My husband and I have been coming here for a long time, and we love this place! We have always had a great experience as the servers are very friendly and attentive- we practically know them all. Unfortunately that all changed on Saturday 6/20/20. We had a new server, Tiffany, who was abrupt and rude. She left us sitting for 20 minutes without taking our orders. I knew that she was new, so I walked up and asked if someone could please come take our order, and she came over. She immediately had an attitude and made a crappy remark before asking my son what he wanted to order. I wasn't having it - there is no reason for a bad attitude. We are regulars at this establishment, and this wasn't ok. I got up and walked over the GM and asked for a different server. Tiffany literally walked away from my son while he was mid-sentence because she saw that I was talking to the GM. Our service from that point on was fantastic, as it usually is. Felix is amazing. We still patronize this restaurant, but we will always ask for anyone but Tiffany. She was abrupt and rude, and we refuse to settle for that kind of service anywhere. PS. Oh how I love this place. If you enjoy breakfast as much as I do, you need to go here. It won't disappoint! I go here often, but always have to wait in line. If you get here after 9 on a weekend, be prepared to wait at least an hour (sometimes longer). The good news is that you can check-in with the host and they will text you when it's time to be seated. There is also a cool website that shows you your place in line so you can plan accordingly. If you really dislike a wait, I recommend getting here before 9. I have tried almost everything on the menu, and they have something for everyone. I normally go for The Bandit. It's 2 eggs and 2 pieces of sausage (or bacon) with a biscuit/gravy and 1 side (I go for the oatmeal). I'm never able to finish it as the portions are HUGE! James always gets the chicken fried steak - also amazing. Other things to try are the cinnamon rolls, pancakes and really anything else on the menu. They also have a lunch menu after 11. Wasn't expecting much because I'm not a big fan of restaurants in strip malls but was pleasantly surprised. Drove up to see a long line which is both good and bad but wait was only 20 mins so I stuck it out. Finally seated 40 mins later, which was as a little disappointing but still ok considering the crowd outside. I had the Bandit w scrambled eggs and their hash brown casserole. Expected it to be a Cracker Barrell knock off but it was so much better. Seriously, I could've made a meal out of the casserole. Went in on Saturday @ 9am. Wait time was as expected at about 25-30 mins. Food was good and hot. Good variety of foods. Son had French toast and daughter had pancakes. They loved it. GF and I had biscuits and gravy. I also had eggs and bacon. Over medium eggs were perfect (especially how busy they were). Server was attentive, but not overly so. Definitely busy, but she was able to keep checking in on us. Only thing to consider is noise level. It's loud. To the point my ears were ringing. I'm on the back end of a cold so that didn't help, but my kids and GF had the same comment. read more

Our friends introduced my wife and I to this place in Denton, TX so we were glad to see one in Bedford. Had no clue of the Grapevine location!! This place has the best breakfast around. From Tex-Mex, humongous pancakes, awesome and creative french toast, to the standard fare, they have it all. They even have a section of healthier choices. Everything is fresh and does not taste like a big box, off the line, meal. It really reminds me of something I would make in my kitchen. Portions are large and many can be easily shared. Coffee is good and refills are quick. What also really sets the place apart is the staff. Everyone is very laid back and works with a smile. You feel very welcomed and don't feel rushed to shovel down your meal and then rush out the door. Weekend's will bring a wait if you're not there early but it's very much worth it and usually isn't all that long. Doood. First, everyone is right: this place is busy! Took a few minutes to find a parking spot ...but magically, at 12:30 on a Saturday our wait for a table was less than five minutes. And that table was cute: a vague checkerboard burned into the top, a tub of pink and white and yellow and blue packets plopped right into a cutout in one corner (which could conveniently serve as checker pieces), and a wooden tool carrier-looking thingy holds all the ketchup (one regular, one jalapeño), Tabasco, and Cholula you'll soon need. Second, come hawngry. They do not mess around, the servings are very generous. And the piles of food are actually good, honest, real food. My kiddo had the Cattle Baron, an eggs Benedicty situation, but with grilled spinach and sliced tomatoes and avocados in with the English muffin and poached eggs and hollandaise. The spinach was clearly fresh minutes before, not that weird chopped frozen stuff. Plus two sides! I had french toast with strawberries, which has awesome little crunchies stuck to the batter. Whipped cream and fresh strawberries, and it comes with two eggs and two meats. And then the kid's boyfriend had a US Marshall, a crazy pile of two Texas toasts smothered with a slab of hash browns and sausage gravy, three eggs, and three sausages. And the options in general are pretty great: most of the meats are a choice of two sausage, two bacon, or ham; the sides that come with many plates are pretty varied: breakfast potatoes, grits, hash browns, corn fritters, sliced bananas or strawberries, yogurt... and I think all the toast/biscuit/English muffin/tortilla kind of things are also considered sides. Third, it's super reasonable! All three items hovered around the $10 range. It's RIDICULOUS. Fourth, service is friendly, fast, and unflappable. You've got to be to work in such a high-volume place! Lastly, they serve breakfast all day (well, they close at 2 pm. But the whole time they're open). Which is important to know because although they serve regular lunchy food too (WHY) and they serve healthy options (DOUBLE WHY), the legit kitchen sink breakfasts are where it's at. Oh, you'll take a giant cinnamon roll and batter and grill it, cover it in cream cheese icing, and then also give me eggs and meat AND a side? Better do THAT, at least once. One doesn't discourage that sort of thing. Okay, that's all, I'm tired. I have whipped cream and almond crunchies to sleep off. read more

Just came in for breakfast before a long day out in the city! It's pretty noisy on a Sunday morning and the wait time for 2 was around 45 minutes. If you don't have time to spare, get here early. The food was great and it's the same menu as the one in Denton. The service was also great. Not giving it 5 stars because it didn't blow my socks off however it was good enough for 4. Ordered: 1. Kid's flapjack breakfast - lemon pancake (10" in diameter!!!), 2 sausage patties, cut fruit. He didn't finish it. The lemon pancake is light fluffy with lots of lemon zest on top. 2. Kid's flapjack breakfast - blueberry pancake (also 10" diameter), 2 slices of bacon and apple sauce. Bacon was thick cut and super good. 3. Breakfast burrito - scrambled eggs, chorizo, cheddar and onions with salsa on the side. It was simple and tasty! 4. Eggs Benedict with two sides - hash browns and cut strawberries. The hash browns were delightfully crunchy on the outside and very flavorful. This was a party of 13 so there were bound to be some mistakes in the order (one guy got the lemon pancake but he wanted the blueberry pancake). Our waitress was SO sweet and helpful!!! We came on Black Friday, waited 40 minutes. Food came around 20 minutes after ordering. The food was good, the service was awesome. Prices are decent. Look forward to coming back for solid brunch. We had several servers ask us how we were doing. I had the breakfast tacos which were excellent. The potatoes and beans that came as sides were really good. My friend had the grits with bacon and toast as sides and he liked his breakfast. We would definitely return. Oldwest was super fast at getting the food out so even of you're in a hurry you can get fresh homemade food, fast. 12/30/12. I'm seriously trying to not eat at the same place twice for Sunday brunch but this place got another friends notice and I went along with her. I had migas and she had papai's huevos. Both dishes were even better than the dish I had the first time I went. The service was excellent again. The speed of the food getting to the table was outstanding. We used to drive all the way to their grapevine location (which is ALWAYS packed on a Saturday) until we found a closer location in Bedford. Different location but the same delicious breakfast food. The portions here are HUGE! The first time my husband and I came, we order our own separate meals. Needless to say, we had a ton to take home. So now we order one meal, The Wrangler. At $11.99 it leaves 2 grown people VERY full! My favorite of this dish has to be the hashed Browns. It's so flavorful and I can't put my finger on why (my husband is convinced that it's just extra butter). The biscuits and gravy are also awesome. The gravy is thick with tons of sausage! We always try to make it out here on Saturday morning, but it's hard since they close at 2! So do yourself a favor and try out Old West. read more

1st visit to the Bedford location and what a Great breakfast experience! On the same level as the Denton location and blows away the terrible Arlington location. The place is very clean and organized, the theme is great, the service was Awesome! James was polite, friendly, attentive and made our visit a Great one! The food was Delicious! Eggs were hot and cooked right (both over medium & scrambled), bacon & sausage was hot & flavorful, pancakes (blueberry lemon) and french toast were hot and full of flavor! Everything on our plates just tasted awesome and the food was Hot! So glad this place is just 7 mins from my house. Good to know OWC Bedford is high quality like OWC Denton. Some of the high quality at those two locations needs to be passed on to the Arlington location, that OWC needs ALOT of help! Will definitely be returning to OWC Bedford for some Delicious breakfast. read more

This time I ordered the "Wrangler", an unusually large meal. It was a little bit of a wait as usual but the food was fresh and hot.
