I've been eating at ABC Pizza since it was next to the Pasco Twin Theater, and it's been a favorite of mine since childhood. Unfortunately, my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered the Mediterranean pizza, and it arrived overly oily with a soggy bottom crust. It was inedible. When I called the restaurant, I was told they couldn't issue a refund and that I needed to contact Uber Eats instead. After going through unnecessary hoops with Uber Eats, and having to dispose of the pizza, I finally received a refund. Sadly, this experience has convinced me not to return to ABC Pizza or use Uber Eats again. I truly hope ABC Pizza improves its food quality and customer service, especially given its long-standing presence in the community. read more

The place was spotless and the staff made you feel right at home. Our meal was perfect and brought back many memories of great times. This was our first visit and WOW! This is wonderful. We were greeted promptly as we walked in and greeted quickly at our table. We ordered the Greek Sampler appetizer ($10.85)featuring Dolomades, Spanikopita, Greek potato salad served in a bed of lettuce with ripe slices of tomato and peperoncini's, toasted Pita triangles, tzatziki sauce and feta cheese on the side. This alone would have been enough for a meal for two of us. The Spanakopita is hot, crisp and creamy at the same time. This is probably the best I've had and we have been to many Greek restaurants. The potato salad is just right, not too creamy or Mayo'd up. The dolomades (rice stuffed grape leaves) have a creamy texture inside making this very nice. We shared The Gyro pizza (large fir $19.75) had a nice thinner but not thin crust that is toasty on the bottom and not at all soggy. It featured a tzatziki sauce base, gyro meat, Mozzerella cheese with fresh chopped tomato and red onions on top. Very tasty. We stopped in for a late lunch and still left with lots of leftovers to enjoy later. Dora was our server and she was great. Food is made to order and served promptly. Our drinks were never empty. Dora was friendly and interactive with us and the tables around us. Our total adding two u sweet iced tea ( and Dora brought us 2 to go) was $37.66 plus tip. I was pretty happy with my order. The portion was sufficient , the food was hot, I didn't wait too long. Price was within expected range. The only thing I'd say - my Gyro had a hint of pizza flavor but even this worked out ok for me. Tzatziki sauce could be a bit more strong, it was creamy but a lot like a regular sour cream. Had dinner there last night. Took advantage of the spaghetti special that is is available 3 nights a week. Add a salad and you have a wonderful meal for under $10. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We ordered 2 pizzas from ABC last night (new customers, just moved here, looking for a new favorite pizza place!). We placed our order on line ON THIER WEB SITE and paid via credit card. When I arrived to pick up the pizzas (10 minutes AFTER we were told they would be done), they told me they weren't ready, so I took a seat to wait. About 10 minutes later two guys came in, with 2 pizza boxes, and said "these are the wrong pizzas we called about", and the girl behind the counter took them and gave them 2 other pizzas. I was curious, so I asked "did you accidentally give them my pizzas?" and she said yes, that is what happened, and I laughed it off. A few minutes later they bring out my new pizzas, and I drive home with them. When we open them, they were inedible- they were not cooked all the way and the dough was raw- we couldn't even pick the pieces up. My husband took the pizzas back, and the girl was very rude- did not even apologize or offer to remake the pizzas. She also said they would not give us a refund, because when you pay on the web site it is through a third party and they would have to grant the refund. (I have read the terms and conditions on the web site, and it clearly states the restaurant is responsible for refunds.) My husband was so angry that he left the pizzas by the door on his way out. What terrible customer service- raw pizza, no apology, no acknowledgement of responsibility and refusal to give us a refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! read more

This place is an example of why I choose to write reviews. We're on a camping trip around the Tampa area and only found this restaurant because of Yelp. It's awesome that people take the time to guide others like our family so we have a positive experience. We tried the Cuban pizza, the Al Capone, and the kids had the stuffed shells. The Cuban pizza was outstanding and unique, had mayo, chunks of salami, pickles. The Al Capone was piled high with meat toppings. The stuffed shells we're very good and could easily feed two adults. Absolutely Horrible!!! Arrived and was seated...after 5 minutes waitress came over to get drinks and take our order. After waiting additional 45 minutes and hearing other customers complaining about the food taking too long....we asked for something to eat because we needed something the waitress promised us a salad...10 minutes later...no salad no food ...nothing management seem not to care about their guests! I cannot tell you if the food was any good cause we never got it.... just wondering if the pizza on the buffet when they have it is all the walk out orders over the weekend. First let me say this place is fresh and the layout flows! It's clean, great lighting and TVs are a great addition. Seating was great. Barely any wait time and staff greater is when we walked through the door. Staff looked happy and not miserable. Our waitress, on point!! Checked on us 4-5 times to make sure everything was good and filled our drinks without being asked. Very clean!! The food......HOT, FRESH, SEASONED, & DELICIOUS!!! We had a Large spinach pizza...not greasy, not undercooked and spinach/feta/toppings in every bite. The all meat pie...you don't see toppings like that on commercial pizza joints!!! The pizza is a little pricey but totally worth it!! Mini Greek salad was plenty for 4! The Greek potato salad was really tasty with the right texture and not mush. My wife's side salad was filling. All the salad was fresh and the tomatoes were vibrant red/form & not mushy. The Greek dressing was exactly that, Greek. We bought a bottle to bring home because it's that good! You could taste the season/mixture that they use to create it. Try the Greek sampler it's a meal in itself for two!! Spanikopita was only dry in the filo dough it was cooked it and it wasn't soggy. The dolmadekis wrapped grape leaves (not sure i spelled that right) were really good. The pita point and Zteziki (cucumber based sauce) was delicious and not overpowering. We could also see other plates brought out that had consisted of baked lasagna and baked spaghetti that all looked amazing! The waitresses could be heard telling the customer to watch out for the hot plate! Oh and the banana splits (I believe) looked so delicious and would take you back to your childhood if you have ever had a real banana split. Went here on a recommendation from a friend. Was we ever disappointed. Didn't know the buffet would be pizza and salad. The salad bar was good. Capri has better salad. Now for the pizza bar, How in heaven's name can you eat that crap. Granted we got there couple of hours before the buffet closed. They must get a deal on vegetables, because that is all the type of pizza offered. The two favorite toppings for pizza is pepperoni & sausage. None was offered on the bar. So, I saw reviews on here that the gyros platter and pizza are good and i wanted to try something different! So I called in for takeout and asked the person taking my order for their suggestion of the platter or pizza? They said platter, it comes with a salad and side, or I have the option of two sides. The platter includes the salad? "Yes" Ok, so I chose a side of fries and garlic pasta. So I pickup my order and tipped the lady for being so helpful on the phone. I drive home and lay out my spread and find they've forgotten my salad! I called in and they apologized, and said I could come by to pick up the salad (even though it was 10pm). I guess I could drive back 5min to pick up that salad. I arrive and some people are still picking up takeout (I thought their doors would be shut). A lady (manager?) gave me a giant salad and apologized for the missed salad and said they made it full size for my troubles. Wow, def made my drive back worth it! So, food wasn't bad but fries were like any frozen fries you buy at the supermarket, unseasoned and bland. So, next time I'll just nix the fries and do double side of garlic pasta. Today, I placed that order and had it confirmed over the phone. I go pick it up and there's only 1 side of garlic pasta, the girl told me it's the two side orders combined into one container. No, last time I ordered it was the same small amount for the 1 side. So, she gets (manager?) same lady that gave me the large salad last time. "What seems to be the problem here?" I explain that I'm missing my other side order of the garlic pasta. She says that it's the salad and 1 side... but I ordered 2 sides. She says she remembers me from last time then says if I want another side it's an upcharge, I think she said $5? Ok, no thanks. So, what I'm gathering is that the salad ISN'T included with the platter and is considered a side, or there's no such thing as a 2 side option?? Or did they change their mind and no longer offer it? But why did that girl say there were two side orders combined into one? It's not my fault the staff aren't on the same page, but I think this time around was poorly handled. I got no apology for the mix up, but looked at like I'm in the wrong? If i was told prior about an up charge bc of mix up I might've been fine, and said sure whatever, but why lie?? In all honesty, I did not have the best experience at ABC Pizza. The hostess seated us in a rush and didn't have the best attitude. The table was really tight and there was a terrible draft where we were sitting; we were freezing. The menu had so many options that we couldn't decide and when I asked the waitress what she recommended she told us how she loved everything on the menu. (This did not help.) She recommended the eggplant fries and spoiler alert, I was disappointed. Since I was getting an appetizer, I decided to get a sandwich (Grinder.) My friend got a calzone. Twenty-five to Thirty minutes later., the food arrived. The bag of chips was on top of the sandwich. Weird flex but okay? Not the best presentation there but the sandwich was tasty. I'd probably get the sandwich again. The eggplant fries on the other hand, first off why do we even need eggplant fries? They basically tasted like fried mushrooms without the mushroom or fried zucchini without the zucchini. What I'm trying to say is, the eggplant didn't have enough flavor to carry the dish. My friend's calzone looked good and she wasn't disappointed. I really want to return and try something else on the menu but at the same time, the service was very slow. If I go back, I'll keep you posted but for right now, if you're looking for a quick meal, I wouldn't recommend. Just visited Dade City for the first time and got a meal here with my family. We had pizza, calzone, and a banana split. Which all tasted amazing btw. And the service was incredible. The hostess showed us to a booth and dropped ONE menu on the table - had to ask for a second one! Ordered the eggplant gyro and a meatball sub. The server dropped our plates on the table and kept going! I had to ask a server who was passing by if it was as the eggplant or meat gyro. She had to look it over before saying it was eggplant. I was expecting slices of eggplant - not mashed eggplant. The meatball sandwich was OK except it was loaded with peppers. Maybe we didn't read the menu closely enough to know to ask for no peppers! No soft surfaces in restaurant to absorb sound. Loud customers and noise from kitchen. Enough other dining facilities in the area so we don't have to return here. read more
