Amazing food!! Oysters are amazing and service is on the spot. We go once a week! If you haven't been then you are missing out.

This is one of my favorite local restaurants both for incredible burgers and fancier fare. I actually go there for the burgers, but my favorite dinner otherwise is their Chicken Marsala. Serving sizes are just right. And earning an A+ is the patio which is a lot of fun in summer months. read more

Great place to hang out inside or outside. The patio area is enclosed in the Winter, open in the Summer. Amazing atmosphere throughout the establishment. They even have a rathskeller in the basement with an 80" TV. Smoke, have a brew and enjoy a game. Food is very solid. The tuna appetizer, the fried calamari and there special pizzas are all good and worth trying. Food isn't the best, but it is solid for bar/restaurant food and the atmosphere makes up for the rest. read more

Well after last night's visit I have to knock my review down one star. We had 730 reservations. The parking lot was an absolute disaster. We were early so we went to the bar for a drink while waiting for our friends. I found the bar to be too small and uncomfortable. We were clearly in the staff's way. Our table was ready approx 15 minutes late. We had reservation for outside so I was so exited to sit outside I didn't mind waiting. Finally we got seated. From there the night really went downhill. The waitress took our drink order, delivered our drinks and then disappeared. Then she finally came back and asked if we wanted to start with anything. We started with a pizza which was decent. Then our waitress totally disappeared and didn't come back for a looooooonnnnnggggg time. Finally wee ordered our entrees....they took over almost an hour to be delivered which is completely unacceptable. I had chicken parm which was average. While we were waiting for our foods the Mosquitos were unbearable. We all got covered in bites. Horrible. This kind of ruined the night. Overall I would say it was super disappointing. read more

Always good food. Always a great time. The pizza is delicious. The salads are huge. Nothing is ever a problem.

We had the fried mozzarella as an appetizer, very good! My entree was the Almond crusted tilapia...giant portion, good, not great! The fresh baked bread was delicious. Our waitress was very good! The mixed drinks were good and they were packed with liquor. The overall ambience was nice. The place was packed and our service time was good. Prices were very reasonable. This place is beautiful from the outside. It has an amazing exterior and a pretty well done interior. That's about where it ends. The service is lousy and there is no management. Other than that its awesome! If you are looking to take a ride out to the country for a sub-par meal and an arrogant waitstaff then this is your spot. Food is ok and it just seems like no one cares. Slow, sloppy and arrogant would be the perfect description for this place. I give it 2 stars because whoever built it took the care to make it really special. Whoever runs its is not so special. Pretty decent place, I just wish all the people from Clarks Summit would stay away. They come rolling in thinking they are at Le Bec-Fin, and expecting to be treated like royalty. I took a party of 6 to this restaurant tonight not having been there in several years. It was a restaurant designated to donate 20% of the bill to a local charity. However, even though we had a reservation it took an inordinate amount of time to get our drinks before dinner. the service for the remainder of the meal was very slow; while most of us enjoyed our meal the overall feeling was that we would not go back due to the poor service. I would not recommend this restaurant; they obviously knew they would have a good response for dinner due to the benefit and the reservations taken in however they were not able to provide timely service. read more

The service stinks. Food was ok, French onion soup horrible. Considering the outside view was of the parking lot, I think there are better places to eat dinner. Our waiter neglected us the whole time and didn't once ask us if we were ok or if we needed anything. Garbage was on the table and not taken away. Will not be back. read more

Been here several times and love the food. Had crab stuffed shrimp appetizer last night and it was amazing! Have had numerous sandwiches and wood fired pizza- all very good. Beer selection could be better- mostly the usual suspects. My biggest gripe with OBI is the wobbly tables on the patio. FIX THESE DAMN THINGS!! Service here is always very good and the place itself is very nice. However, the shaky tables cheapen the experience. Take care of that and I would give it 5 stars. Peace out...... read more

First time here. Decor was dated in the dining room. Food was average. Waitresses' perfume was overpowering. Service was slow. Waited at least 40 minutes for our entrees. Will not be back. read more

We had a wonderful family celebration on the patio in late January. Service was great and everyone was extremely accommodating. The food was fresh and delicious. The patio area is beautiful. Stopped in for a quick bite after spending the day at the Pocono Raceway. Dinner was delicious, waitress and bartender welcoming and attentive. It seemed like a long wait for our entrees but that could have been because we were a little tired. Scallop risotto was excellent with both scallops and shrimp. Pizza was worthy of Boston's North End, which is our favorite place for pizza. We would definitely return if we are in the area. read more

I ate there numerous times and almost every time is was great, however last time I was there the chicken Parm (which was on special) came out and I knew it didn't taste right but I just assumed it was me, so I ate the pasta and whatever else and brought the chicken home for lunch. The next day when I cut into the chicken to heat it up I realized it was completely raw in the middle.. I hoping this isn't starting a trend, I really enjoyed this place. read more

The food ordered by some of our party wasn't all bad but the burger was disgusting. Two people at our table had it and said same. It was a frozen burger that they didn't cook right and was still cold in center. The service was the bigger issue. They were incompetently ignorant. We had 7 o'clock reservation which by the look on their faces when we arrived they clearly overbooked. They told us they had a table but we're looking for chairs, yes, looking for chairs. Then it took forever to get drinks and dinner. It was to the point to had to order another drink when she dropped the first off. Then to top it off they asked us to leave immediately after paying bill because they had a large party. So to recap, sat us half hour late, took forever to serve then asked us to leave as if we were taking forever. Visited on 12/19/2014 for small office holiday dinner. The restaurant was obviously over booked and under staffed. We requested the enclosed patio area for ambiance, however, were seated at a high-top table at the bar. The area was so loud you had to yell across the table for conversation. The server took quite a while to address our table for the drink order and by that time we had looked at the menu and decided while she was there we would order our appetizers because we were unsure when she would return again. We ordered our entrees and one guest ordered risotto with seafood and I ordered the short rib. My guest did not complain about her risotto, however, my short rib was not a slow cooked short rib as described in the menu. It was, a slice of chuck roast wrapped around a large bone. It was surely not slow cooked as the meat was so difficult to chew and rather than be rude and spit it out, I had to swallow the meat whole. Our server, during our dinner, was no where to be found and when she finally saw our plates pushed to the edge of the table, she merely removed them without asking if everything was ok. When she appeared again she handed us our check and never asked if we wanted dessert. I had to ask my guest if she would like a dessert. I was disappointed in the service and food and will think twice about going again. read more

I want to preface this review with that fact that I have never ever been so negatively compelled to write a review for any establishment, therefore this is my first one. On Saturday night I had a reservation for 2 people at 6:30pm, which I know is a very busy time for most restaurants, hence the reservation. Upon arriving to OBI at 6:25, my boyfriend and I were told that it would a 15 minute wait and that the party that was at our table was just finishing dessert. I found myself asking why I even made a reservation, but we agreed to wait at the bar until our table was ready. The bar ,however, was so packed that there weren't any seats, but 2 men saw us searching for a seat and gave us theirs as they were leaving. I am sad to say this is the only positive experience I had at OBI. We sat down, ordered drinks and waited for our table. 15 minutes later, when the table was finally ready, the hostess didn't even come get us a the bar, she pointed and waved to us across the bar to get our attention. Once finally seated at our table with menus, we waited again; another 15 minutes went by before we even met our waitress or heard the features. She almost left the table after explaining the features, but we stopped so we could order our meals (Chicken Pesto and 8oz Sirloin with potatoes and pasta) in fear that she wouldn't return for another 15 minutes. (If you are keeping track of the time, this puts us to 6:55 that we finally ordered dinner.) We were severed our salads about 10 minutes after ordering, and that was the last time we saw our waitress for almost an hour. At 7:50, my boyfriend and I agreed that if the waitress didn't come with the meals in 5 minutes we were going to leave cash on the table for the salad and drinks and then just walk out. As the clock on my phone turned from 7:54 to 7:55, our waitress rounded the corner into the dining room with our dinners. I wish she hadn't. My dish looked like someone had dumped the entire pot of pesto Alfredo on pile of wet pasta (there was a pool of water in the bottom of the bowl) with a piece of fried chicken and a rock solid piece of prosciutto which had clearly been under the heating lamp for as long as we had been waiting. My boyfriends order was wrong; he got vegetables instead of the pasta he ordered, which he didn't complain about until he realized that the smashed potatoes and the vegetables were freezing cold. The only thing hot on his plate was the meat. Needless to say, we were done eating in 5 minutes because we didn't want to eat the meals and by 8:10 we had payed and left. I will never be going back to OBI as this experience has left me totally disgusted with the service and the food quality. I can't help but wonder if the poor service was due to the fact that we are both in our early twenties. read more
