If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my Playboy denim skirt here for a simple alteration, and after three weeks, what I got back was an absolute disaster. The stitching is crooked, threads are hanging everywhere, and the line isn't even straight. It looks worse than before I dropped it off. she didn't even try to stick to the original stitching pattern on this skirt. What's even more insulting is that we paid her twice, and she still couldn't get it right. Her workmanship is careless, and it's clear she doesn't take pride in her craft. On top of that, she only seems friendly and attentive to Spanish-speaking customers -- if you don't, expect attitude and zero effort. This woman completely ruined a piece I loved, wasted my time, and charged me for it. Save yourself the money and frustration. Go somewhere that actually knows how to sew and respects all their customers equally. like I'm sorry did I give it to a five-year-old to stitch. If I wanted this quality of work, I would've done it myself at home. if she's too old to work, she needs to retire. cause this quality of work is ridiculous read more

I needed a last minute alteration and when I walked in, she helped me IMMEDIATELY, took my measurements and told me to come back in 40 minutes. She was kind, efficient, and I must add- when I walked in, she was working on a gentlemen's jacket and did pause to help me- after taking my measurements, she went back to his jacket. I found Olga on yelp, even with no reviews yet mom who needed alterations for her dress went to see her multiple times. And also my sister, they were both happy with results and how affordable it is to get alterations for dresses, long gowns as well. Her shop is small and shabby but Olga is very nice and helpful. Pros: 1.) The prices are very affordable compared to the rates being charged around the neighborhood. 2.) The shop is open on weekends which is a plus for those with a 9-5 job. My main seamstress is only available on the weekdays which is a bummer for me since I started my new job. 3.) Olga does a pretty good job in terms of common altering jobs -- especially with denim and suiting items. 4.) As for less common alterations, I had her take in the shoulders of a trench coat and it turned out really nice! In addition, most seamstresses won't take a shoulder altering job unless you're willing to shell out lots of cash. Olga will do it for a very reasonable price. Cons: 1. It's cash only. 2. If you want to get some alterations done, I highly suggest that you keep a list of the items that you're leaving with Olga. Take a photo of the bag that you're leaving your garments in (and take a photo of your garments individually) and staple a note with your info on that bag! I say this because It's difficult for her to keep track of orders. 3. Know what you want altered and how you want your garment to be altered. Do your research first. I mention this because Olga is not the kind of person who's going to tell you what kind of fit looks best on you. This maybe a minus for those who like getting expert opinions on fit. 4.) The parking situation isn't the most ideal so plan ahead. Additional comments: 1. If I'm unable to see my main seamstress, I will come to Olga since she's available on weekends. 2. This is a small, humble-looking shop with a sweet little dog lounging inside of it. This may or may not be your cup of tea depending on your preference. If your focus is getting a decent altering job at a good price this might be worth checking out. However, if you're not into that hole-in-the-wall vibe or have an allergy to pets I would probably recommend that you find another place. I read some mean comment here that even criticized the dog for its mere existence. Um, seriously? 3.) My tip is to bring some minor altering jobs (like hemming a pair of pants) to Olga to see if you like her work. If you do, she will save you some money. If not, then you haven't lost that much. read more
