We always enjoy Old Town Pizza for dining in or ordering takeout. The food is always great. The breadsticks are definitely a favorite and something we look forward to every time. This is a fourth or fifth time eating here and overall it's OK, but nothing special. It is a great place for families as it's quite casual and many of the tables are large handling a number of diners. The atmosphere is "folksy" with a country appeal, lots of wood, brick walls, booths and rustic touches. There's also many large TVs with sports stations om (I've never understood this when you're out to eat a meal). Service is really good, friendly, attentive, helpful and prompt. We came with friends, for an early dinner, who made the suggestion to come here. It's OK, not my first choice but the prices are fairly good too. Our drink orders were taken in a timely manner and quickly delivered. I had an iced tea. We ordered a large Ceasar Salad which is quite adequate for 4-6 people. Dressing comes on the side. For a salad it's fresh enough but just ordinary. There's not much one can do with a Ceasar, yet this one is tasteless and watery too. For a pizza we chose a large "Legends" Veggie Lovers. It also came in good time, thin crust and an adequate amount of cheese and veggies, with an over indulgence of bell peppers. The tomato sauce was primarily at the crust ends with not much evenly distributed to the center. The pizza was so-so. Tasty enough but I can do as good a job, or better, with a Boboli at home. Bottom line. It's OK but nothing special. What I particularly found annoying was a pugent odor of what seemed like disinfectant when we first sat down. Not a good start to a meal. I appreciate they keep the place sanitized and clean, but UGH! Too much! I do admit it seemed to disipate over time. Yes, I would come here again. Perhaps try something else. Came up to Old Town for my aunts 80th birthday and we were in the big room in the back. The space is very spacious with real nice wooden features and dim lighting. Barn like style if you will. The service was amazing, the staff were so helpful and timely. Asking multiple times if we needed anything. The food was amazing! We got pizza, salad, wings, and cheesy bread. Pizza dough! I love OTP. I haven't found another pizza joint I am more fond of. When I found out OTP sells dough and I have been making subpar pizza with my Ooni, I had to try it using OTP dough. The price is super cheap and you can get it in small, med, large and XL. A small dough is only 2 bucks. I got home and topped the dough with my favorite ingredients and was not disappointed. It tasted like an OTP pizza but come on, not a quite as good. I will get my dough from OTP rather than making it at home as it makes a way better home pizza. read more

Bumping up to 4 stars based on several dine-in experiences. The pizza is really good when eaten fresh in the restaurant. No soggy crust issues like they had with delivery. The "small" green salad is plenty for 2 to share, or maybe even 3. Service is friendly but can be slow. On a personal note, we prefer Coca-Cola to Pepsi. But no biggie. The pizza is the star here. We have been here a few times from out town. The ambience is great and the service is fantastic. We were there for a wedding party. They served pizzas, wings, cheese bread and salad. Everything was hot and fresh and the pizza is always fire. They handled our large party with ease and keep the food coming hot. They kept the drinks refilled and was a great experience. Thrilled to see Old Town available on Door Dash. We are major fans of Old Town and are disappointed everywhere else because they are our benchmark for the best pizza. By far the best pizza in Placer County however when we got our first delivery, it wasn't even comparable to eating in the restaurant. Very little Italian sausage which Old Towns has amazing flavor, they scrimped with the sauce and linguica which we love on the Old Town Caboose pizza. It may have been a flaw tonight but one slice was basically only cheese. On the delivery, everything was safety sealed which is awesome when you use a delivery service. Thank you Old Town for doing that which most companies don't do based on the extra cost. Finally, we will try delivery again and we hope this was a flawed night but this post to let Old Town know, we want the same experience at home as we do when we visit. read more

Over the top kindness and consideration, we get treated like Family! Steven, Spencer, Tony, Brenda, and all the staff, too many names to list, Rock.. They just know what it's about, the owners run a fine oiled establishment, that is service and customer oriented! You must try all the pizzas, they even have a Happy hour daily 2-5pm and after 8pm. I moved to Lincoln February 2008 and lived there for ten years. One of the first places I discovered that was fantastic was Old Town Pizza and that was at their old location. All of their food is excelent and in the sacramento Region they are one of the best pizza food places that exists. Okay here it goes ... My favorite is their calzone and in their new location I don't know what it is but it is amazing. Their pizza buritto is a unique option as well. Anyone who knows me understands that I appreciate bussinesses that give back to the community. For 10 years I coached as the Defensive Coordinator for the Lincoln Fighting Zebras and we could always count on Old Town Pizza suporrting our students and program. So after years of hearing how great OTP was after moving to Lincoln. I finally pulled the trigger today and ordered some pizza and wings. I always thought they were on the pricey end but since the reviews were so good, must be worth it. Ordered the medium Conductor and medium Royal Hawaiian with 12 piece buffalo wings. Pizzas were so bad, very bland no real flavor in the sauce, the dough was raw and doughy, no color or crunchalmost raw. Wings had no sauce, it was more like a dry rub but again without any flavor or kick. Think Dominoes would've been better price better flavor and that's saying a lot. Very disappointed read more

My love for OTP dates back since they first opened and I can't believe I haven't written a review?! We loved it when they were across the street at the brick building. We love it even more since they've expanded the restaurant and added a rooftop dining area (which I heard will be closing) at the new location. Our favorite pizzas are the Steam Engine, Caboose and Lincoln Luau. Their wings are great and their salads are always so fresh! Here to clarify this incident because the owner believes that if you don't respond because you're upset about the way you were treated at THEIR establishment, then the review must be wrong right? I understand you made an effort to reach out but sometimes, that's not what people want, they just want to share an experience because 99% of the time nothing will be done about it and they just want others to be aware. I had come into the establishment with my party, we were told the wait would be 15 minutes. This was not a problem, we expected this as it was peak rush hour, and we had a large party. there was no available seating for customers who were waiting to be seated. After a bit, My mother who was standing and struggles to stand for long periods of time, walked up to the hostess at the time and kindly asked if she had an estimated idea of a time the table would be ready as she had been thinking about waiting in the car. The hostess then said "it hasn't been 15 minutes has it" and turned away rudely. This was all witnessed by the party and the response was unwarranted, rude, and extremely unprofessional. A simple I'm not sure or it's hard to tell would suffice, but to give such a snarky remark to someone with a kind attitude was very sickening. To top it off when showing us our table she had thrown the menus and walked off. read more

OTP is so hit and miss. Some days the pizza is great and other it is just okay. This time I ordered a small garden salad, it was $6.50 and two other pizzas. The garden salad was seriously pathetic! It came in a 5inch container that looked like they used 1 leaf of iceberg lettuce 1 cherry tomato and pinch of mozzarella cheese. $6.50 for this thing?!?! I don't mind the container size, but come on at least give the consumer more lettuce! The pizza was just as pathetic! The cheese on the pizza was only in the middle of the pizza not all over it. I get times are tough, but penny pinching quality is not a good look. Will not be ordering the salad again and might be going elsewhere for pizza. read more

So as you can see I'm at Old Town Pizza once a week or even more at times I truly really enjoy and crave the pizza when I don't have it ! I been to the old location and when they first opened this one and let me tell you I love this location I loved when they moved to a bigger place . To me this is the best pizza in town how can anyone campare it to any thing else in Lincoln lol ! I have walked out of pizza places in Lincoln and no I'm not saying names but at the end of the day this is the best in town ! Everything looks clean and organized I trust them making my pizza . If a place looks dirty I can't eat there . The pizza slices are great portions for the price now a days food and fast foods are so expensive this place is very reasonable priced . Also if you sign up for the raving fans on their website you can get a discount . They have an amazing happy hours during the week . They have amazing lunch specials as well . They have rotating craft beers to choose from. Which are all from great breweries. They have a rooftop that has heaters for the winter and fans for the summer . They been having live music up there pretty fun ! They have a staff that is out of this world!! They treat me and my family like we are family we love coming in and seeing faces that know us from Tony , Spencer , Jade , Austin ,Chris , Joshua, Steven that hosted my party last year with the fab party coordinator, Jess - yes they cater also .. They must spend a lot of time training all employees and have a great environment because everyone looks happy and very professional which I knows comes from the top store mangers ect thanks !! Old Town Pizza (OTP) makes the best pan pizza in the Lincoln and Roseville area! I love getting the Lunch Specials that are offered every day from 11 AM to 4 PM. Changing daily, the Specialty Pizza Slice, which could be the popular Caboose or Choo Choo Chicken, is my favorite. The one time I ordered a slice of cheese pizza, it had been sitting out too long, so take a peek at the pizza offerings before ordering. I suspect the Specialty Pizza Slice is more popular and turns over faster. The Side Salad is a generous portion, and you are allowed to choose what kind of salad you'd like. I can recommend the Spinach Salad with feta, dried cranberries, and red onion. This is an easy, relaxed place to watch a NBA or football game. Several TVs set to sports. This is a great place to drink craft beer. There are about 15 beers on tap, and the selection changes over time as beers run out and new beers are supplied. You are allowed to sample before buying, and I believe the prices are lower than other local bars. What wonderful service! I'm a fan of the light, fruit-flavored ciders and chocolate or coffee-flavored stout beers. There are also bottles and cans of craft beer available: Check out the beverage fridges on your way in. I also noticed the menu prices have remained steady for many months, so that's considerate of management in this economy. Pizza for the people! Being in downtown Lincoln, you'll need to look for street parking. I haven't had any difficulty given I usually go in the afternoon. Delicious food. A little expensive but I don't go here for cheap pizza. A dine in experience can be slightly irritating. With staff not properly trained on good customer service, you better hope you got one of the good servers/hosts or prepare for nothing past the bare minimum. I understand high schoolers need jobs, but they should also be shown what proper customer service looks like. I don't blame the kids for that, I blame leadership. Yesterday hubby and I decided to stop in for lunch while we were in Downtown Lincoln. For our starter we ordered the small Spinach Salad. What a flavorful salad, from the balsamic vinaigrette to the toppings! So good, a great healthy starter! For lunch we ordered the small BBQ Boxcar Specialty Pizza. There's a reason they say their pizza is "As Good as Gold!" And this mouthwatering flavor is no exception, seriously convinced if perfection were a pizza than this would be it! Have you ever seen thick pineapple rings on pizza? Well I haven't and just look at all of that bacon!! And don't even get me started on that light and airy crust and ooey gooey melty cheese! The small comes with 6 slices and it was just the right portion for us! This is the third location I've been to, before yelping days and I'd recommend this location just as highly as the others! As we were leaving we saw a to-go area where you can buy pizza by the slice, sorbet and ice cream! They even have a patio on the roof! Our server Steven was very attentive and courteous and I loved the barn theme! Old Town Pizza's first location opened in Auburn in 1999 and this location @otplincoln on Instagram has been in operation for 18 years!
