the card I used to make the purchase to make the transactions quick and easy. She took my phone and starting tapping it I told her that the screen was ready to be scanned not sure what she was trying to do. She scanned it and during this whole transactions she didn't speak a word. Now I'm not looking to exchange life stories or anything but I mean a little conversation would have been nice or even ask me why I wanted to return the items something! The cashier next to her seemed very friendly, had I know I would have waited for her. Once everything was done she grabs the receipt and places it near her register and walks away I say "is that it?" She shakes her head and that was it. I gave 2 stars for the fact that the store was big and had a lot of selection. But Auroa definitely ruined my experience their and I will definitely be sticking to the Manteca location. read more

I went to a different location to look for orange flip flops to give to my bridesmaids at our wedding reception for 'dacing shoes.' When I went in the store, I couldn't find any orange, so I went online to see if the store I visited was just out of stock in orange. Looked to me like that was the case because I found "ORANGE" flip flops online right away. The color says orange online, it LOOKS orange online, so I ordered a bunch. However, when I got them in person, they were NO WHERE NEAR being orange. They were coral, at best, but looked more on the pink side. Needless to say, they don't match my wedding colors at all. I took my purchase into the closest old navy store (this stockton, ca. mall location) to return them and just get black ones. (Our wedding colors are orange and black, so black was boring, but the next best thing.) We were there early on a Sunday, unaware of the later hours, so we waited patiently for the store to open and were the first customers in. The first clerk to see us was a young man who greeted us, looked at the large box covered in Old Navy tape in our hands, and booked it. We stood around for a few minutes starring at him and two other female clerks until one of the girls told us she could help us. She seemed irritated and was incredibly rude. I told her my situation, that I wanted to simply do an exchange for the "orange" flip flops, and get some black ones in their place. She told me I needed to go grab the black ones before she did anything, which is perfectly fine. However, when I asked if I could leave my big box of "orange" ones with her, she told me "no, just carry them with you." Which seemed pretty ridiculous to me. I returned with all my flip flops shortly. After she rang everything up for the return, and processed it, she THEN informed me that I would need to wait 24 hours to see a credit for the "orange" flip flops, and I was just going to have to purchase the black ones seperately as a new transaction. She then handed me the receipt for the return attached to my original online purchase receipt, where I saw that she did not credit me for the $8.00 or so that I paid in tax and shipping. I asked why she hadn't credited the tax and shipping because it wasn't MY FAULT the shoes were incorrect, it was false advertisment on the companies part, and she told me "that's just how it is." So on top of getting a highly dissappointing color, having to take the time to go into the store (which isn't close to my house at all), having to deal with rude customer service, I have to lose out on money as well. Despite how inexpensive the flip flops are, I'd rather go somewhere more expensive and get at least some DECENT customer service. I will NOT be shopping at Old Navy again. read more
