We order party platters of various pasta dishes and have been quite surprised how carefully prepared and delicious they all have been. Wish I had taken some pics. Also the portions have been quite generous with one small exception. And they more than made up for it this last time. Not only do they get the details right, they also come right out the moment you pull into one of the reserved "pick up" spaces. Once verified the food came right out and was very carefully placed in our car. All without asking. And the server was so very warm and pleasant. Made her happy with little $. Modern space, friendly staff, decor leans more upscale-casual than red-checkered-tablecloth. Full disclosure: all the sausage and pepper sandwich chatter lately put me in the mood, so that's what I went with. Served on what's basically a focaccia-style bread, and the first bite took me straight back to the Jersey Shore. Great sandwich, chatter justified. Wife had the caprese panino and subbed a cup of lentil soup for the fries -- her call, and she said it was the best lentil soup she's had, full-bodied even with some heat to it. Service here is its own animal. You're handed menus and seat yourself, then go order and pay at the counter, get your own fountain drinks, and everything gets run to your table when it's ready. No cc surcharge, which is more than I can say for some places. The counter transaction comes with the now-standard tip screen ambush -- I hit no tip for no service, since at that point none had been rendered. But Sarah came around to check on us, refilled drinks, offered boxes, and chatted about the food, so she earned the $5 we left after the fact. 10%, fairly. One complaint: the place was frigid. Bring a jacket. Good food, good value, a service model that takes a minute to figure out but works once you know Sarah's going to show up. We'll be back.

We were disappointed to learn that no bread or salad came with either meal and had to be ordered separately at $5 each. There seemed to be an inordinate amount of pasta on the Pescatore fra Diavalo which was served in a boat type dish. My SO would have prepared a few more ingredients rather than what seemed like a pound of pasta. Our server was attentive and friendly and the bathrooms were clean. All in all it was ok. To start, we had the garlic knots as an appetizer. They were well-made with garlic and butter and were a good way to begin the meal. Shortly after, our pizza slices arrived. The pizza was expertly prepared, and we thoroughly enjoyed every slice. We also liked the primavera crust. Opting for individual slices instead of a whole pizza allowed us to both save money and try a variety of pizza options. I chose the soup which was Italian wedding soup. The soup was hot and the broth had flavor, but the pasta was overcooked it almost disintegrated in my mouth. The chicken Parmesan took a little while to come out. The server did apologize and admit it her small error on why it took so long. I did thank her for her honesty and she was super apologetic. Everything else she did for me with stellar. Once the chicken Parmesan came out, it did smell amazing, but it lacked any type of flavor, the chicken and breading tasted like it was frozen prior, once they baked the dish the cheese was melted on top perfectly. Upon cutting and tasting the entree is where all my disappointment come. The sauce was subpar, and the chicken was lackluster. The best part about the dish was cheese. The side of pasta it came with marinara on top with even less flavor than the chicken Parmesan. I really do love supporting small businesses that are local but I just can't see myself coming back here. I did decide to leave the server a little bit over 20% especially since she owned up to her own mistake about why the entrée took so long.

I ordered the Mediterranean pizza, and it arrived overly oily with a soggy bottom crust. It was inedible. When I called the restaurant, I was told they couldn't issue a refund and that I needed to contact Uber Eats instead. After going through unnecessary hoops with Uber Eats, and having to dispose of the pizza, I finally received a refund. Sadly, this experience has convinced me not to return to ABC Pizza or use Uber Eats again. I truly hope ABC Pizza improves its food quality and customer service, especially given its long-standing presence in the community.
