Stopped in on a Tuesday night with a friend to grab a beer and some food. Not very busy at all. Bartender was friendly. Took a seat and enjoyed some beers while watching the All Star game which was as on most of the many TVs hanging around the location. They have a nice covered area outside but we choose to sit inside. We decided to order some food and decided on the dry rubbed chicken wings to start. So good. Definitely worth getting. We then decided to other something else and we both decided on the "Holy Ship" shrimp tacos.... Let me tell you "HOLY SHIP" were they spicy. Good but DAMN. We were warned by the bartender but I guess I had watched one too many episodes of Hot Ones and I was up for a challenge. Out of the three the 1st was the hardest to get through. The other two, albeit spicy, went down a little easier. In the end great location to grab a beer and some grub.

Absolutely love their triple IPA and the Interstellar stout. Good service and a cozy off the path location with nice outdoor seating that's pet friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

This was my first time going there and it was so welcoming! So happy to be there, the food was also amazing! The people there are so kind. The service was fast and efficient.

This place is amazing been here before but came today for the FREE music, The Pirtchforks" an incredibly talented band from4-7. Their beer is so good we enjoyed the Dusk Runner and Other Brother beers. The staff is so friendly and always offer a sample if you are not sure what you want to order. The patrons are welcoming and ladies you will feel very comfortable going on your own or with your girlfriends. Dogs welcome in the patio. Happy Hour Tuesday- Friday 3:30-5:30 plus darts, tv to watch the games, bingo, comedy shows etc. I LOVE this place and did I mention the food is good.plenty of parking.

The day I went half the inside was reserved which was okay!! I was in the mood for a good beer and some food so we just stopped by. This place is hidden a bit. We walked in and you have to order your food and beer at the register then sit down, the beer was okay and the food was ehhh. I wouldn't come here to eat but maybe if I wanted a quick beer. Everyone was very nice and answered all our questions. Like I said I'd come back if I was nearby and just wanted a quick beer and then leave. The vibe was definitely very calm and quiet

Faron's has been around town for some time, used to be in Penngrove and is now in Santa Rosa inside the Old Possum Brewery Co. I heard about this spot through my hubby's colleague who tried Faron's years ago and raved about how good it was. We looked them up and found out they're still in business at a different location. We came a few weeks ago on a rainy Monday night. We called in advance but no one picked up but thought we would try our luck by going there. Once we entered, we were greeted by the bartender and she helped us order our take out. The menu is small but consists of your choice of meats and sides. There are a few speciality items such as hush puppies, jambalaya, etc. We ordered a bbq chicken plate with potato salad/rice/beans and the bbq smoked briskets with angel hair Mac & cheese and string beans. Comes with sides of corn bread which is MUST TRY. The wait was only about 15 mins which wasn't long but worth the wait!! The meats were delicious, bbq taste throughly. Sides were delicious. It's hard to find a spot around town that does good bbq (the bbq spot used to but closed) but I'm happy to report Faron's got it. I'm looking forward to coming back soon! I love hole in the wall spots and hope the word gets out because Faron's is bomb and everyone should give them a try!

I'm Hooked! Dirty rice with BBQ pulled pork. Yum! Fish & chips were declared "the best" hubby has ever tried. The chipotle aioli was a great accompaniment. So far we have been twice and have enjoyed just about everything. (Guacamole wasn't a repeater for us but the chips were great.) Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and plenty of beer choices. There's so many fun events - I look forward to returning with a bunch of friends.

Unquestionably my new favorite hangout. The team at Old Possum is so much fun, and they are slinging some top notch brews. The Summer Sippin blonde ale is my favorite, with Crocs n Socks coming in as a close second. They've got a mexican inspired bar food menu that rotates with fresh offerings. I also love their community building activities like video game tournaments on Thursdays that is hopefully expanding into some other game options (I'll be there for Headbandz for sure!) Live music a few days a week as well. The taproom is tucked away in the industrial area in southwest SR. There's plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Gender neutral restrooms. Limited parking.

Beers were...ehh. I asked the beer tender what was on the loaded nachos. She told me nacho cheese and everything that loaded stuff should come with...ok... The food goes with the character of the place- only a possum would love it...The nachos were cold and had no meat on it...for $16?

Great beer but also really yummy brunch too. We had French Toast, pancakes, and the omelette today. My French toast was great. My egg was cooked perfectly (I like them fried) and sausage really good too. I also recommend their Stout - so good. Also - the stout with a peanut butter cup is good!

Our bartender was awesome. She understood our requests and found us the perfect beers. Our beers were great. We ordered food and she said the chef would be back in a couple minutes and we said we were fine. 30 minutes later she told us he would be back in three minutes. Really? We almost left. Then the food finally came. It was "fine." The ribs were delicious but they weren't Cajun. She said the chef was making the Mac and cheese but clearly if it is made with angel hair pasta, and he left for a half hour, that was over cooked, lol. So no max and cheese. We had the potato salad and it was Costco. We had the beans and rice and it was fine also not spicy. The ribs were delicious but also sweet, not Cajun. Sadly, the bartender stepped out for "a few minutes" and once my husband could get the attention of the guy behind the bar to ask for hot sauce, I was done eating. They had Tabasco and Crystal, so we chose the latter. I'd have loved to have a Louisiana styled hot sauce, like Franks Red Hot but of the bites I ate of my husband's with the Crystal made all the difference (at least the beans and ribs). All in all, I'm a happy girl. I'll go back for the beer for sure. If we eat, I'll bring my own hot sauce, haha. Three ribs and two sides $25. Happy hour beers were about $5 each.

Bad location in industrial area. Tried a few beers and didn't like any. By the time I was ready for dinner they'd closed their kitchen.

It was not bad, just not wowed. If you are following, I have been buying many of these beers from Whole Paycheck, I mean Whole Foods from $6 a bottle. On the second flight, I decided to do the entire Belgian Inspired Flight - The better of the two flights. So many different flavors. My daughter got the Southwest Wrap - I took a small bite, it was good. Just the perfect amount of kick, spice. And I think it's healthy. Kettle chips were good but had some burnt ends?!?! We were going to get the wings also, but after drinking 13 samplers, I was so full. Plus my daughter wanted to check out Teriyaki Madness in Novato, so off we went. See other review. Ambiance - Decent size location. Indoor and outdoor seating. An indoor bar, counter, and table seating. Semi open kitchen. Street metered parking. There is a paid lot/garage in the rear of the building but we got a perfect space right in front so did not need to go to the garage. MAKE sure you feed the meter, I watched people getting tickets!! The meter maids are on foot, so it was not easy to see them coming. It is best to keep your meter fed. Happy hour available for $1 off beers. Many other specials; see my pictures or check out their website. Clean restrooms. Cool art outside the building; see pictures. A small gift shop. Service - Jon did a good job. Patient. And checked up on us often. Price - $40 + generous tip. I think it was a little expensive for what we got. The meal came out to "two" beers and a wrap; really just enough food for one person. But because we are light eaters, it was enough for us. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1997. My goal is to join the line next year for Pliny The Young!!! Wish me luck.

A little too hoppy for my taste, but still a good drink to have with food. For food, we ordered the BBQ Nachos with Tri-tip , and some wings. The wings were pretty good with a sweet chili ginger sauce. We also tried their dry-rubbed wings, which were just okay. The nachos had good flavor, but some of the chips got kind of burnt in the broiler. The tri-tip was also a little underwhelming as it was just a bunch of small pieces that didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall, I still liked the flavor of the nachos, but I would get a side of sour cream or something else to go with it. I still really like this place and hope to come back again.
