I struggled with the star rating for this place because it was my moms idea to eat here, as she lives locally and I feel like this is more of a come for dinner when you don't want to cook yourself type of place. It's Saturday evening on a holiday weekend and the place was pretty busy. People continued to come in and pick up to-go orders and all the booths were full. Family owned and the owner even stopped by our table to let us know what he makes fresh, like the meatballs and lasagna. So maybe I gotta come back and try that. My meal for a slice of cheese pizza, small salad and a ginger ale was $8 which is a DEAL! I can tell the locals frequent and Zephyrhills is a less developed part of Florida in comparison to like a Wesley Chapel so I feel like you gotta give some perspective. It's a family vibe and the servings are plentiful and the service here is probably the first thing I noticed. Everyone is super friendly, for a small joint, they'll bring your food out piping hot if you're dining in and as I mentioned, the chef will have a chat and check in on you which is way more than I can say about a lot of places. The pizza was okay. I wasn't a fan of the crust and I'm someone who looks forward to the crust. I found it to be flavorless. I did like the crispy bottom and how it held up to a fold. The salad was fine, and the dressing was a standard Italian. Nothing to write home about but the eggplant parm was a lot of food. You could easily get three servings from it. I think the sauce was delicious, although just a tad on the salty side for me. I liked the spaghetti, it was al dente and for me was the only thing with texture on the plate. I thought everything else ate like soft food and I personally like different textures when I eat so while the flavor was good, it was just a lot of melted cheese and sauce and I wasn't really sure when or if I was getting a bite of eggplant. If I went back, I'd ask what's made in house and give it a try. If you're not too much of a food snob like me and can enjoy food that's giving home cooked vibes at a great value, then this place delivers. read more

I wish I could give more stars and a good review however when I called the person that answered the phone simply said "Hello" so I had to ask if I had Capris pizza. She was very short. Not personable and didn't listen to me when I was ordering. We got the "large" pizza which they call The works I call it supreme but it really doesn't have the works. It is lacking toppings. Very minimal toppings added and I asked for bacon and olives as well which normally doesn't come on it. The toppings were mostly in the middle of the slice, it was lacking cheese and no one was happy with it at all. It was lacking flavor. Also there is no way this was a large pizza. The box is for a typical medium pizza. The pizza makers need to be retrained and or the price needs to come down and it be called something other than the works. Btw I paid extra for added toppings. Moved to Zephyrhills a little over a year ago and have been looking for good restaurants which there are not that many, but tonight it had to be authentic Italian style pizza and this place delivered!!! Their food was quite extensive for such a small place but they were very nice when I called then 15 minutes before closing not realizing the time and they are were accommodating and I got to go home with a nice cheese pie . Recently bought the Silician Works. Very highly disappointed! Although the pizza itself was a generous size, the toppings were very VERY skimpy. We paid $28 for this. According to the menu, there should have been sausage, which was nonexist on ours. Just how someone can manage something so tasteless is beyond me, but they did just that (more then likey because of the skimpy ingredients/sauce). They might have cut costs making this pizza, but joke's on them, we won't give them any more business. Let me start by saying this review is twofold. Capri Pizza and Slice Delivery. We are new to the area and were looking for a good place to get pizza. Capri had a good rating, so we decided to order. I placed our order online and thought all was good. Unfortunately. things went downhill from there. ..... The delivery person had issues delivering to us due to his speeding in our RV park and I had to meet him at an offsite location to get our food, which negated the idea of delivery. I called Capri to complain, and the manager told me he could do nothing. They only made the food and once it was handed over to Slice delivery it was their problem. He then said that I should put our now stone cold pizza in the oven and heat it up and it would be fine. That was not the point here - your delivery service sucks and is hurting your business. And then insult me by telling me to warm up the pizza I expected to arrive hot really ruffled my feathers. We did heat up the pizza and I would rate it as mediocre. I had asked to have extra sauce on the pizza, but it was not added so the reheating sucked up the sauce that was there and made the pizza very dry.
