They serve Bluebell ice cream here and both flavors that we got were delicious! We got the strawberry cheesecake and the Moo-llenium Crunch (kind of like a pecan ice cream with vanilla and different nuts for texture). The prices were fair and the portion sizes were good! We took our ice creams to eat outside in the nice plaza courtyard next door which was perfect. Super friendly service as well! Steve's Ice Cream is a small place off the plaza with pretty decent prices for Old Town. My toddler enjoyed getting some ice cream here. Service was quick overall. There isn't a lot of seating inside or close by, but if you head out the back door there are some tables and there was nobody else in the area. read more

One of my new favorite ice cream places! First off, it's super clean, which is GREAT. There was a fantastic selection of ice creams and sorbets. It took me forever to order because there were like 5 flavors that I could not choose between! And besides ice cream, there were other fun treats like smoothies, milkshakes, coffees and other stuff. The staff was really friendly and let me sample some ice cream flavors so I could narrow down my favorite. The ice cream I finally got was super yummy and tasted nice and fresh, unlike some I've tried where I can tell it was in the bucket there for awhile. There's also a nice little sitting area out front where you can enjoy your ice cream outside, but save yourself from the sun. Late in the afternoon, I normally require a double iced mocha. The employees are slaves to the man in old town just like me. That means I get a small discount. I've never liked starbucks and the one closest to old town is a haven for snooty yuppies. Most the staff here have my order memorized, and they probably love me because I still tip the hell out of them despite their pricey coffee. I decided to head down to Old Town to grab some coffee and enjoy some reading and a side of people-watching. The place I originally Yelped was closed for renovations, so I landed up at Steve's. I had been here before when it had a different name (and likely ownership.) The interior and menu remain unchanged, which isn't a bad thing. The place is very modern and clean. Ice cream products are Blue Bell--the best--and there are lots of flavors. Only mistake I made was ordering an iced chai latte, which was made from a powder. It didn't taste bad, but there was noticeable grittiness towards the bottom. For almost $5, a drink should be freshly made. read more
