Really good balsamic vinegars and olive oils. You can try a bunch of combinations which are all very good. They even helped direct me to combinations I would have never thought to try (like blood orange olive oil with raspberry balsamic). Tried this place for the first time in San Carlos with some friends and had a great experience. The owners are very friendly and the set up is great. You can taste a huge great variety of different blends of oils and vinegars you wont find elsewhere. They even sell interesting flavors of pasta to temp your cravings as well. We bought the vanilla balsamic vinegar and the Tuscan herb organic oil. They are great on salad or for dipping in bread while sipping wine. I will definitely go back to pick up some others. An olive oil tasting room, who wouda thought! Although I wish they had bread with their tastings, it was a blast trying all their different balsamics and oils. My husband and I just stumbled upon this place when we were out walking Laurel Street, and I am so glad we went in. We ended up buying the Pomegrante Balsamic and the 18 year old balsamic. I have already opened up the Pom and paired it with olive oil, basil and oregano, delicious! Mike, the owner is also awesome, really knowledgable and patient with questions. This place is WAY cooler than any other place like it that I have been to. Most oil and vinegar shops let you try a few things but this place mixes flavors into beautiful emulsions. Fig Balsamic and Garlic EVOO, Blood Orange EVOO and Strawberry Balsamic, Chocolate Balsamic with Harrisa EVOO. OMG they were all SO good i was dreaming of all the tasty salads in my future. My cupboard is full of flavored oils thanks mainly to the Olive Crush. Their's are more potent and so well seasoned compared to your basic flavored oil. I panicked when I ran out of Meyer Lemon oil and Tuscan Herb oil! You could literally spend at least an hour in there- you can sample (they have every flavor imaginable plus sell other seasonings on the side such as Asado which is amazing on meats and even turkey burgers! Mike can show you amazing combinations to make, for example, spicy chicken salad dressing that includes their Japenese Roasted Sesame oil that smells like no other.... and the variety of balsamic's they have such as honey ginger, pineapple and pear... I just can't get enough I want to buy them all!! The combinations I sampled were so good I not only tried, I kept drinking it! They also have a store in Half Moon Bay. Go!!!! read more
