I wound up buying 3 blocks of cheese, some cheese dip, a meat stick, and the cheese curds. There are several different specialty cheeses. One that was particularly interesting was the mystery cheese. This is a combination of whatever cheese was left in the vat before changeover and the new cheese that went into the vat after changeover. I got a block of a white and orange mix. This shop will become a regular stop when in the Sheboygan area.

This family owned marker offers Italian sausage, chorizo, bratwurst, and some specialty brats. The mouthwatering smell of smoked sausage permeates the air as you walk through the door. This comes in part from the homemade summer sausage hanging on a rack by the door. It is wrapped in parchment during the smoking process. There is no rind to peel. This is hands down the best summer sausage I ever had. I also picked up a pound of bratwurst. I'm anxious to get them on a grill. I expect them to be as good as the summer sausage was. This place is well worth the drive for me just for the summer sausage.

There is some playground equipment outside, and a large path leading to the store, which I suspect someone may have mistaken for a driveway before, since there was a sign clarifying that it was not, indeed, a driveway. There's a sausage outside you can pose with if you'd like, and a large Adirondack chair. If you're nearby and like sausage, Wisconsin products, or Johnsonville, it's worth a stop.

We started with a flight of old fashioned cocktails. We tried vanilla bean, honeycomb, and our favorite the cinnamon appke. For dinner we both had the Friday perch fry. The perch itself was very good with a nice panko coating. The fries were good too but they could have been warmer. Our server was very attentive and friendly. They were definitely on the game. I have gotten sandwiches a few times from this spot, but each time I find the same thing: I don't like their bread. The ciabatta is crackly and hurts my mouth. The focaccia is just so much bread for a sandwich. Often I find my sandwich is just dry and not as flavorful as I'd expect for a spot that seems to be innovative and thoughtful about their rotating sandwiches. Every time, I read the description of the sandwich and think it'll be great, but every time I'm disappointed. It's dry and bland. I'd rather spend my money on food I enjoy, which is a bummer because I'd rather support local businesses, but I'd say save your money for Jimmy John's or Jersey Mikes.... But who knows, maybe I'm just not ordering the right thing.
