The entire restaurant was filthy dirty. When we were sat at our table, there were crumbs and food still on the table from prior guests and the booth seats had food in them. There was food and crumbs all over the the floor and the bathrooms didn't appear to have been cleaned in quite some time. Every time I come to this location there is always an issue, either bad service, out of spinach pie or something else.

Food is good but customer service is always lacking. I have gone to this Olga's many times in the past few years and the restaurant is always dirty (tables left unclean), no one greets you when you enter or seats you. There is always "an issue" and there is a wait to get seated in a 75% empty restaurant. Additionally we tried curbside service and had to wait over an hour before our food was supposed to be ready. It's one thing if this is a one time occurrence but every single time?? I understand working in a restaurant can get stressful at times but this is ridiculous. Food is good but probably won't be returning anytime soon since I know service will be bad 100% of the time. Management needs to have a better idea of how their restaurant is run. read more

The only good thing about this place was our server, she was really nice....We ordered the spinach feta cheese dip and it was really bland had to add some salt to it...The cesar salad was the worst thing ever for $7:49! Menu says its hand tossed, which it is not and you get two little ceasar dressing cups each like an ounce cup, I counted the cherry tomatoes in each of our salad, each salad had 3 1/2 cherry tomatoes! That's it! The salad hardly had any cheese at all....Croutons had no flavor and were very hard...A big regret coming here, you are better off going to kroger and buying yourself a bag of romaine lettuce and a case of cherry tomatoes for less than the price of one salad! The BEST customer service! I had a lot of issues with the "corporate" online ordering service. (Just a heads up if you are placing a large order online, the store does not receive it on their end until about 10 minutes before the pick up time. I am so glad I called the restaurant the day before, as I had a very order in the system. I worked with Danny, one of the managers, and I am so thankful that I was put in touch with him. He had me email him my receipts, and his team went above and beyond to make sure my order was ready for my work meeting. The waitress was great. The food was so so. Kids enjoyed the mac and cheese. I got the oven roasted turkey and added the three cheese option. I was disappointed by the small amount of turkey, and overall temperature of the dish, which i expected served hot. T is such a good server. my team and i came in without a reservation and she got us a table in no time. My team ordered a ton of food and she didn't forget any of it. Definitely recommend coming here with your team or if you want a good meal on a hurry. I love Olga's, however this location we had a super bad service and the food was not the Olga's we know. My husband and I came in after shopping, the place was not busy at all there was a few tables on either side of the restaurant and no waitress in sight. We waited about 5 minutes to finally see a staff person, and were seated towards the back of the restaurant. We were not seen again for our drink order after another 5-10 minutes bc we saw our waitress mopping the bathroom by the time she was done we were ready to order and thankful she washed her hands. She was not friendly and was inattentive. She brought out all of our food at once, even when my husband ordered a soup appetizer. One of the sandwiches was wrong and the other was missing the sauce on the side, the fries were hard and probably left out for hours, and the soup was cold. For a slow restaurant in the middle of the day during the week this was unacceptable. The waitress corrected the errors finally bought out our correct order and it took her FOREVER to get us the bill and bring us a box. How this happened with a not busy restaurant I will never know! Our quick bite to eat while shopping took way to long. The location we normally go to was much different since they include fries with each sandwich and the service is never this poor. RE: NOVI, MI LOCATION: On 04/12/19, I called in a carry out order at 11:20AM. I was told that it would be ready at 11:30. I got there at around 11:40 to pick it up (didn't do curbside pick up). When I parked, I noticed a car waiting in the curbside parking area. I waited 10 mins. at the counter before being helped, and help came only after I flagged down a waitress for it. I told her I had been waiting for 10 mins to pick up a carry out and no one had come out of the kitchen (even though I heard another waitress yell to the people in the kitchen "counter"...which I am assuming was to alert them that I was waiting). Her response was "we don't have a hostess....its not our fault." So it was my fault I had to wait because I called in a carry out? Umm...no....I don't think so. When someone else FINALLY came out of the kitchen, who I'm assuming was a manager, she looked like she hadn't bathed in a week and her clothes were filthy. (Hoping she wasn't the one handling ANYONE'S food.) Lastly, when I returned to my car (fifteen minutes later), the lady that was parked in the curbside pick up area was still waiting, so I politely walked over and told her if she wanted her food anytime soon, she should probably go in & get it herself. Your staff at the Novi, MI location needs to be retrained on customer service & some of them on personal hygiene. read more

Usually I love Olga's but this location is awful. I went for lunch with my wife, and upon entering the place, there was an awful smell. Kinda like a musty moldy rag smell. At any rate, when I informed the manager, he kinda looked as if he didn;t know what we were talking about. To my regret, we sat down anyways, thinking the smell will go away or we will get used to it, but it continued to get worse. We wrapped our food up to go without eating, and I am currently trying to get rid of the nausiousness caused by the aroma so I can eat my take out. Unfortunately Olga's has always been one of my husband's favorite places to eat (as far as quick, sit down food is concerned). I've never been a huge fan, but I do enjoy some of the new salads that they've had on the menu in the last year or so. We go to this location quite frequently because it is close to where we live. It is ALWAYS packed. I rarely go when there is not a wait, even on a weekday. The service (or should I say the wait for the food) is normally a little longer than what I'd like to wait with two hungry little boys in tow. A few days ago we went on a weeknight for dinner and there was a 15-20 minute wait. We finally sat down and ordered our drinks and some snackers, Our waiter brought our drinks and a different waiter brought our snackers. Then our waiter was MIA for a LONG time. I finally had to go seek out the manager to ask if we could get drink refills and our appetizer plates cleared. The service was the worst I've had at Olgas BY FAR. It will take a lot of begging on my husband's part to get me to go back there again when there are so many other good choices close by in the area. The Brighton location has given us good service in the past so if you really need your Olga's fix, I recommend that location. read more

Abbey does the best to go service !! She's friendly and always has my order right. Olgas bread is the bomb. Their food is made fresh so make sure you allot for time. This is not fast food. Not once have they given us what we had acutally ordered. On the bill everything was right, but in the take out bag there has been at least one item missing for the past 4 times we ordered there. Today: a salad missing, the side aioli was sour cream. We've told them each time that we didn't get what we had ordered, they apologized but we clearly can't see any improvement. Lunch today was pretty bad. I ordered (on a bigger take-out order for the company I work for) a Mediterranean Spinach Salad, and so did another employee here. The salads did have spinach, a very small amount of feta, a few red peppers and tortilla strips. What wasn't there, but listed on the menu, were cucumber, grape tomato, kalamata olives & pepperoncini. A spinach pie was not even in the take-out bag. read more

This was my first time at this Olga's location and was also my last. When my husband and I arrived the place was not full; we didn't have to wait to be seated. That said, we waited longer than normal for a waitress to greet us and take a drink order. When she finally arrived we knew what we wanted, so ordered our sandwiches with a basket of fries along with our coffees. So we waited. And waited. She came over to us and said sorry for the delay but they're being washed (what, the coffee pots? Really?), so would we like water while we were waiting? The next time she came over she had no waters but set the fries down on the table. Aren't you supposed to first get your drink, then a short time later receive your meal components all together? Meanwhile the fries were getting colder and colder and we still have no coffee. The waters eventually found their way to us. When she brought us our coffees I told her that the fries needed to go back and we wanted hot fries WITH our meal. She laughed and said she thought we wanted our fries as an appetizer! Not once did we even mention any appetizer. She then took the fries and disappeared again. When my husband went to take a drink of his long awaited coffee, there were grounds floating throughout. Wow. How does one screw up a cup if coffee?!? Now we really had "grounds" to complain! So we finally got our food (this was the longest we've ever waited for food at any Olga's location), along with a fresh basket of hot curly fries, and the food was good as usual. When our waitress checked on us my husband asked for a fresh cup of coffee as his was not drinkable and I asked for a refill as well. She came out with his cup, but no coffee pot or carafe for my refill. By this time we had had it. I had a free birthday dessert coming to me from my rewards, but I told my husband that it just wasn't worth the time and grief if I were to order it from that restaurant. So sad. This use to be my favorite place to go for a nice lunch with my husband every Saturday or Sunday afternoon after shopping. My biggest pet peeve with this location was the fact that after being in Home Depot shopping I would use the ladies room to wash my hands and the water was always ice cold, my thoughts on seeing the sign all employees must wash their hands made me cringe because cold water does nothing. I made my coneren known a few times and nothing changed. We decided hand sanitizer was our friend and went once again this past weekend where the place was pretty empty and the service well... Let me say Mandy needs a customer service class. I ordered extra Olga bread with my 3 cheese and once I was finished with my 3 cheese I went to eat the bread and it was rock hard. The bill came and my husband asked our server if we could have another piece of bread as their one was like a rock.. She looked at him and I with disgust and stated.. Well it sat there the whole meal. ,,! I was speechless for about a second and explained you do not do that , my husband said it was hard when it came out and then and only then Mandy said oh ok. Next thing we see is the manager whom we didn't ask for at our table presenting us with a bag with a piece of bread I. It and our receipt to sign after we charged the meal. He said here's new bread have a nice day.. wow what service, needless to say we signed the cc slip and left the bag with the bread at the table.
