Courtesy note: I have a lot to say. This is lengthy. My family and I were here on 2-12-25 to honor the life of my cousin Stacy Silva #GhillottiBros who passed away exactly 1 year ago. Her daughter picked the place as a place she thought her mom would like. I ordered the Quesabirria Tacos with Consome that was ABSOLUTELY amazing. The meat was tender and juicy. Excellent flavor and the tortillas were perfectly crisp. Not so hard the roof of your mouth needs Band-aids but so your ears hear a crunch that is sensory pleasing. The staff and especially the Bartender were super rad! Side note is that my gram is 90 yrs old with failing health. She hasn't been able to go out of the house in weeks, but she made it to this and enjoyed all of it. So I thank you for that! And my 49yr old cousin just got out of the hospital after surviving a stroke 2 weeks ago. The Kaiser Santa Rosa ER tried to send him home! So be your own advocate! We had a lot on our hearts. Nice little brewery located in central Santa Rosa. They have indoor and outdoor seating, as well as bar seating, and they are dog friendly. The Atlas beer is lovely - it's light and refreshing while still having a bold hoppy flavor. The server's seem to know many of the customers by name which made the space have a welcoming, "neighboorhoody" feel. read more

We stopped in here for lunch while a game was on. Nice open space and service was friendly and prompt. Beers and ciders to choose from and cute little spot. Food was really good and fresh. We found a nice little brewery in Santa Rosa where the locals and the brewers leisurely hang out for a drink and meals which was truly a gem of a find! The servers were very friendly and helpful and fun to chat with! After we finished our lunch, we hung out for a little while. One of the brewers came in for a drink and was joined shortly after that by two other brewers. We had a nice time chatting with them for a bit. We made sure to get something to eat and the servers told us we had made good choices for lunch when we ordered the pork belly bao slider and crispy chicken sandwich w upgraded smokehouse fries. Both meals were very delicious and perfectly prepared. Portion sizes were not overly large but we were very satisfied when we were done. Their beers were very tasty and a great start to our day. Lots of locals came through to hang out for a drink or two with a nice flow of guests coming and going while we were there. Everyone was happy and the weather was a little chilly but it was a perfect day to spend time with good friends. The girls at the bar told us we needed to go to Grossman's for dinner so we went with their recommendation and even had enough time to make reservations too! It was a great suggestion and one we'll be sure to return to again in the future! We're still thinking about their beers and are looking forward to another visit for more. I want to try something different and think that their roast beef sandwich will be my next choice! In a rare move for me, this was the only new brewery I got to try on a recent trip, but I was glad I chose this one. At a famous brewery nearby I asked for recommendations which was the best, and this came out on top. This taproom had dedicated parking shared with other businesses, but even on a weekday afternoon, it was busy. There's plenty of free street parking nearby too. Fogbelt's theme is the redwood forests of the region, with many beers named after famous trees or areas. It's a nice large space with big central bar, outdoor seating, high top indoor seating, and larger tables to the side. They have food, but I didn't try any on this trip. I had one flight and chose their highest rated and newest beers. They were all excellent. The bartenders were genuinely friendly and quick to serve. To the side is a large to-go selection of mostly 4-pack cans, but also some limited bottles. I chose one stout collaboration with another regional favorite Cellarmaker and am looking forward to sharing with friends. If you're a beer fan in the area, this one is worth a stop! read more

Great little brew pub! This little gem is tucked away a bit, but well worth the visit. They have a semi-regularly rotating menu, so each visit feels fresh - but they keep the best of the best! Among "the best" is their reaper hot sauce. Sooo delicious, and seriously spicy. Buyer beware :). But, as much as I crave true heat, the real stand out at Fogbelt are their fries. They have THE BEST fries that I have ever had anywhere. They are battered, super crispy, creamy inside... seasoned to perfection... seriously amazing! The crew is always happy to see you, but not overbearing. Water is self serve, which is fine. They have some outdoor seating, which is usually a welcome option in Sonoma County. Fogbelt was a great stop along my Santa Rosa Brewery tour. They offer a large indoor and outdoor space and a full food menu. Kids are welcome here but it is more of a restaurant atmosphere so they should be well behaved! When we arrived the bartender/server told us to grab a table on the patio. Unfortunately, this is where the flaws in service started appearing. This one bartender was running the entire front of house. Poor thing. Not her fault, but impacted the speed of service for sure. We ordered a beer flight and a lemonade for the kids. The beer here is great. They are making great stuff. The barrel aged sour beers are incredible! They also have some cool ideas like a wheat beer with lime and cilantro. Cool! We tasted some beers and grabbed some to gos on the way out. For a flight of beer, a four pack, and 3 barrel aged bottles, plus the kids lemonade, the tab was $75. Not too bad. Go here! It's a locals spot pumping out great beer and if they had more than one server, it would have been a perfect experience! read more

I took my parents out for lunch today, we had the best smash burgers & fries along with stardusk beer to go with it. Carley waited on us and was amazing & very friendly and welcoming and did a outstanding job. It's people like her that's going to keep us coming back . Fogbelt gets a comfortable 3.5/4 rating from me, but sometimes they can really wow with a 5 star experience on a budget. While it's a bit pricier than some other local breweries, I love that they have their own kitchen, and the food is always fresh and fantastic. Along with the beer! I really feel like they've got some for any palette, but my favorite is the painkiller. They have a good sized indoor taproom with a large bar. High top, booth seating, and table seating available, and they have a very large semi enclosed patio with space heaters. The one thing that seems to be a bit hit or miss is the service. We've had some issues with being helped to start and then our server disappearing entirely. But most of the time, our servers are warm and attentive to all their patrons- helpful with beer selections, quick, making their rounds often, and having a good energy to keep the taproom vibe flowing. read more

They recently expanded the interior of the brewery giving more seating for larger groups indoors. They always have a variety of beer selections as well as seltzers for the non-beer folks. I kept catching my husband taking chips off of my plate, they're also large enough to be an appetizer for a table of 2 or more. My husband, sister and I stopped by here after a camping trip cause they were really craving burgers. The food was really good! Their portions are really big and taste great. The burger was really nice and came with so many fries. We've never had elote nachos so we tried it and loved it. The steak skewers were smaller in portion but still tasted good. I had always wanted to try the food and beer pairings that they occasionally offer after seeing it in social media I finally went. I also ordered the pretzel bites but were more like biscuit bites, not bad but not pretzels. The beer cheese was really good. I would say Fogbelt is good to try at least once. Second visit to Fogbelt and had to come share my experience re: the service. Came in on Father's Day, place was packed, only two servers. Despite that, we were helped fairly quickly - server took our order without writing anything down. There were 4 of us - 2 adults, 2 small kids. My kids ordered chicken nuggets and a hot dog. When the food arrived, the server almost immediately remembered she made a mistake on the kids orders. She brought out 2 orders of chicken nuggets. This is where I find the service appalling. Instead of apologizing, she said (to my 4yo), "oh no, can you eat this instead? Can you be a big girl about this? Otherwise it will take forever to make the other thing." I've honestly never seen an adult be so condescending to my kids - and after she made a mistake! We were stunned but my daughter agreed and didn't seem too upset. She then charged us (!!) for the incorrect meal that she basically forced my kid to accept - and never acknowledged or apologized for the mistake. Call has been made to management but it felt bad enough to share with others looking to dine here. Also, write your orders down! read more

We got here and they were very busy but right away someone helped us checked in and put us on a waiting list to sit outside because we took our corgi (lexy). Eric our server was very friendly & made sure we knew he was available for us but they were short staffed. We ordered first our drinks then we decided what we wanted to eat. I got a cherry sour it was tasty. Started off with the Elote nachos they were to die for! If you have not tried them yet you have too. It is a big size we got full just with the nachos. We also got the BLT with fries. We were to full to eat it at the restaurant but we ate it at home it was delicious. The fried green tomato and thick bacon gave it a really delicious flavor. The hubby tried the beer flight with wings and he really enjoyed how they were paired and the flavors of the wings were very tasty as well. Highly recommended! Significantly improved beer and service. Fogbelt has always had good beer and food. Service is much better than prior visits and their beer variety is much improved. They don't just stick to river beer or excessively hoppy beer like a few of the other well know breweries in sonoma county. Check out the smokehouse fries, you will thank me later. read more
