I haven't been to Olga's in years, and on the way home from Toledo, I stopped here to get gas and grab a quick bite to eat. I cruised around the shopping complex and decided that since it's been so long, why not eat here? It was still relatively early on a Saturday (11:30ish) but there were people in here dining. I was seated by the hostess and reviewed the menu. It still has the same old favorites, but they seemed to have revamped it since I late ate here. I knew I wanted an Olga's original, but I saw that they have a combo deal where you get a salad, a side of fries and a regular sized Olga's original for only $12.59. Heck yeah! The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was really really good. My server was fantastic and the place was clean and well decorated as always. Very relaxing after a long day of driving. All in all I had a wonderful experience here and would return in the future when I'm in the area. read more

I used to love they're snackers until the last few times I've been here the snackers are practically unseasoned

mind you the restaurant only had 3 other tables filled. One of the servers was vary lazy. My girlfriend ordered a certain meal and the server said-- "oh I'm sorry we are out of marinara sauce" my girlfriend said-- "that's OK" 20-30 minutes later the server came back with just my food and the server said-- "are you sure you don't want anything else?" My girl friend said-- " it's OK I'll just eat it without the marinara sauce" The server-- "oh can't ring it up though because we are out of the marinara sauce" After that, my girlfriend realized and ordered a different plate and I set my food to the side while we waited. It took another 15 minutes before we got her plate. Why would the server just assume that I get a plate of food and she's just going to sit with a water the whole part of that job is to understand a customer and make sure that the customer understands you in order to provide good service. She didn't once come back to refill my drink until the end of the night when we were about to leave is when she offered. She is lucky we still tipped because that was very lazy behavior and I don't believe and not tipping a server as they do not get paid very much but that being said you should earn your money from your service not from pity. One last thing I accidentally left my sunglasses there and my girlfriend called the store later that day because we were not close to the area to come back. She said "hey my boyfriend left his sunglasses when we were eating in there. Is there a chance you can set it aside for us to come back tomorrow and pick up" and the person who picked up said "oh I just do to go orders" it wasn't worth the waste in time of a phone call so my girlfriend just gave up Very disappointed in the laziness do better guys read more

Sparkling clean and bright inside. Excellent and attentive service. Wonderful food! The curly fries are crispy and seasoned well. The spinach and cheese pie is flaky, cheesy, and delicious. The original Olga is tender and the Olga sauce is glorious. I loved the Hell Fire Detroit Spicy Chicken Olga. Fantastic!!! Well balanced, spicy, but not too spicy. The Olga bread is always magical and sweet. Delicious mandarin cardamom refresher drink. Fruity and sweet. The bathrooms are really clean and spacious too. Located in a strip mall, plenty of parking. I have never complained at a restaurant. First customer on a Sat am. Floor was so greasy our feet were sliding. You could see the grease. Then noticed the booths tables and walls were dirty. Restroom reeked of urine and was filthy. Manager said she noticed the smell the night before and put an air freshener in there. She said they'd "try to take care of the floor that evening". Olga's Kitchen is a Michigan staple. I've been frequenting Olga's since I was a kid. My favorite items are the original Olga and the snackers. They have a value meal for $10.99 that includes an original Olga sandwich, curly fries and a small Olga salad. You can't beat that deal especially in today's economy. Their bread is heavenly and so unique. I'm definitely dining here again before returning home to NC. I'll probably get one of those original Olga sandwich kits to bring back with me too. read more

Stopped here for lunch, seated immediately. Snackers and artichoke dip were great like always. I got the Mediterranean wrap with a salad, I never got my salad. We were running errands and just quickly stopped, so I didn't feel like waiting for it. The meat in the wrap was tough, like it was over cooked. The rest of the wrap was good. The steak and cheese wrap was bland, not bad, but bland. The curly fries were good but really salty. I don't have high expectations for Olga's, but I didn't even get what I ordered. I ordered a chicken olga; there was barely by chicken in it. I asked them to fix it. Guy at the counter touched my sandwich with his dirty gloves then rewrapped it. I watched him take it back to the kitchen and give it to a chef. He didn't know I could see him. He came back to the register and tried to give me the sandwich that he held in his dirty hands. When I refused and said I wanted a fresh sandwich he tried to convince me it was a completely different sandwich than the one I gave him. I asked for a refund. One place I love to stop at during a visit home in Michigan is Olga's. This particular location is new to me but I was in the area. I don't know what it is about their 'Olga's', but I absolutely love them! It's like a greek gyro but their shell is just a little different. From other locations, I was told they were made there in the restaurant. Different location but same great flavor that I always remember! I had the Original Olga which is filled with lamb, tomato, onions and Olga sauce. The sauce is yogurt based that I can't get enough of! The Greek style curly fries are new which are topped with Olga sauce and feta cheese. Yum! The fries were crisp and piled high. There was just enough sauce and feta to neatly blanket the french fries. Loved this! But don't forget to order the Snackers! Olga bread with a fantastic seasoning and their almond cheese spread. I think I could live on Snackers alone! Service here was just ok. She did keep our drinks filled but when it was time to cash out, she took her time. We were sitting where I could look through to the kitchen where she made the transaction. I noticed her eating and chatting away with another coworker. That doesn't really bode well for me. For what this is, and the type of restaurant it is...I think this a middle of the road quick stop for gyros, salads, or soup. Food: In my opinion the snackers and plain gyro are the best items on the menu. I've also had a couple of the soups and they are a nice compliment to lunch. Service: I've been to this location a couple times, and the service has always been friendly and fast. I haven't experienced any issues and would definitely come back for a quick bite. We had a rough time with the Monroe store due to management. We came here this week and it was delicious. The only complaint I have is when asked to sit at a close table due to my mother with a cane we were told "we can't seat out of turn and section". The girl did try and resolve it, but we didn't wanna mess up their system. We ordered snackers, 2 sandwiches, a soup and salad and got a free dessert. First time trying the Carolina BBQ and it was delicious. Soup was hot, snackers were hot and fresh, salad was crisp and well dressed.
