This is the Old Navy down at Sugar Land and it's one which we come to fairly often when we're shopping in the sugar land area. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, and it's typical Old Navy with typical store prices, and when there's a sale on you can find some good deals. Store was clean and spacious when I arrived. I was looking for maternity clothes which they sadly don't carry instore anymore (They told me online only) Even though they told me they may have some in the clearance racks, the clearance racks don't have a specific area for maternity and I don't have time to go through every piece of clothes to check if its maternity or not. If I could give 0 stars I would. Poor signing techniques caused me to pick a pair of pants that was $26.99 instead of $6.99. I had my kid wear these out of the store instead of the too small pants we walked in with on. Although I still think both row of pants should have been $6.99 since there were identical styles on each row, but different colors both rows were sweat pants. It's Houston and 90° So no one in their right mind will be purchasing sweats for $26.99 but that's fine. I told the cashier if that is the case, we will instead take a different pair of pant that are $6.99. I had my kid go back to the fitting room and remove the $26.99 pants and put on the $6.99 pants. I instructed my kid to bring me back the higher priced pants so the cashier could put the tag back on them. At this time the cashier next to mine chimed in asking what the problem was. I explained to her the signage was confusing but there was no longer an issue we would take a different pair instead. The neighboring cashier stated that there should not be a problem as she was the one who put the sign there and that it is only for the bottom row. (BTW the sign is attached to the top row). We have not left the store and the store allows returns so this demand for me to pay for these pants is ridiculous. She threatened that she would have to get the manager. I asked her to please do so. So the manager comes, and I am assuming that the manager would agree that this demand is unnecessary. Nope, she agrees that I should pay for these poorly signed pants at the $26.99. And then proceeds to tell me, " you could not understand the sign". Although when I again stated I would not be paying for the $26.99 pants, the manager said ok, Not once did this manager say I am sorry. If my kid did not have her heart set on the other products we chose I would have walked out without purchasing anything and never returned. I have had problems in the past with the signs in this store, but it is easy enough to purchase the items online with the other line price and pick up at the store an hour or 2 later. What an awful store manager. I picked out two shirts that were hung between two sales signs that displayed $14. At checkout the cashier rung up $24 each; I showed him the $14 sign; he gets the manager, and the manager said, no it's $24, the shirts should not have been there. No apology. I protested saying I wasted 15 minutes and that she should fix the display. She said, No. The sign is correct and I should of checked the tag. Okay, that's the last time i shop at Old Navy or Gap. Just let this store and I'm very upset, there were two ladies at the store and I was trying to get 45 pair of flip flops for my wedding favors and apparently that wasn't a good idea for those ladies- One of them told me that was not fair that I'll be getting that many since they are in a good deal and I should have let more for others costumers, there wasn't enough pairs so I Had to order a Few more online at the front... and the lady at the counter started taking bad things about me behind my back with her coworker.. I decided to still get the sandals because I need them and of course that are in a very good price but I felt so discriminated about their attitude... The fitting rooms are closed still. Half the store is a complete mess. And they don't advertise that they're fitting rooms are still closed.

Old Navy is known for it's affordable apparel, so that isn't questionable. What is questionable is why stores like this often have long lines of customers and only a couple of employees behind the counter. I've worked in a retail store (Structure) and I know what a hassle it is to get employees to be at work, and be there on time. I don't want to tell anyone how to do their job, but when you have 20 people in a checkout line and five people on the floor, maybe that table with the unfolded tees can wait a few minutes. read more

I'm not an Old Navy fan simply because the clothes aren't cut for my body. I have to buy two sizes bigger than I normally would buy just to fit into their clothes...not really my cup of tea. The only thing that I have found once in awhile that works for me size wise and price wise are the workout clothes. Seeing a few clearance signs in the window with some time to spare, since walked around this ON to see what I could find for a bargain. I lucked up on sole fitness gear in the back of the store. Priced it at the register and it was less than the ticket price which is nice surprise! For $12 I got an entire workout outfit which is very rare, nearly impossible. Limited selection of items, so wasn't able to capitlaize on the bargain clearance bonanza but I'll take whatever I can get when I can get it to save a few dollars. read more

Let me start by saying I have been to Old Navy's in multiple states, as well as throughout the Houston metro area. This location leaves something to be desired. The selection is small, and most of the time the sizes have been picked over. The clearance section lacks variety. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Old Navy. I just don't like this store. The one at the Katy Mills Mall is so much better if you are up for the drive. read more

I have been to this Old Navy a couple of times but today is the first time that I realized they dont sell maternity clothes. I thought all Old Navy stores sold maternity clothes. I was told they will only have them in the clearance section if they have them at all. This store is 15 minutes away from me so its pretty disappointing to know that they dont have what I need. This Store is ALWAYS filthy!!! I went in this past Saturday there was so many people in the store and there was clothes everywhere. The clearance section was like a tornado had gone through it! I have been a loyal shopper at Old Navy. I purchased a purse on July 10. July 11 I used the purse to go on vacation. When I went to unzip my Old Navy purse at the airline ticket counter I could not open it because 7 zipper teeth were missing on the zipper. Finally got it opened and continue on with my vacation. When I returned from vacation I went to the Old Navy store in Sugar Land, Texas to return the purse and the RUDE store manager said they could not refund damage goods. I told her it was damaged when I purchased it!! I spend a lot of money at that Old Navy store location and plus I order on line as well and to have this happened was just disappointing! I'm really unimpressed with Old Navy on the whole. I've never found anything that I could call satisfactory except for one zip up hoodie to wear around the house when I feel chilly in the mornings. The quality of the women's clothing is questionable to me. The materials are thin, flimsy and don't look like they would wear well year after year and through multiple washings. I don't think Old Navy clothing is meant to last anyway. The other problem I've found is length in clothing. I'm tall and it's impossible for me to find pants that are truly long enough AND fit well elsewhere without swallowing me. Also if pants fit well, they are too short as if I'm ready for some flood. The same goes for sleeve length in shirts. Not so good quality plus poor fit means I won't be shopping here for myself. Small sizes seem to be lacking or else are made for petite height rather than tall height. I have seen that clothing for boys is a little better. They have cute plaid shorts and tees that coordinate with them. Girls' clothing selection offers cute outfits and accessories. For kids' everyday and play clothes this may not be a bad place. The men's section offers a lot of basics in tees and shorts, also. Men probably will fare much better here than I will. The dressing room is run pretty efficiently. Employees do seem helpful. It's a popular enough store with others but it just doesn't offer what I want or anything that I may need or want for myself. read more

I visit this location at least twice a month. Considering the crazy sales happening here lately they tend to keep the store quite clean. I appreciate how the workers don't lurk and stalk you around the store. As a matter of fact they are pretty hard to find and usually there's no attendant in the fitting room, so you're kinda on your own. I was referred to this location from the Galleria store and right now they have several short sleeve and long sleeve t-shirts half price. All the Old Navy stores have college shirts right now.
